I was able to call that morning and get an appointment for that afternoon. Everyone I dealt with was very nice. I had gone to another place in town and they tried to tell me I needed new tie rods. My mechanic friend checked it out and replaced one but said the other was fine. So I wanted to go somewhere else for alignment and my mechanic friend said he trusted these people. They didn t try to sell me anything else and the price was actually cheaper than I expected. And they were very honest. He asked why I was getting an alignment and told me it wasn t off very much. Nice to have a mechanic actually tell you the truth for once.

I will never be back after how I was treated by the rude lady in the front. No business should ever tell a paying customer that they are being difficult when the business did not perform the correct service I went in for and then tried to say I could come back for it and when I paid and said I was done with them and thats when I was told I was being difficult.

My review stands as rated, given this business s proclivity to argue with reviewers in the comments, I am choosing to retain my own privacy as I would rather my service records be kept confidential. I do not recommend any repair services performed by this facility, nor can I in good conscience recommend any of the alternate services they perform.

We took a 2nd car up to them & were overcharged, car put on mileage at the shop, killed my new battery & charged me to recharge it & one tailpipe tip fell off on the way home. Also, this is the second car we have taken to Witty s that came home with a transmission leak that they didn t have when they were taken in.

I want to give a big shout out to the integrity of this business. My daughter took her vehicle to Witty's for a procedure and some mistakes were made. Long story short, Witty's stood behind their word and made a monetary reimbursement that some business's would not have made! We accept that accidents happen and are willing to give grace when those mistakes are handled correctly. They owned the mistake and handled it promptly. I was impressed with their integrity and professionalism that is sometimes rare in todays world. Thank you Witty's for your caring attitude and sense of integrity. That is how you keep people coming back to your business!

I called today to get an alignment on my car and they got me in at 11:00. It took no longer than 25 minutes. Super friendly, affordable, fast and great work! Highly recommend!

Explained to them what the car was doing. We dropped it off. She said it needed both tie rods. $325. Told her to proceed. They put those on and we pick the car up. It's doing exactly what it was when we dropped it off. He called and she told him to bring it back and let the mechanic ride. They done that. They kept it all weekend and finally messaged late Monday afternoon to say it would be another $200. Why? Why should we pay for their screw up. Should have fixed it right the first time for the issue we brought it for. Do they not make sure the issue is fixed before telling the customer the car is done and charging them an outrageous price? We asked that they either put the rods back on and fix the actual issue and no, she wasn't having that. She wouldn't budge. This is THEIR screw up so own up to it. Its sad to be okay with losing business because they made a mistake and wouldn't fix it. It is what it is.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

A family friend recommended this place to us after having a bad experience with a different place in town. First time taking my vehicle here and I was very satisfied with the service. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and patient with us regarding different tire prices. I got 3 tires put on and it only took an hour. I will definitely bring my vehicle here again in the future. They seem knowledge and honest. Thank you Witty s!!

Lady at window on inside seemed nice. But after driving all the way from bowling green to Glasgow on lunch break, the owner then tells me they couldn't do my front end alignment because my jeep had been side swiped on driver's side? Some story I never heard before? They couldn't do it n that jeeps don't need front end alignments? Never heard that before? I was confused about that. Also I asked mechanic could he look at something else I was asking him, n he said the mechanic to look at it was not there, so I left. They didn't even offer an apology for wasting my time. Want be going back again. Too far n wasn't helpful.

Sadly, changing my five star rating to a one star. This business used to be the most reliable and capable auto repair facility in Glasgow, KY. Unfortunately, they seem to have lost many employees from the many empty bays in the garage, and my experience on December 19, 2022 was insulting and unfortunate. I made an appointment to have a tire wear issue diagnosed and repaired before I left state for the holidays in two days. When I arrived I asked them to rotate my tires after they had finished the repair. It took 45 minutes for them to inform me that they were finished. When I asked what the issue was that was repaired, I was informed that they only rotated my tires and I would need to make an appointment for them to perform any further work. This was upsetting, as I couldn't drive far without damaging a tire. The owner/mechanic came from the garage and angrily told me that he didn't have time to even see if I needed an alignment. What are appointments for repair for? The entire exchange was very insulting as the garage owner seemed more angry than I felt. I took my car down the road to Independence where they had gotten an alignment set up one year ago. That's all that was necessary. I am now driving safely thanks to a better shop. Sorry Witty's; I will never come back.IN RESPONSE TO REPLY...I am glad that you replied as it gives me a chance to rebut. When I made the appointment, I informed your booker that I may possibly need a strut replaced (takes much longer than either rotation or alignment and always includes an alignment) and her reply was "it may just need an alignment." I agree with her statement. Also, your booking at the very least mentioned unusual tire wear (I verified this) and no reputable shop rotates the tires and returns the customer to the road to ruin more tires. What is it that you want payment for? Negligence or incompetence? In addition, you can't claim that your alignment bay was booked up, because from 12:30pm to 2:00pm it sat at idle along with the two bays next to it. I know where this bay is since you are the one who performed my prior alignment. I'm assuming that you were misinformed about the reasons for my appointment from the beginning, and I can understand this, but you should be sure that your facts line up with reality before you choose the way that you deal with customer discrepancies, because you lost a loyal customer with this one. In other words, you could have tried to make it right in some way, and been more truthful instead of taking out your frustrations and insulting instead of working things out.

Witty's has done all of our service work for the last 40 years. The first thing I notice about any business is the overall appearance. Witty's is always neat, clean and organized inside and out. David, Marita, Becky and their staff have always gone out of their way to be courteous, friendly and professional. Witty's stands behind their products and service. They are very affordable. Their towing service is always prompt and reliable and they take care of your vehicle.

My husband and I were on our way to vacation. We were already running behind and had issues with our car. We stopped here and they figured out what the problem was (knowing we were on the road) they worked on our car right away, even though they were busy for the day. They fixed the car and were very well priced. Highly reccomend!

Always good ol' fashioned honest to goodness service. Their the only shop and the only mechanics in town i bring my vehicles to. I want to feel save with my daughters riding in my vehicle and i know that after they work on it i have nothing to worry about. Reasonably priced and always fair when doing business. I have no complaints and have heard nothing but positive feedback. Thats what got me through the door the first time and the reason i keep coming back.

Every time I go up there I get GREAT service. Really nice people in the front to help you and explain everything to you. Saved almost 80 bucks on my tires that I wasn t expecting (cause wal mart of course quoted me the highest price.) They also aligned my car when it was rebuilt and I have never had a single problem out of it. I think they are fairly priced when comparing them to any place Bowling Green and no hidden fees or surprises. They ALWAYS ask me before they do anything extra to make sure I am ok with it. I'll never go back ! they kept my vehicle for 2 weeks and 3 days to change a fuel line and filter and fix a ground wire total cost was $1047.50..

On a road trip passing through and something was off with my tires. A mechanic drove my car and determined one of my tires was bad and I needed a new one. I explained I had limited time and they replaced and rotated the tires in about 20 minutes. Very grateful for quick, professional, and friendly service!

My Police Interceptor had a leaky exhaust manifold gasket so I went to them to get an estimate. Without even looking at the car. They said the head would have to be removed to do the work. How do you remove the head off an engine WITHOUT removing the exhaust manifold. I live in Glasgow and immediately decided to never take any of my 5 vehicles to them. Btw, I removed the header and replaced the gasket as well as replaced both front struts and replaced the front suspension upper control arms in less than 10 hours without using a vehicle lift.To clarify their response;What they told me was "The head would have to come off." No mention of "might come off" and no effort to even walk out to the vehicle to see access to the exhaust studs. Yes I remember the visit vividly. I asked at the counter, you got the mechanic to come to the counter and he said "The head would have to come off." So I left and did the job myself without much difficulty. I learned that Witty's is more about charging more labor than actually serving customers with great mechanical skills that is timely and efficient.

Had my Corvette towed from Bowling Green to Glasgow. They charged me an extra $64 on top of what my roadside assistance paid (26 miles? ok, whatever). Then charged me an extra $50 for an "extra equipment fee" for me having my car on dollies (but didn't tell me until I arrived at the dealership). I'm the one who jacked up the car to remove it from the dollies, but I get charged for it. Stupid. This is the same place who tried to tell me I needed a whole new rear end for my 2009 Silverado and it was gonna cost me over $2200.00. After I left this shop, I took it to 2 other shops for other opinions and both shops told me that my rear end was fine. This place is an absolute joke. Such money hungry people. I will NEVER return to this place.

That was great with great attitude but they could share the little extra time before closing to finish it up right way but the next day I had to spend another $450 in Murfreesboro Tennessee to finish it up to get it back to South Carolina but they are great people but it was getting close to quitting time everybody ready to go home but they are awesome people to work on my van
