Edit: I will bump my rating up to a 3 because they called me after the first review to see if they could make it right. It just rubbed me the wrong way when I was sitting on the side of the road for a problem that I left my car at the Dealership for 6 days and was willing to pay Dealer prices for, to make sure it got fixed right. I appreciate the call Took it in for a shudder which they found the problem and fixed. I also wanted them to investigate why my battery light was coming on intermittently. I had to call after six days, to find out that the van was fixed, and they never called to let me know. I asked them about the battery issue and they forgot to look at it. The mechanic cleared the code and the light didn t come on, so they told me they couldn t find the problem. So here I am along side of the road with a dead battery, definitely not towing it back there

I just purchased my 3rd vehicle from there. I highly recommend them. They have good prices and work with you on getting you what you want for what you can afford. I definitely want to brag on my amazing sale lady Mary. I was a little hesitant about buying a vehicle but I needed one and she made it an easy process. Got me something I absolutely love. She was very honest and kind. If you re looking to buy a good car call them up and ask for her. You won t regret it. Also I want to brag on the sales manager Michael. I was talking with Mary on my passed experiences with another salesman and he came out and personally apologized when he didn t even work there at the time. He even thanked me for giving them another chance.

I wont let my kids or grand kids buy a car from here. The sales manager refused to finance any vehicle for me, except a Ford focus that was the same price as the vehicle I wanted, at the time. I told him I did not want a Ford because I have had bad luck with Ford vehicles in the past. Anyways, he financed the focus and it broke down on me in a couple of months and neither gillie hyde or the Ford motor company would do anything about it. The diagnostic report showed that the clutch had been leaking before I bought the car, which caused permanent damage to the transmission. Left my credit mangled and I have 20,000 dollars worth of debt to fix now!

Yesterday I bought my 1st new car from Tyler Smith at Gillie Hyde Auto Group in Glasgow, Ky. I feel compelled to share my experience because individuals like Tyler now days you just don t get to experience. From the moment he began to help me until the close of the day he made me feel completely at ease and if there were issues during the process I never heard or saw a thing only his complete professionalism and easy going spirit. I never felt judged or as if I was being sized up and for me, that meant everything so . Looking to buy a car I would recommend you go and check this amazing sales man at Gillie Hyde in Glasgow, Ky, you will not be disappointed.

We purchased a 2015 Chevvy Cruze from the Glasgow location in 2018. Unfortunately, the car had coolant issues within 6 months. When I called I was told the Cruze has coolant issues and it was to be expected. Then we had to replace the coolant housing once a year since since purchasing the car (total of 4 times). When I called in 2020 to see what we could do, I was informed that the car wasn't under warranty and we'd have to take care of the issue ourselves. Now in 2023, the car is basically a paperweight which we still owed $3000 on. I called to speak with the General Manger to see if there was anything they could do to get us in a different, working car. IE them oaying off the remaining balance, or moving the remaining balance to a new loan. After several attempts going unanswered we ended up going to Gary Force Honda.Gillie Hyde rushed us into a lemon when my husband and I just 22 years old. We used our honeymoon fund to put a down payment on the car. The experience was overwhelming and stressful. We orginally wanted a car that was $15k, but we're sweet talked into a car that costed $18k. It's our fault. We had no experience with purchasing a car.Now at 5 years later, we're out $18,000 dollars with no return investment. However, when we went to Gary Force they listened to our complaints and frustrations. They let us take our time choosing a great car for our family. The difference in our experiences at these two business is staggering. The experience at Gary Force was so wonderful that we ended up purchasing two cars for a decent price.Do not use this company. Especially if you are young and looking for your first car. They do not focus on building relationships with their clients and would rather put you in a car that is unreliable.

Just bought a Jeep Wrangler from here and couldn t have asked for better service! Ended up building what I wanted and ordering it. Les was awesome to work with and made the whole process smooth! Each person I worked with were always nice and explained everything to me.

So far I have only spoken with Gillie Hyde Auto Group over the phone but hope to be coming to see them soon in person! Each person I have connected with so far at their location has been extremely pleasant to speak with and nothing but helpful. They go out of their way to assist me with any and all questions I may have (and trust me, I have a lot!). I will definitely be doing all of my car related business with them from here on out. Thank you guys so much for the time you have spent so far answering my questions and I will be seeing you soon!

The staff and sales team at Gillie Hyde have always been very professional and kind. They were really great explaining how my credit score, current vehicle, and everything would play into the purchase and financing of a new car. Needless to say if and when I am ready to buy again they will be my first choice.

I bought my 2015 Jeep Cherokee in August. Ever since we bought it we have had nothing but trouble. We didn't have it a week until the transmission started slipping, the axel is making a horrible grinding noise and won't pull up hills, AWD don't work, had to put in a new radiator because we broke down on the roadside. Now I can't drive it because it's in the garage broke down waiting for a new axel no one can get. Been three weeks and we are still waiting. Not happy at all. We were guaranteed a great vehicle and paid a huge price for something that has given us trouble since we bought it. We have put more money into this vehicle than its worth. Because we bought as is they won't do anything about it.

A deal was made on a 2018 Grand caravan... It was super clean, great ride and a super star salesman to work with ( Josh ).... Everything was going well until the finance manager made a typo on the price of the vehicle.. At this point my credit was ran, papers were being sign and at that moment we discovered a payment discrepancy.We asked the finance manager to run the numbers again, well after several minutes the finance manager sent our salesman out to do his dirty work and tell us that he was not going to honor the written price... WTH!!!!! Sounds like a SCAMMING CAR LOT!!! Bait and Switch!!! CrOoKeD dealership!!! Josh was an amazing young man!!!!

I bought a used Nissan rogue from them that was less than 10 years old and had 118,000 miles. The transmission failed 4 months after my purchase and they refused any kind of assistance or repair work without paying full price despite the fact that they sold me a car with a failing transmission. Following my repair work I received a text offering to buy my vehicle back for less than I paid for the vehicle and ignoring the brand new transmission. Their sales tactics are tacky and in my opinion unethical. I have just received my third text from their company attempting to buy back or sell me another vehicle. Every individual I've spoken to has been nice and made an effort to take me off of their individual lists, but no one can remove me from the overall contact list. Don't buy from this company.

My husband and I went to Gillie Hyde after failed attempts of find what I was looking for elsewhere. I wish I had started there, the staff was amazing and super helpful. Not pushy at all. Our salesman Kenneth Wilkerson asked what I was looking for and found it. There was no pressure and it deal went smooth. They all pitch in and work as a team. Timothy Berry jumped in to help with paperwork and making sure everything was taken care of. The rest of the team talked to us like they d known us forever. Over all a great experience and will use them again when the time comes.

Sales associates and financial personal were amazing. However I'm not to fond of the mechanics. But a vehicle on the 8th of October, it is not November 5th and my car has been in the shop more than I've had it. I've had to have the transmission replaced( 3 different permant codes showing on scan along with step motor issues), axel replaced( due to missing boot clamp and leakage), and these thing look were all evident to myself after having the vehicle for 24 hours.

They sold me a car with chipping paint and lied to me about the getting a small bumper damage when it didn t and totally NEGLECTED To tell me the transmission was replaced and didn t show me the entire car fax report before selling me this car. I later found out the replacement transmission. I am still paying for and about to be rid of this car. The transmission nearly killed my family me twice when it failed in traffic with no power at all to even though the engine was still running. 2013 rouge. I will never buy another Nissan while their built with the dangerous transmissions there still putting in all their Nissan cars and never dealing with this dealership again.

I bought a 2012 Nissan Rouge in October 2019 with extended warranty. I just had it 2 months. I noticed when I left it didn t have no power. But I never owned a Nissan before so I thought that s how they were. Transmission was out. Catalyst converter out. Transmission control module & it had bent axles. Warranty covered transmission & axles. But Gillie Hyde will not fix these other problems. It s sitting in a shop now. Unable to drive it Has to be towed anywhere till these problems are fixed. I ve told them they sold me a Lemon that they need to make this right. But they will not Because I bought it As Is. But none of this should have happened in 2 months. They are crooks & lied to me. Never buy from them So my payment is due now with a car I can t even drive. This car will be returned even if bank has to repo it. Not paying for a car that want drive. It s 2,000 to fix these problems & who knows what else is wrong with it Very unsatisfactory business not making it right with their customers

Bought a car here four months ago. The windshield wipers stopped working, the check engine light came on almost immediately, the rear window on one side doesn't roll down and the door sensor went on the other side. Don't buy here they are scammers.The sales people never mentioned an extended warranty!

ridiculous low thread tires on my new suv last decemeber. Asked salesman for new tires on twice. Never did and bought new suv and i bought new tires on my suv from other good tires business with great deal. I will never upgrade/trade in any vehicles from that business anymore.

I have bought several vehicles from Gillie Hyde. I always have a great experience. This time, however, I spent over three hours at Gillie Hyde with a sales person and was never shown even a single vehicle. Even after I gave an exact make and model of the car I was interested in. It was tremendously disappointing.

I normally don't take time to give reviews but I feel I need to on this instance. I was pulling my camper and on the way to Barren River from Louisville when my truck broke down. It was on a Friday night and after hours for the service dept. Fortunately I had someone that could pick my camper up and take it to my site. I was able to limp my truck to the Ford dealership and spoke with John Lewis. He was very polite and took my keys and personally made sure that the service department got them first thing Saturday morning. Danny from the service department called me early and informed me of what was needed and the cost. He then made sure it was completed by closing time on Saturday so I could pick it up and able to pull my camper home on Sunday. I am greatful that I broke down where I did and could not have asked for better service.P S -- The truck ran great and pulled the camper home with no issues!

This has been the absolute worst experience of my life. I have never once been patronized, ignored, and mistreated during any customer service experience like I have been here. I m disgusted and I wish there was an option for zero starts at all.My experience with Gillie Hyde began over the phone discussing an even trade between my vehicle and one they had on their lot. We spoke for two days about this deal and I was told that it was completely possible after I informed them I was not at all willing to take out a loan. When I went in to complete the trade, they tried talking me into taking out a loan for a Camaro. I told them repeatedly I did not want to do that until I was surrounded by three men trying to talk me into it all at once. I finally agreed to take out the loan because the Camaro was beautiful and I fell in love with it after driving it. So I take it home (an hour and a half away) and the radio completely shuts off and will not turn back on. Skip forward to now, where I am sitting in their lobby for the third time since buying the car on October 11th, trying to get my radio fixed. I ve driven the hour and a half to Glasgow three time already and sat in their lobby for several hours each time only for them to tell me they cannot fix it, yet again. They refuse to give me a loaner car to drive until they can fix my vehicle so I m assuming I m going to have to bring it back again soon. I have never had such an awful time with any car dealership and reading the other reviews here, I can t imagine anyone else has had a much better time than myself.

Had a tire losing pressure, WalMart service center told me it'd be 3-4 hours before they could even look at it. Called Gillie Hyde service, Matt said bring it in. Had me done in less than 45 minutes. Great job!

Steven Riggs was PHENOMENAL!! After my car blew up, it was time to purchase a new one and he found me the best deal. Better than I expected. Highly recommend him and everyone at Gillie Hyde!!
