If I could give Richard and Mackey Towing more than 5 stars I would. I broke down late Christmas Eve on I-64 traveling to Pennsylvania for the holidays. I didn't know what to do or how I was going to get home. Richard showed up very quickly and took me to a local hotel and took my car to his garage for the night. I was overwhelmed with the situation but Richards generosity and kindness made my Christmas so much better. He woke up on Christmas morning and spent most of the day replacing my alternator so I could get home to my family on Christmas. I couldn't believe the kindness and care being show to me by a stranger. I was able to get home by 8 PM on Christmas all due to Mackey Towing. And he definitely charged me less then he could have especially for it being an emergency on Christmas.If you break down or need help near Ashland, you should definitely call Mackey. Richard lifted my spirits and made my Christmas special. I can't say enough to thank Richard for what he gave me this year.

A deer hit our car around 2:00 am, the owner showed up in minutes after called by the sheriff. We live in Iowa, so we didn t know where to spend the night, he recommended some hotels, drove us there and offered to pick us up in the morning and drive us to a car rental place. Next day, after getting a rented car, he made sure we got our stuffs out of the car and took care of the bill processing directly with the insurance company. Called us later on the day to make sure we made it safe to our destination. Our expectations were exceeded. 5 stars service. Thank you for everything!Service: Car towing

Call this company first for your towing needs! Richard is totally professional and goes above and beyond the call of duty...I needed a rotating truck which was unavailable at the time so he facilitated securing one with another local towing company with my Company and waited until the needed equipment was on its way to my location. He spent hours with when he didn't have to. I can only give him and his company a 5 star rating, but in my book his star rating is as many stars there are in the night sky...Call Richard first!!! The owner is a really good guy. My buddy and I broke down in the middle of a 700 mile drive. He went out of his way to come to the side of the highway and once he seen our donut was flat he drove to a gas station to fill it up and brought it back. Then followed us to Walmart to help us get a new tire. Richard (the owner) did all of this and didn t hardly charge us anything. I definitely recommend his business.

Big Fat 0-1!!! They told us 3 times would be there to help us.... 2 days later still a no-show. Always had excuse, but was irritating us when we needed pulled out of ditch same as everyone else. Don't tell a customer will be there then not show!! I recommend All-Out Recovery on Route 5 in Ashland. Called him once, he showed up 25 minutes later. A 10 out of 10 for All-Out Recovery!!!

The tow driver I dealt with was so rude and aggressive! Came to tow my car and almost scraped the front end over the road while getting it on the rollback. I told him to stop so it didn t get damaged and he almost flipped out. Acted very erratic and dramatic. Dude definitely has some serious issues.

I wanted to start off by thanking Mr. and Mrs. Mackey again for all they did for me to get me back on the road. My car had broken down on a Sunday with rain pouring down, and I was 300 miles away from my home. I made one call to Mackey after sitting on the side of the road for like 30 minutes not knowing what to do since there was no other places open on Sunday, and within 10 minutes of the phone call he was there and helping me get my car on his tow truck and getting us back to his repair shop. He then proceeded to fix the problem that caused my car to break down, and then some!!! While he was fixing my car, in the rain, his wife made coffee and talked with my girlfriend to help pass the time. This is not your average service station or towing company, these people treat you like family and won't put you back on the road unless your vehicle is safe enough for their family!TLDR Mackey's Towing and Transport Services is a great place to be towed to and has to wonderful people working there! If I am ever back in KY and have car troubles, I defiantly know who to call right away!!

My son was traveling from Illinois going back to Quantico Virginia when he had a blowout on the highway the first tow only could get him to the closest Walmart but the tire center people had left for the day because it was so late in the evening.I reached out to this company and they pick my son up from Walmart towed the truck to their shop, put the tire on the and gave my son a spire tire. The customer service is outstanding and my son Lance Corporal King greatly appreciated it!!! Thanks again!!!

Was traveling out of town and locked our keys in the car. We tried to get assistance from Mackey's for a car lock-out. Was treated very rudely and told that service would arrive within 30 minutes. We then waited all night for service and it never arrived. We ended up calling and going through Jack Rabbit for help. They had our car opened and keys retrieved within one hour of calling for help! Would not recommend Mackey's Towing to anyone, ever!

My driveway was used to pull my NEIGHBORS RV out of THEIR yard. The RV was parked parallel with my driveway, about 3ft from it. The neighbors also had a pickup parked nose to nose with the RV. Therefor the RV was pulled sideways into my freshly graveled driveway leaving large ruts. The driver also spun the tow truck tires trying to pull it out leaving more ruts. Was I asked if they could use my driveway? Nope. Did the driver and helper attempt to fix the mess they caused? Nope. That s just completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

If only I could give negative stars. Horrible company with even worse customer service. I wouldn't recommend them to tow a bicycle!!!!!!

Do not let this man work on your vehicle for any reason dont let him tow your vehicle for any reason. He will cheat and scam you for every dollar he can.

They won't give me my truck they won't let me make a pay get off so they can stop charging me and my mom fell and broke her hip she can't go down there in person to do it he don't care
