Spent the night here after a hard day's work of planting trees on a farm we own. Slept like babies. We stay here all the time for years, so we know that the place has problems. But this time was the worst! My husband likes to sleep in after a hard day so we always put the "Do not disturb " sign on the door. He also likes to get amorous in the morning. Well, we were in that mode when suddenly "KNOCK, KNOCK KNOCK! HOUSEKEEPING!" Totally ruined the morning! Very unprofessional! Check out is 11, and it was only 9:30! Ruined our day!Rooms: Don't expect much

The staff were friendly enough and they were knowledgeable enough to do the job, no problems there. The rooms were a bit of a different story, I nearly walked out the moment I walked in. First the key card didn t work (I found out it was the door handle and not the card), then I was told to lift the handle up instead on down and it works. The walls were patched and not painted and there were other holes in the other areas that were not patched at all. The bathroom tiles were literally taped to the floor, yes, clear packing taped to the floor (and they missed a few). The bed linens had stains on the comforter, not a lot but clearly looked like something has spilled on them and stained it. The pillows were basically like trying to sleep on a cat. Not any old soft feline no, I m referring to those hairless Egyptian cats. Bumpy and obviously been used by 100 s or other people over several years.I m not at all trying to dis this hotel. It s in a nice area and should get a manager who will maintain it and bring it back to what was obviously a nice hotel. It looks like they are catering to truck drivers now and not the regular travelers.

Stayed here with our puppy daisy, this place has great truck parking so its heaven for movers. The beds were an older spring type, but still comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. No evidence of rats or bed bugs in our room and we always check now anyways. It was a quiet night in a safe town.Staff was amazing and super helpful, make sure you stop in and check it out for yourself this place is perfect if your traveling.

Paid extra $20 to have my dog with me, that's about the only highlight. Staff was friendly but this isn't a nice hotel. Mattress was springs from who knows what era, the toilet rocked when you sat on it, just well past it's service life and time for a remodel. The front desk lady was awesome. Would not pay to stay here again.

Absolutely not worth the priceFirst room was dirty, AC broken and smelled, they had a dehumidifier in the room to use and when I turned it on it was SOOO loud. Also had a TV from 1990, one of those big tube TVGot a second room and it at least had a 32 inch flat screen maybe, looked like possibly blood or something on the comforter, black mold in the bathroom, walls have scuffs all over and looks like they just slap putty on the walls to cover stuff up.Also the pool is CLOSED, they never opened it after covid and it doesn't look like they will ever open it again. Don't count on a pool.

This place has been in decline for several years. Internet is very slow, continental breakfast is a joke, pool has been closed for years. Staff is friendly and are aware of the conditions but they know the company they work for is cheap. On the positive side, the showers are nice and the rooms are decent. It's a shame because at one time it was a nice place to stay.

First things first, this is not a chain with big corporate bucks. I came to town for a funeral. I read the reviews and was hesitant to keep the reservation. Let me first say, it's dated. Not horrible by any means, and it was clean and comfortable. It's not the Ritz nor Comfort Suites, but the staff was incredibly friendly, TV was not a flat screen, but had plenty of channels, beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was average but towels were great. There are some cosmetic issues, but if you're in the area, this hotel will do you just fine. Some people posted pics in other reviews to make this place out to be horrible, but good customer service gives them an extra star. We needed to check out late and it was not an issue at all. Super manager. Take a chance, support a local business.

Beaver Dam Inn is a great place to visit! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed linens were crisp and very clean! The breakfast is ready when you wake up, and so delicious! I was thrilled to enjoy biscuits and gravy while I was there! The front desk personel was friendly and helpful. I appreciate the time here. I highly recommend it!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got in my room. I thought, being pretty much in the middle of Sasquatchville it'd be basically a Rat trap, BUT, it's very clean, quiet, very friendly staff. It's probably a locally owned place, could use flat screen TV's. Good clean restrooms, hot showers. I'll keep this one on my list on the go to when in the area.

Ok, it worked. Not the greatest place but it was ok. They smoking on the bottom floor so the lobby has a smoke smell. (If you are a smoker, guess it's great for you) one great thing. The water! Tastes good and the shower was highly pressurized, so we had a wonderful shower.

Nice clean room. Very comfortable beds. Housekeeping staff is great. Fluffy towels, complimentary breakfast very good. Prices not bad considering that they are one of only 2 in the area. Manager has an attitude though. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff and clean property, quiet location but unfortunately not much other positive to say.Room I was in was way over priced and in major need of maintenance, walls had 7 smaller holes not repaired and another larger that was patched but not finished. Both headboards we're loose to a point off falling off with just little push. Wallpaper peeling and all the way around top of tub surround even the drywall was damaged. Mattresses had mattress pad but not full cover to cut down on the possibility of bugs. And alot of people have nvr seen a tube tv, well they have them here, approx 25-27 inch. This place may have been a 4 star rated motel at one time but owners need to put the extra 25$ a room they charge and start fixing and upgrading rooms

Super friendly staff! We came in late after driving 6hrs and they helped us out no problemo! Got us a king bedroom with a microwave and mini-fridge. Yes they do have dated decor and their tvs in the room are old tube tvs but that's OK, most of the time we weren't in the hotel room anyways we were out in morgantown visiting family (only like a 15min drive away from the hotel that's right on 231!) they have a Wendy's that's open until 11pm that's within walking distance and they have continental breakfast in the mornings. I asked for a couple extra pillows and no problem they got them for me, the cleaning lady always made sure that we had more than enough towels and replenished our toiletries daily. They had awesome water pressure in the showers that are big enough to fit two people pretty comfortably, all in all It was a really good experience and for the price it was great for our 3 night 4 day stay!

The pool was not open yet and they didn't do a single thing to it this whole weekend. When I asked for another pillow and blanket the first night the staff was rude. My elderly grandma was very uncomfortable in the beds and couldn't sleep. We asked for a different chair so she could sleep on that and they ignored our request by making up several different excuses. The breakfast didn't have much no sausage, eggs, or fresh fruit except canned peaches. We would not recommend this place and we are not coming back. Also, very dirty.

Well, for starters, the pool closes at 8? What kinda crazy is that? Anyway, I stayed here July 2nd and while the cleaning staff was super nice, I can't say the same for the ladies at the front counter. They were smug and not inviting at all. I paid $80 for a room with sheetrock that had holes and cracks in it and torn wallpaper. Plus, the walls were really dirty, like nobody ever wipes them off and several people's finger and handprints were all over them. The room looked clean as far as beds go, don't get me wrong. But, the whole hotel smelled musty. I didn't bother going for breakfast. The beds were hard as a rock. I don't know if I would ever stay again unless I just had no other choice. Personally, I'd rather stay in Central City at Days inn. At least I know they're clean. P.s I have pics of the walls. ;-)

It's got its ups and downs. Super friendly staff. Beds were clean and comfortable. The pillows were really flat. The pool was clean. It also looks like it needs to be drained and repainted/coated. The bathroom was well scrubbed. No plug to take a bath. The stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck so no water could drain. Skip their 'breakfast' and go a mile down the road to the OC Cafe. Blazing fast wifi. I mean super fast. All their TVs are old crt's at the same time. It's ok. Safe place. With a little love shown by it's owners it could really be very very nice.Very reasonable prices.

Jan. 29, 2019 5:30 pmI just called Beaver Dam hotel to reserve a room for my girlfriend and I and we are a disabled veteran and Multiple Sclerosis disabled person, with our own each certified & registered service animals and we were told by management that we have comfort animals and they were not service animals and that we had to pay $10 per dog per night for us to stay at hotel. We wanted to stay two nights because we have frozen pipes and lack of heat in our rv due to remodeling our home in the area and the cold weather being in the teens.

I stayed here when I got lost in the mountains and have never been so grateful for clean, safe, and comfortable place to sleep for my kids and I! I would stay again for sure and although it was not a Marriott, the price wasn't bad and they even had a simple breakfast too!

For $80 a night I would expect something a little bit more updated the TV made me feel like I was back in the 90s the phone seem to even older there's a bunch of grapes and stuff in the walls everything was discolored but the staff was pretty great super super friendly the breakfast was really good they did it from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. right on the outskirts of town I just feel like for the price it should have been a lot better and if they're going to keep it this way then they need to lower down the price

Rooms are okay but you get what you pay for. Service is friendly and the cost is low. There's not much for amenities. I got everything I expected to receive for the price I paid.Edit: stayed here multiple times over the years. I've been in multiple rooms where the only light that works is the bathroom light and many times the bathroom door won't close all way.

Upon arrival we entered our room to find huge holes in the walls (some repaired with a coat of drywall mud that had not been sanded), holes drilled through the walls that I had to plug with paper towels, the sheets were dirty and had hairs on them, the bathroom door had a fist mark where someone had punched the back of the door, the heat/cool could not be adjusted so we had to get up and turn on heat, then air to keep room temperature bearable. I would never stay there again. Don t waste your $80.00 and take my advice driving to Owensboro may take 45 minutes, but it is better than the hell hole in Beaver Dam.
