Got helped by an awesome guy at the store today. Super friendly and had a smile for everyone who walked in. Made the whole place feel inviting. Definitely swing by if you get the chance, they had all kinds of batteries and other electronics

James who said he was the manager was completely useless. Suggested we go to the dealership for a specialty battery when it was a basic 21 model dodge truck. We ended up purchasing online to take advantage of battery day deal and he called back after the order was completed to say I do be busy and wouldn t allow us to make an appt for another day. THEN he said actually no we can t change your battery any other day (without looking at it). Moral: James the manager is not the guy to talk to or to do a single thing the company offers. I ve used batteries plus in other cities and had great luck. This location needs new leadership.

i was looking for a car key in early october which the store didn t have, so they offered to fulfill an order for one. i hadn t received a call about the order in about a month in early November, so I went back and apparently they had just switched management and got a new credit card, so they had to place the order again. I asked the person at the Desk about how long it should take and they said about a week to two weeksI hadn t heard anything, so last night I went (November 27) to See if anything had changed & The key still had not come in, so I just asked for a refund. All of the people that helped me were very kind. I think there may be a managerial issue with Orders being fulfilled.on the other hand, they do recycle old batteries if you re looking for a place to have that done. it is not free.

**AWESOME Customer Service**Called Lexington location Batteries & Bulbs from Atlanta, GA as my UK daughter s vehicle needed a replacement battery. The young man Jacob not only recommended the proper battery, but went above and beyond by helping me order the battery on the website and schedule the installation (same day). 10 out of 10 on two separate online orders. Both times I ordered a key fob that was not in stock at my local store. The first experience was so good, I went ahead and replaced my other broken key fob. Immediately after both orders, the store manager called me to say that the item was not in stock and to ask if I wanted to wait until it arrived or to cancel the order. Both times, when I went to get the item, they cut me a new key. Mine is weird, and it took a while. While waiting, I observed the staff help several other customers with different kinds of things. 100% would shop again. Best in class for retail experience. Would recommend.

Mitzy and Corey were incredibly kind and also very knowledgeable. Regardless that I sadly went in about 2 mins till closing, they both took their time and helped me and gave me help and advice for future visits. I will definitely be going back : )

Such a convenient place to shop....especially for those speciality batteries or bulbs. It's certainly better than shuffling through the piles you often find at other stores.

I m only giving 1 star because you were open on Sunday. My screen was damaged as our big dog just a 105 pound puppy chewed it while we were sleeping. I had a litter of golden pups that had left with others coming in a day or two. I assumed when my husband called he d verify you use quality iPhone/Apple parts? Nope, what you installed leaves a warning on my phone and facial recognition won t work. I paid almost $300 and they re not iPhone/Apple parts and the person working should have told us that when we arrived. Truly disappointing paying $300.00 for repair which wasn t quality repair. I did call and the young man says oh they re iPhone parts but we can t get apple parts and the error shouldn t bother how phone operates NOT TRUE!! Bad business

They just broke my husband s cell phone by replacing the battery. When it did not charge after picking it up, he was told, oh, sorry. Here s a refund for the battery. NOPE. NOT RIGHT. I will blow this up until he receives either a new (refurbished phone) or the phone is fixed. This is not right!

I urgently needed a specialized battery on a day that was icy with sub-freezing temperatures. I called ahead to make sure they were open, and the clerk was unexpectedly cheerful for such a miserable holiday week morning. I got to the store and he had my order ready. It was refreshing to encounter someone so pleasant.

Went in to get a battery, they gave me two options that fit. Bought one and went home. It didn't fit. I live in clay city and am never in Lexington, had someone try to return it for me 3 weeks from purchase, and wouldn't do a return after 2 weeks. Now I'm out 80 bucks. For a battery they told me would fit. Was never installed, never used. Amazon here I come.

Audrey at batteries plus on Richmond Road was truly incredible. She was so helpful and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. If you re going to batteries plus, please ask for her!! We are very displeased with the service we received from this store. Our IPhone X had dropped and the screen was not broken but the digitizer/logic board was no longer functional and needed to be replaced. We dropped our phone off with the assurance the problem would be fixed. 200 dollars later they handed us our phone back and said that it was fixed the best they could do, the screen was not fixed. In the upper right hand corner a green light remained. We were apprehensive, but paid for the fix anyways. We didn t make it home before the green light started turning the corner screen black and ultimately the entire phone would not work again. Touchscreen would not work. The replacement parts this company uses are terrible and are not Apple quality. You pay too much for their service to receive terrible quality products. We highly do not recommend this place!

I made an appointment online which was easy and convenient. By doing so, I also received a $10 off coupon which was applied to my purchase. I received prompt and precise service as I had requested and was very pleased with the service I received. I would send all of my friends to batteries plus with no Hesitation.

I went in to buy a key fob battery. Told the man I needed 2 battery's. Ask one to be installed and one to take home for the 2nd remote. He did install my battery . Went and got a card with 2 battery's on it and rang me up for $12.99 for the installed battery and another 12.99 for the other battery's. Well I tried to explain I didn't need 3 battery's. He said that was the way it worked . He was there alone with one customer in front of me and 4 behind me , so just paid and went on .Just wasn't completely happy.I have now vented ...

Only a few places will change watch batteries that aren't from their store. The batteries are a little pricey but it normally takes years before you need another. The one time battery price is 11.99 and lifetime battery is 19.99. I was just happy that they quickly changed my battery of the costume jewelry watch I had from my wedding that I wanted to wear for my anniversary. Super nice employees.

Staff really knows their stuff. I had an issue with my phone battery a while back and when I went in hoping for a stopgap fix, I found myself with several very different options that suited my own ideal as well as what I'm sure would have been more than adequate choices to other lifestyles. They know what they're doing and how to figure out which of many options can work best for your problem if you ask.

The guys at Batteries Plus hooked me up and got my phone working again for a great price, and in around fifteen minutes! It was quick, easy, and cheap. I highly recommend going there if you need phone, watch, or even tablet repairs, and at great prices! Go check 'em out. Oh and a big thanks to Nick from there for helping me out, and repairing my phone.

Won t Choose Batteries+ for a Car Key or Fob in the FutureFirst an email told me the part arrived, it hadn t. I went back and they said the person who s trained to do that wasn t working at that time. I called a few days later and they said they were having software problems. But 2 weeks after I order I finally got the key and fob and they work great.

The staff were fine, however, before ordering online I called and asked about warranty replacement of the battery for my S5 which over the last few days had swollen from 6mm to 8.44mm. I was told that they had no record of my purchase and that the battery was only covered for 6 months; I needed it, so I ordered it online and picked it up. However, online it says the battery is covered for 1 year, not 6 months, and this battery was replaced (without any cost nor paperwork) about 11 months ago when the previous one failed in the same way (although less severely). In both cases, the battery still held a charge normally, but the swelling literally pushed the S5 shell apart -- this time enough to break the phone so that the mic now only works in speakerphone mode. Although Lithium batteries can swell, this generally indicates a manufacturing defect, and I would have expected the battery to replaced at no cost -- I didn't even ask to have damage the battery caused to my phone repaired (the phone is old enough I'll buy a new one now). In sum, I believe you have a dangerously defective product and, as much as it was quick to get and did work for a reasonable period, I don't believe this defect has been handled correctly.

I had ordered the wrong battery and it was no problem at all to exchange it for the correct one. They even held the one for me until I could go and pick it up on Saturday. This store is absolutely great and I will always come back for all my battery needs.

Absolutely seamless online transaction. Spoke to two different staff members regarding pickup and the refund of a core charge both of which were extremely helpful and pleasant. Will most definitely purchase from them in the future.

They installed a new battery in my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+5G. It took 2 hours to get the battery installed, and cost $60. The battery seems to be working fine. It came with a 20% charge. There is free parking but the parking lot is a little small.

Would have been perfect if the website would have indicated that my purchase was not in stock before I went through the process of ordering and paying... but employee did follow up to let me know that bulbs would be available in the next few days. Was called when they came in several days later. Nice experience overall.

Ordered online to save a couple of bucks. They sent a email saying it was in. I went there to pick it up and the gentleman said he would install it for me on a pouring rainy day. What a GREAT business to deal!! The customer service was 100% and they were friendly and helpful.
