Kellie and the team were exceptional.They let me know what the issue was within a day of me dropping off the car and then worked with me on making sure we got everything fixed within the next day of them diagnosing the issue. The team made sure I was taken care of and understood what exactly the problems were. They were upfront with everything and never seemed to want to take advantage of me which is nice as that tends to be a common practice with different mechanics. Overall I would recommend them every time for anything you would need!

I ve been here several times with different vehicles. Each time they have been honest and transparent about the cost and what they would recommend fixing.By far my favorite mechanic I have ever been too.

I actually never make it there because lady who answered phone never get back to me even she said she will call me back with price for oil change . So I will say so far from my experience customer service is sucks. If you don't know answers for simple questions like how much is oil change you don't have to work there. On top of that she was rude to me. She asked me what type of car I have and after I said she jumped on me and said is that you who is calling us all the time? I said huh? That was my first time trying to call them. That wasn't nice. She didn't know how much oil change and said I have to check it and get back to you. Never did.

I can't thank Kelly & Ethan enough for helping me out in a bad situation. We're from GA & were supposed to return the next day. A horrible noise started coming from the front right of our car. My husband was sick & I would be driving thru the GA mountains. I read the reviews & felt comfortable calling Clarks to see if they could help me. Kelly said they were really backed up due to the holiday, but bring it in & they would take a look. Maybe they could take care of it the next day. I took it in & Ethan took a drive with me, then took the car into the shop. The horrible noise turned out to be a loose caliper bolt & a missing one. Also my front brakes were shot & the back weren't looking great. Ethan showed me, but it didn't mean much. I told them if they could, I wanted them all replaced. They ended up being able to do it that afternoon & we were safely on our way the next day. I felt comfortable they were doing the right thing & I was very thankful for them quickly helping out someone who will probably not be a return customer. However, I did give their information to my sister & brother in law for future use. Thank you again, for your help.

I Took My 1984 Cadillac Eldorado To These Guys And They Broke My Engine Down And Video Recorded The Problem With One Of My Heads. A Several Months Later I Found A Great Low Mile Engine And Then I Called These Guys Back Up Letting Them Know I Was Ready For The Swop Out, I Was Told Drop My Car Off That Following Monday. I Dropped My Car Off Late In The Evening That Monday And By Friday Morning My Car Was Ready With Very Cold A/C. I Will Be Taking My Car Back Soon For Front Steering Work Next. Very Nice Folks There At This Business. Also Jasper Certified.

We are new to Kentucky and multiple people recommended this shop to us. We previously had been using a dealership here, but after three bad experiences, we went to Clarks.Incredibly honest and straightforward. They were able to get our car in fast, diagnose the issue, and were able to get parts same day and fix it. Prices were reasonable and we will be back for future service and repair.

They are amazing! I was driving through the area the other day and suddenly my car was giving my issues. I pulled over and showed up within 30 minutes of closing. I couldn't say enough nice things about this place. They were incredibly nice, took their time to still check my car, and give me their recommendations. I am so very thankful that I stopped here and if I was staying in town I would have used them for repairs.If the team sees this, I did make it home alright, my dog was thankful for the water refill, and I am getting things sorted per recommendations! I took my car there because my brakes were overheating. The staff took the time to thoroughly check the brakes, rotors, and calipers. Although I did not have an appointment and I was visiting from Illinois and they inspected my car right away. After several diagnostic test and a road test they could not find anything wrong and I have not had a problem since. I went to the counter to pay for the brake inspection and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no charge. Ethan and the rest of the group are a great group to work with. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Been to a lot of shops in my day and this place is by far the best experience I ve ever had. I m from Indianapolis and came to Lexington to pickup for my employer and had my truck break down. Broken U-Joint. They helped unhook and park my trailer and pulled my truck inside within 15 minutes. Had my truck out and fixed ready to go in under an hour. Great people, great fast work, and very competitive prices. Highly recommend and I m a mechanic myself. Definitely coming back if I m ever in Kentucky again

Friends from church recommended Clarks after they had gone there, & when my car began making a whomp whomp whomp sound, I called to make an appointment. They were super nice & worked hard on its problem. Turns out, the sound was a shoop shoop shoop, & they readily fixed the right, front wheel bearing. They also did an alignment since I had just bought 4 new tires - from another place. They had fair prices & are Christian owned & when I need to have more repairs done, I'll come here

Been taking my 10 year old Highlander here for a couple of years. Bill & his staff are great - friendly, honest & excellent mechanics. Never been steered wrong or advised to do expensive repairs I didn t need. Even when I just go in for an oil change, they check things over in general & let me know what to watch for in a vehicle the age of mine. I would recommend them to anybody.

Fabulous auto repair shop. These guys are up to date on ALL the latest technologies that are being put into our cars. They stayed after the unusual problem we were having with our car - and went as far as contacting the manufacturer of the broken part to find a solution!Great group of professionals who love cars and won t quit until you are happy with the repairs. I was very impressed.

Got charged 400 dollars for spark plugs and some random test we didn t even ask for. Car died a few weeks later and we saw something that was held together by a zip tie never coming back

Good people. They have serviced my car multiple times. Ended up having to take the car to the dealership concerning a rough idle and check engine light issue I was dealing with that I had them work on first. But to their defense it was pretty much a situation that you almost had to be a Chrysler mechanic to get it done correctly due to its specialization and complexity. Apparently it was an issue with my valve configuration. Yes I would recommend Clark's.

This shop is a gem. They take the time to explain what is going on with your car and what it will take to fix it. They really try to accomodate your schedule ( i was worried about my car and Nancy told me to bring it on in). After a very thorough check - the estimate came back $700.-- cheaper than the dealership. They do all kinds of maintenance here. My new car shop for sure

Made a phone call Ethan answered the phone. Told him my electrical issues I was having on my SuperDuty. Told me to bring it up to their shop. A little over an hour I was leaving with the problem fixed. Super fast, super friendly, great price and very honest. We have a Ford F350 that had been in a few times for an issue that was under warranty, but the Ford garage could never get it fixed. Out of warranty, the problem came up again, and we took it to Clarks. Bill Clark was able to determine the problem, fix it, and the charge was half of what the garages had been charging when under warranty. They work on all our vehicles now, and we take our cars to them for maintenance and oil changes as well. They go above and beyond basic service and even let me know when something wrong with a vehicle might be under warranty or recall. I have never had a garage do that for me before. We often travel long distances out of state, and I can count on them to check out the car/truck from top to bottom before I go. They have never put on parts or done anything without calling to let me know the costs and options. These people do great work!

I've been a repeat customer for almost 10 years. It's a family owned and operated business that I completely trust with all of my vehicles. They've done everything on my vehicles from oil changes to replacing a worn out transmission. Excellent work! There's no high pressure tactics to make you reach deeper into your pocket. I'd rather get a simple oil change here than go to the quick lube spots where they try to sell you the moon or scare you with impending doom. I send my Mother to this shop and I never doubt that she was taken care of.

I have a 95 Lebaron convertible and the shift assembly broke. I couldn't get the ignition key out but could drive it. A mechanic and multiple parts stores told me it was impossible to find one after about a six week search. I took it to a local Chrysler dealer who refused to even look at it! I found out about Clark's Automotive. They found one in NJ within 24 hours $250. They told me it might not work if we ordered it and suggested that they could rig it so that I could get the key out and it would function like new for $100. Car repaired in another 24 hours! Works like new. Great people, especially Nancy who kept me updated severaltimes a day.

Nancy, at the front desk is an angel on earth, and her husband Bill (nickname Peanuts) is a know-how powerhouse. Together, they run a personable, reliable, effective operation that is a pleasure to work with. Nancy has a superhuman ability to source parts and create relationships with parts dealers so the ball can get rolling as fast as possible on your specific problem. Everyone at this establishment is an effective communicator with a preternatural emphasis on service. Take my word for it: you wont regret calling.

I've been taking our variety of vehicles to Clark's for many years. They have always been able to diagnose challenging problems - maybe the best in Lexington. I have never seen so many different diagnostic tools in a local, independent auto repair shop. They are ALWAYS honest and fair, and they keep my interests in mind above their own interests.

Took my car somewhere else and they told me I needed a whole new motor so I brought it here and they said all I needed was a new alternator they fixed it same day for the lowest prize they could give me and it works great now! Never even needed a new motor!
