Was unfamiliar with this dealership until I started looking around (I'm in Cincinnati). Vanessa was incredibly helpful, responsive and genuine. She was not at all pushy, and treated me like a friend. I ultimately did not end up purchasing through this dealership, mostly due to distance, but Vanessa continued to advise me through the car-buying process with my local VW dealership. Next time I go to buy a car, I will most definitely consider making the trip to Lexington to consider Don Jacobs. Thank you for everything, Vanessa!

Started on the phone with my request for the best figures for a lease. We reached an agreement on a particular vehicle. When I went into the dealership, everything was just as it was promised in the phone conversation. Best lease deal I found in this area. Thank you to John-Michael and Vanessa for their expertise.

Every employee we encountered were extremely nice. No one was pushy like most car dealerships. By far the best dealership we have ever bought a car at. Specifically Jason and Vanessa were great to work with.

We worked with Addison Ellis and Richard Boies and they were fantastic. Addison answered all of our questions, helped get financing rolling, and made sure the car was ready for our test drive when we got there. Richard was very thorough in walking us through all of the features of the vehicle. Vanessa and Christina were also very easy to work with. Great team at Don Jacobs!

I reached out to Don Jacobs about test driving (and hopefully purchasing!) a Toyota RAV4 available on their lot. Logan reached out quickly to schedule an appointment later that day at 5:00 PM. He stated that he would have the car ready for me to test drive upon arrival. My husband and I do not live in Lexington and made an extra effort to make arrangements that would ensure we would be ready for the Don Jacobs team at this time. Upon arrival at 4:30 PM (30 minutes before our appointment), we were extremely disappointed to learn that the car had already been sold before we even made it to the dealership. We actually watched it drive out of the parking lot. There was zero communication that the car would no longer be available -- merely hours after we had made the appointment to see it. We had very high hopes for coming home with a great vehicle, so it was extremely disheartening to see we did not receive the seamless, professional experience we had heard about from others.

Good sales staff. I have had encounters with the owner over the years. One of the most selfish egotistical most narcissistic person I ve ever met in my life. Was clear to me that he didn t care about anyone but himself. I ve bought several cars from Don Jacobs over the years from VW s to BMW s and a few PreOwned cars, and I think this will be the last vehicle I buy from them. My last few salesman that no longer work there have told me how bad it is to work there and how greedy their upper management there has become, so I would rather take my money elsewhere to a dealership with more integrity.

This was probably the best car buying experience I've had. RJ was extremely helpful in our selection process and very knowledgeable on the vehicles. The vehicle we ended up purchasing was already appropriately priced and we were given a fair offer on our trade-in. We walked out feeling excited about the deal we got on our new car. This was my second experience with Don Jacobs and we will be going back again next time.

This dealership is awesome!!!! I received outstanding service from my salesman John-Michael Black. He was honest and upfront about everything with my deal. They even beat my banks rate on the loan. Don Jacob's will be our family dealership from now on. Everyone from sales, finance and management I dealt with was friendly. For a great deal try Don Jacob's. You won't be disappointed.

Very satisfied with our experience buying a new Atlas from Don Jacobs VW. Starting with my first experience with Rebecca Renfroe who found the vehicle we wanted, worked with us to structure the best deal to continuous conversation and questions leading up to picking the vehicle up in person. When we arrived we worked with Joe Cupolo, a young but very capable and personable Sales Advisor who walked us around the vehicle, helped us complete our credit app and finalize financing. Last, Vanessa Steele helped us complete our financing and there were no major surprises or heavy sales pitches when you close out a deal for various products and warrantys. Vanessa gave us 2 options to choose from that made sense for us as the consumer, the math checked out for the value if the coverage, and it was a no pressure process. Vanessa finalized the closing quickly and we were on our way. Having spent some time car shopping recently, I highly recommend working with the team at Don Jacobs. We found the car we wanted online and travelled from Cincinnati. It was a great overall experience.

Me and my wife went to look at the 2024 Volkswagen atlas peak edition on the lot. Whenever we pulled up it was sold! We was greeted by a sales person Elijah McKenzie. He was excellent throughout the whole process of buying our SUV. Even though the atlas peak edition was sold before we arrived Elijah went to work to find us a the perfect SUV for us. He sold us a 2024 Volkswagen atlas SEL R-line. Anyone looking for a vehicle hit up Elijah McKenzie at Don Jacob s Volkswagen.

RJ and Jackson were awesome!!! They truly went out of their way for us and did it without being pushy! Honestly, that's a huge factor of why we went with VW! The experience at the dealer was the best of so many we went to. we may be VW people now!

I found the vehicle I went to the dealership I was looking for. I made the deal, and together with my husband signed the paperwork. We waited over an hour for them to "detail" the vehicle... which was clearly not done (see pictures). I became highly irritated when the registration and loan paperwork all listed my husband's name first. We had been asked who would be the primary driver, I answer I would be. My husband was only there as a cosigner, and bearly said 2 words the whole day. And to push me over the edge the customer satisfaction survey was sent to my husband, who knew I was upset by all the gender-typing, and sent me the survey.

I was literally blown away by the professionalism, patience, empathy and determination that John-Michael had when working with me. I was all over the place in my car buying idea however he was so kind and understanding. The entire dealership was outstanding and it was such a good atmosphere. Even Vanessa, the financial paperwork professional, was fantastic. I feel like the service there was incredible and I ve had many luxury vehicles: Volvo, BMW, Lexus, Cadillac and never received the genuine honesty and treatment I got here at Don Jacobs with VW. I m so glad I made a pit stop because it was worth it and I left with a a brand new car and the process was great.

This morning, I dropped my vehicle off for regular maintenance. I received a text around noon that my vehicle was ready for pick up with a link to schedule a pick up as well as pay for the service. I became busy at work and forgot to schedule a pick up time.Like most, I get off at 5:30 p, which is when the service area closes. However, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle around 5:40 p, I walked right into the service area and was greeted by a young women in scrubs. I thought that was odd but didn t question. She searched for my keys and an invoice upon which I told her I hadn t had a chance to pay but could following the link on the text I had received. She said she couldn t find my keys but we could go up to member services, as they might be there.At member services, she couldn t find my keys. We walked back to the service area and she told me to hang tight while she texted a manager to determine what had happened to my vehicle. This happens sometimes, we will get it figured out. , along with, Sometimes we lose the keys but we will figure it out .I waited about 10 minutes in this area and she came back to say we needed to go back to member services and we could figure something out. I asked if this happened often and she proceeded to tell me it happens sometimes and that the service area and member services don t always communicate so hiccups happen. Naturally, I am becoming worried and extremely confused as to how the dealership didn t have a better system for holding keys for vehicles that need to be picked up. She asked if I could come back tomorrow to pick it up (even though my vehicle hadn t been located at this point) and I said sure but I need a vehicle so what can we work out?! She said she was only there to maintenance her vehicle and she wasn t even working and not sure how this could have happened. Why was she helping me anyway if she wasn t working?!At member services, I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the service manager wasn t available, the only manager that was available was the sales manager and there wasn t much he could do about this. Again, I am very frustrated and internally fuming at this point. I was asked to hold further in the member services area.About 5 minutes later, a sales person and the gal I had been talking to came back out, asked me the color and VW model. The sales person was able to find my vehicle and bring it to the front.I told the salesperson I would like to speak with the service manager before I pay for this service. He held my keys and said it was a liability, which I understand. I did raise my voice, ended up paying and left but this is the most bizarre interaction.I appreciate the sales team stepping in to assist but the chaotic mess that occurred to locate my vehicle was ridiculous. This was a 40 minute ordeal!!!If I didn t have to continue servicing my VW with Don Jacobs to remain under warranty, I would take my business elsewhere.

The car buying experience at Don Jacobs BMW/VW Lexington was awesome. I received quick feedback from Rebecca online when asking questions about cars. There was a lot of inventory for me to consider several cars, so I didn t mind driving 1 1/2 hours. Jay Willis listened carefully to what I was looking for in a VW (a third-time VW buyer) and was able to find me the perfect car. Sales manager, Phillip, provided excellent feedback during the buying process. I would definitely recommend looking here for a car, whether used or new. Processing the final paperwork (Vanessa) went smooth and she is a joy. Everyone at Don Jacobs BMW/VW auto sales was friendly, joyful and was kind as could be. You should add them to your list when looking for a car. I m very happy that I went there.

We bought our new if.4 from this dealership and it was such an incredible experience. Everyone was so friendly to my kiddos who were just meting down. They brought out balloons and coloring books and snacks for them. They were super knowledgeable about the electric vehicle we were purchasing. We 100 percent recommend them!

My 19 son took his used car he had just purchased to be serviced. One of the front headlights was not working. We had ordered the part online and he took it to have them to replace it along with a few others items. They called him to let him know that part he had brought in didn t work. No where on the voice mail did they say anything about charging to put the old one back on or give an option that it would be cheaper to let them other a replacement part. They just asked him what he wanted to do and of course he said just to leave it as is. When he went to pick up the car, there was a $160 charge to off the old non-working light and then put it back on. When he asked if he could just let them order the correct one they said they could but it would be another charge to take the old one back off and replace with the new one. Of course my son was upset as this was a cost that he shouldn t have pay. He asked to speak to the manager. To make matters worse, When the service advisor went to get his manager, they were all laughing inside the office before they came out. Of course no resolution or help and was let known this was the only Volkswagen dealer in Lexington. Pretty much sorry but not sorry. Poor customer service. Took advantage of a young kid just trying to make ends meet. It looks like from the reviews sales is top notch. Servicing on the other hand not so much. Don t let the 4.5 rating fool you.

Worst customer service ever. A clamp to quiet a muffler turned into a 3000 dollar job. They refused to just weld it and did a 300 dollar oil change instead. They then locked up the 2008 jetty that wasn't worth what they demanded to fix it until they got the 300 for a oil change I doubt they did. To Civil Court we go.

Buying a car from Don Jacobs was so easy. There was zero haggle and they were up front and honest. I received a better deal than i was offered on Carvana and Josh in finance is a stand up guy. Over the years I ve purchased several vehicles from this dealership, Allison Thurman and Ross Taylor in particular. They have always kept it real with me, having previous sales experience myself I turn to them whenever I m in the market knowing they are going to do their best to take care of me. I would recommend going to those two for your future automotive needs. Every staff member has been polite and welcoming on every one of my visits. Overall the dealership is at the top of my go to list. I have no complaints.
