The sales experience was certainly lacking and they seem to take full advantage BUT the service for my vehicle I have received there has been great! The service tech/manager or whatever his title may be Chris is excellent! Give the man and his front desk associate a raise. Friendly and quick service.

This is the only dealership that would give me a car with only a few months of work history & literally nonexistent credit. I only had $1,000 to put down but they still let me pick a Kia Soul that I really wanted if I agreed to put another 1,000 down at tax time to make it a larger down payment which I am extremely grateful for. I get a great car warranty & super cheap oil changes. The staff are so friendly & they make me feel welcomed every time I go in for something. I ALWAYS recommend them to my friends. Most of them ended up going with other dealerships & immediately regretted it because they always sneak things into the contracts that they didn t talk about before hand. Byrider doesn t do that. They re straight to the point and aren t trying to be sneaky or stingy. I ll make sure to come back once my daughter needs her first car as well. I know I can trust them :)

Great place with amazing people! I purchased my first car with them in 2018 and on 10/22/2021 I went and purchased another one! They made me feel very secure and they are very knowledgeable! I went in from out of town and was running 2 h behind. I arrived at 605p was out by 745p. Love them! The only place I will buy a vehicle from even if I have to travel from out of town!

The store manger and the service department manager have been easy to work with- there have been issues with my car since the first day I bought it but, the store has been very accommodating to my needs and done their dudilagence to correct my issues in a very timely manner.This experience for me , so far, has been a good one. With Byrider, in less than 7 months, I have improved my credit score and qualified for a credit card. By here- pay here car lots are expensive but, for the money I am spending and the warranty and treatment I am receiving I feel all the expense is justified.

Ive never had much luck with "buy here pay here" even with lemon laws they still get you however I got a great car thats ran perfect for months. Its a little high on price but....Also service dept is awful. It's hard to contact them and even if you make an appointment. It's a business that you can feel are closing there doors soon.

Thanks to JD Byrider my credit score has vastly improved! I came to them with bad credit history and very little money for a down payment yet I still drove away with a reliable, affordable car. The salesman, the financing team and the service department have all impacted my life in a positive way. They don't treat me like a customer, they treat me like a friend. I highly recommend buying a car here!

The friendly staff here made me feel welcome and put a positive vibe out from the beginning to end. Their warranty and oil changes are a fantastic deal! I was not in an ideal situation and they still took the time to put me in a great vehicle. I would recommend to anyone.

They do a good job on what they do. With that said, beyond oil changes & the occasional tune up if your buying the accessories isn't a lot. But they also know good people & places to refer you to. In house services (garage) is going to run you 52$ an hour. But if you have a warranted Bechtel through them you'll enjoy all the oil changes you want for only 12$.

JD Byrider is one of the best places I have ever gotten a used car from. They have been very honest and truthful about all their cars. They also are very quick to fix any problems that arise with the vehicle during the time you are renting to own it. I highly recommend this company to anyone that has not so good credit and have been turned down by other dealerships.

Friendly service. Ally was very patient while helping me, made for a good experience. After having my car less than a yr, I have to say that the employees there are always friendly. My only problem would be that it seems like everytime I take the car into the shop ,it comes out with more problems. Seems like there is always something wrong with the car. But the service department employees are always friendly and really try to help.

Definitely recommend. They are so nice and patient. We have kids... All 3 younger than 4 ... So if you want to feel not rushed, or judged because your kids are rowdy..then here's the place to go for great buys too...they'll take good care of you... Glenn Howell was all around awesome at helping us. My husband and I will be back! Thanks!

Definitely a really positive experience I've ever had buying a car. They definitely work with you in regards to payments and keeping you within your budget. Very direct and friendly service. Didn't experience the bs you usually do with most car salesmen. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking.

What a great company to work with. I had my identity stolen not long ago and it absolutely ruined my credit. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get a loan for a much needed vehicle. With the help of this companies employees, I was into a nice vehicle within a couple of hours. The vehicle, no matter what kind, comes with a 3 year or 36 000 mile warranty.If you are in the same boat as myself or are iust in need of a vehicle, I would suggest you give them a try and don't forget to tell them that I sent you.Thank you Jessica for all of your help

We have been with byrider for over two years now. We got a 2013 Ford Escape. Our credit wasn't the best and at the time we had $500 to put down and not $5,000 for a half decent used car. Having to work and live our day to day life's we entered a contract with 21% interest. So a $7,000+ vehicle turned into 20k+. Fast forward to today the engine is bad we're out of our warranty and no help what so ever. The best JD Byrider will do is take the vehicle back and count it as a repo. So now we have a vehicle that's not drivable that I'm going to half to have towed back to my house we're it will sit and we will still half to make payments on. I'm very disappointed that they care so little about customer s than this. Lesson learned, we will pay it off eat the it. Be careful if your trying to build your creditthey sem like predatory lenders giving very high interest loans to people when they are most vulnerable. Life happens and you half to do what you got to do just use caution.

I have a great car! The service department is the best! 11/13/18 I have had my car almost 3 yrs now and she got sick for the first time since I've had her. And Chris in Lexington took great care of my baby. She runs like a brand new car. So thankful for these guys!

I appreciate the time and experience of Tyler and the rest of the staff at Byrider. I was impressed with the information and the full care of the cars before they put them out on the lot for sale. l would recommend them to anyone who ask were to get a nice, clean and great running automobile that the they will fix if things di go wrong. I was only looking and end with a great deal on a automobile, so I would highly suggest you to stop in an have a look. Thank you Tyler and the Byrider team!

I do not know why you have to pay for a warranty when their service department is AWFUL. I have had my car for a year and told them at the beginning there was a noise coming from underneath and after taking for the second time about this noise still told nothing was wrong after insisting they check again was told a cracked manifold, then told was getting the part for a discount with no warranty I checked the part and found at advanced auto for 40 dollars cheaper with a year warranty. My car was also overheating and was told fluid was low that was all. Two days later overheated again. Have tried to call 5 times to get looked at again and cant get an answer or leave a message. What is the point of paying for a warranty and you cant get in and when you do problems never fixed.

I went there hoping to get in a car it didn t really matter what it was . Had a good review from them from my sister so I said hey I guess I ll give them a try. The two new dudes and the lady were really nice and welcoming can t remember there names. I did the app and everything and then the finance dude came in and was asking just different questions about my credit and the things on my credit. Got done with that and went outside for a sec he came out and let me know that it was not a no but they would need $2500 down because I m a risk. I was told from the go that it doesn t matter about credit and what not and they don t base a decision off credit but what do you call that smh. Overall I will not be back and do not recommend this place to anyone with bad credit because they are going to go off that even tho they say they dont.

They have been very nice, understanding and helpful since I got my car 5 months ago. I can call them with questions, concerns and they go beyond to make sure I'm a happy customer. Highly reccomend them and could not ask for a better car company to be with.

Well on the phone they said they could put me in any car on the lot and and also said your credit doesn't matter either. Based from my experience I now know all of that is a lie if you have bad credit or bad credit line you can expect a very large down payment due and a co-signer needed. You could go to any other certified dealer and expect the same qualifications needed to buy a car at least there you'd get better customer service

I am being completely honest about jd, this review isnt cause of my bad experience but simply the truth. They will charge you the state maximum for apr (26%) I work at a car dealership myself and can guarantee you will have a lot better luck and can still get approved from a reputable car dealer. My car is worth 900 dollars, jd says it's worth 12000. Financed where if I make my 2 week payments I'll have a payout of 22000. Being nice with the roundup it's still 22 times what it's worth (rounding to 1000) they will not even let you pick what car you want (they usually only have at max 20 cars on lot) they pick for you and let you choose between 2 cars (both priced so they make the most) they will do whatever it takes to get a sale, they are only in business still cause of excellent lawyers (not a bias to the company just the truth) in fact the process of buying was miserable and rushed me out the door rolling their eyes cause they had to stay later than the closing hours to close our deal. Read the reviews... it's the reviews of people who just bought the car (who isn't satisfied after getting a car) and not long standing customers who have had to make payments for a car that doesn't even run. My father has been in car business for 20+ years and his comment verbatim was "when we had to appraise a vehicle from them, we would bring jumper cables and a full toolbox because the vehicle 90% of the time wasn't even working. Believe me and understand I do not want to be a jerk, but honestly want every person to get a reliable car and an excellent car company that will do what it takes to make their customers happy. I do not lie and I hope you see the desperate truth I am trying to convey.

Great service fast and easy . Was approved for financing where others wouldn t . They were able to work with our needs and put us in an affordable car . Also using credit repair with them am able to repair my credit along with affordable payments . Would recommend anyone to them Josh our sale rep was fast and friendly . Great place if looking for car

When you see a red flag, you shouldn't ignore it. I've had my jeep for two years now and I always have problems. I should of known better when the car broke down after having it for one day. I just called today and told them my abs (automatic brake system) warning light was on so something is wrong with my break system. I was told they weren't available until next week! What if my brakes go out before then?! Terrible customer service if you are in need of a car go anywhere but here!

I went there an they only had 8 cars ready to sell. Wanted $2500 down on a 2007 impala with over 100,000 miles. $11,000 for the car , because they said the were doing me such a great service that I couldn't get anywhere else. Then they bad mouthed the dealers down the road from them..

When I first went in I got approve for 2 cars I didn't like. Josh the program consultant ask me what I was interested. He work with me I got the car I wanted. Excellent service if I need a new car ever again I will go back there I will also recommend going there if you need a car2

Christy was were nice and helpful. She walked me through the entire process and was a delight to be around. The finance company CNAC were also very helpful. They worked with me even though my trade in and credit were both pretty bad. I would recommend them to any one in need of finance that needs a little help getting your credit back up.

Buying a used car can be a gamble - I have had issues with my used car but, the dealership and the service garage have ALWAYS taken care of me. I would highly recommend anyone needing to rebuild their credit and needing to purchase an automobile check out ByRider in Lexington KY.

They took advantage of me not knowing how the process went, and the fact that I was alone and in a situation where I had to have a car! The charged me $18,000 for a $5,700 2009 Chevy Impala. After the second day of having the car they door lock broke and I missed a days work because of them having to tow it. The seatbelts were both broken and by day 3 check engine light was on and stayed on the entire time I had it. After day 3 I informed the GM I no longer wanted the car and was told that I would still be responsible the entire balance and that it would be placed on my credit as a voluntary repo. I believed him and kept the car. In 2 months I paid close to $1,100 on top of the $500 I put down at the time of purchase. This was all going to the down payment. On March 8th the last of the down payment was due... $5,250! Remind you this is only a $5,800 vehicle! Over a year I would have paid another $7,500 for this already messed up car and so I informed them I couldn t make the payment and returned the car. This ladies and gentlemen is J.D Byrider if they have a chance. Don t give them that chance.
