05/25/2023Traveling, about 6 hours from home, found out our leaf spring was broke on our 22 ft cargo trailer that was full of equip-- dangerous situation..made a few phone calls, stopped a few places and found our way to this place. The moment we stepped in the door we were greeted by very friendly helpful people. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. They got us right in fixed us up on the spot and had us back on the road in under 2 hours. Charged a more than fair price. Amazing place. Wish they were in Detroit, MI. Would use them for all of ourtrailer needs. thank you.

Our towed car lights went out and we could not figure out what was wrong. Called several places on our route with anything from 3 days to a week wait. Called here and they could get us in the next morning as soon as we could get there. They completely rebuilt our towed car light cable, the car connector and rewired it all for 126.00 for 3 hours work. They got us going again with an even better hook up than what we brought them. Excellent job done. ONE WARNING They sit back in a hole off the road can be hard to find.

I was traveling through Lexington on my way to FL towing a 20ft enclosed trailer when I hit a massive pothole on I 75 that ripped a wheel off of one of the trailers axles. I had it towed to Lexington Trailer and Hitch and although they did not have the axle in stock to replace it, they ordered it and replaced it when it came in. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. The workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend them for any trailer needs you might have.

I would stay far away from this shop. They sold me the wrong size bearings last year. Would not let me in the shop because the only person working during the time had Covid. The bearings busted out at the beginning of this year. Went back to the shop again today was sold the wrong bearings again only to find out that it destroyed my hubs and axle because of their neglect to help me find the correct size fitting bearing. Thanks for costing me so much money

Quoted 200-250$ over the phone to fixed my coupler on my utility trailer. She stated that was also on the high side to be safe. I agreed to it and had my trailer towed to them Monday. They told me it ll be ready by Wednesday. I called Wednesday to see when I could pick it up as I have lawn care clients waiting for me. She told me the bill would now be from 600-800$!!! I told them no that s not what I agreed to. Well I didn t get my trailer on Wednesday. Kept calling every day until Friday. Finally got my trailer done. They charged me 200$ plus tax. Should ve been 212$. The total came out to 222$. This company is lazy and shady. Be careful. I hope my weld holds up.

Had heard from several people to stay away from this place. Always had until I got in a pinch a few years ago and needed parts. Had a good experience, so I have continued to go back. Turns out the current owner, Brian, bought the place a few years ago and has really turned it around. Last week I had them do some fabrication work on my truck. Brian spent a good amount of time looking at it and designing it with me. Quoted me a great price. When I came to pick it up I could tell he had really underbid the work, but he honored his original verbal estimate. That's good business, and will keep me coming back. Oh, and Kat at the front desk is very helpful and energetic. If you have any wait time her hospitality makes it less of a burden.

I have dealt with this family run business for years and they never disappoint. They fit me in to have work done on my vehicle so we could head to Florida in a week. Not only did they fit me in, they got it done a day and half early. If you want the best there is, this is the place for you. I won't go anywhere else, and no, I am not affiliated in any way.

We were stranded on State rt 75 south with a broken axle on my fifth wheel camper. Tammy / Brian / and Carl jumped in and prepped an axle with the specs I needed in record time. They also tried to find someone to install (everyone was booked). They proceeded to give me the advice needed to install my first axle. 1.5 hrs is what it took us. Thank you so much. You guys are the best. Wish you were in Ohio.

My wife and I were on vacation when we had a serious problem with our trailer. Brian and Tammy were SO nice and helpful, even staying late to accommodate us! They fixed it quickly and charged a very fair price. They are AWESOME and we highly recommend!!!

The workmanship of this business is definitely 5 star quality.Tammi is personable and friendly. I was surprised by how good the spray in bed-liner looked. My tonneau cover has made our truck the sharpest truck in town!Plus our trailer hitch is spot on.Would recommend them to everyone who wants their moneys worth.

I appreciated them getting me in because I needed help being from out of town but the price was ridiculous! They charged me $80 to pack up the bearings on my trailer and didn t even take the wheels off. They just squirted a little grease in the grease fitting. I paid $750 and the general consensus was it should have been about half that cost.

Excellent service!!! Headed to TN with horses in the trailer. Lights failed. Brian and Scooby worked with it and figured out the issue. And, not only were lights not wired correctly, but also shorted out the brakes on the trailer!! They were efficient and thorough and fixed the problem. And, spent time showing me how to troubleshoot if needed on our trip. I'm so appreciative of their help!! Fantastic!!

Everyone here was fantastic to work with and made the process easy. I dropped my stock trailer off on New Years Day, when they were closed, and spoke exclusively over the phone to complete the repairs necessary. They were honest in the assessment of the issue I was trying to fix, which is rare when dealing with repair companies of any kind. They found that the issue I believed to be the problem was actually not the root, and repaired the correct piece for a significantly lower price than what they could have charged, had they fixed what I asked in the first place. In addition to repairing the initial issue, they fixed the stand on the trailer, changing it from a wheel to a "foot" stand, and straightening the section of metal where it attaches.I was able to pay over the phone with my credit card and they emailed me a receipt.I will definitely be returning with any other issues my trailers have.

I was traveling through Lexington towing a trailer and broke the hitch on my truck. Long story short I ended up at Lexington Trailer and Hitch at 8 AM on a Monday morning. Tammy, Brian, and the crew got my truck in on short notice and completed a difficult removal of a rusty broken hitch and installed a new one. This was an involved hours long job. The result was 100% and I paid a fair price. Keep in mind that good work isn t cheap and cheap work isn t good folks. You get what you pay for.

I was stressed out, moving my elderly mom to another state. The owner and Tammy were so helpful. Their kindness, sincerity and effort to get the hitch on as fast as possible was superb. Best kept secret in Lexington. Buy local! Uhaul sucks!!!

I just wanted to make public what a great job Cat, Scoobie and Sunday did this morning. These folks are very concerned about the welfare of their customer and show it naturally. They were knowledgeable about their products and service but the most impressive thing about this crew is there friendliness. This is why I will be coming back to Lexington Trailer and Hitch for all of my needs from now on.The owners of this business should be congratulated for hiring such a professional group of folks. I hope the owners read this and recognize them for a job well done.Do your self a favor and visit these folks and you will know what I mean...I don't even think they would mind if you were just saying hello....maybe do some business down the road. We need more engaging personalities like these out there in the business world.....by the way, I was the first customer on a Saturday morning which, as we all know, is not the time most people want to be working.Trailer issue? This is the only place you should go.

Tammy and Scooby were great! They patiently answered my questions to be sure I was comfortable and getting the correct brake box and hitch before starting any work. Tammy took time to show me how to properly use the new brake box. The work was done quickly and perfectly!

Horrible service. Paid twice what my quote was for an installation of a hitch and wiring on my truck. The following day the wiring ALL melted on my 5 hour drive to the destination due to improper installation. After taking the truck to a DEALERSHIP, it was finally fixed properly. After pictures were sent and the mechanic from the dealership called Lexington Trailer and Hitch, LT&H refused to take responsibility for the wiring malfunction. Not only will I NEVER use them again, I will make sure anyone I know in the area stays clear. A total waste of time and money.

We broke down with a fifth wheel just going into Lexington on our way to Florida. My husband was recovering from a recent heart attack We were given the name of Lexington Trailer 7 Hitch by Roberts Towing and AAA. We limped into the horse park campground and the next day called and they got us in right away, fixed our problem and sent us on our way. We were driving just ahead of an ice storm and had we waited the weekend we would have been behind at least 5-7 days. They were wonderful, swift, and just plain great customer service. Thank you so much.Larry & Toni Owens

I called for an appointment for wiring harness installation. They could accomadate my day and time. Cat checked to be sure they had parts in stock and quoted me a price and approximate time necessary to complete the work. When I arrived my vehicle was immediatly whisked into the service bay. I was offered cold drinks and free wi-fi. Work complete and out the door on time and no extra costs. The owner also happens to be a veteran. This is a wonderful place and I would reccomend it highly to anyone needing their services.

Visiting Lexington from out of town (Cleveland, Ohio area). Needed 4 tires and a rim for my RV. Local RV dealers did not have what I needed but LT&H did. Excellent service and a great price (10% off for ex-military). Thanks for getting me back on the road!
