We had excellent experience with Fry's Nall Service. My car would start sometimes and not start other times. I have almost zero mechanical skills and had no idea what the problem could be. I was dreading the possibility of spending hundreds of dollars to fix it. I had the car towed in, explained the issue to the nice woman working the service desk. The next day I received a call from one of the technicians who explained the problem and then directed me to a nearby business that could supply the needed part. Diagnosis and recommendation - no charge. Thank you Fry!

We have been customers of Fry s Car Care on Nall Ave for several years, and have used them multiple times for a lot of our tire and wheel service. We ve always been really happy, but we had a recent experience that I find very frustrating. We had an issue with one of our tires, and ended up having them replace that tire for us. When the technician mounted the wheel with the newly replaced tire onto the hub of our vehicle, he inadvertently...1. Damaged the wheel speed sensor (disabling the speedometer, ABS, and traction control on our BMW), and2. Cross threading one of the lug nuts and over-torquing all of the lug nuts so much the wheel was practically impossible to remove from the hub, until we used a pry bar to loosen it.When we called to talk to them about it, they were not very receptive to even taking a look at it, and denied culpability all together. After spending an unnecessary amount of money repairing and replacing the parts the technician damaged (something that could ve been avoided by following the proper specs), and should have been addressed as a means of doing the right thing, we have decided that we will no longer be using their services, nor recommending their establishment, unless of course they decide to change their mind and do things right. I wish them well, but they have lost a loyal customer.

We have used Fry for our primary vehicle service (tires, oil change) when we had a problem with our secondary vehicle. Driving on the interstate on a Saturday night when a heater hose let loose. Had the car towed to Fry's on Nall, knowing they would get to it around their other pre-arranged customers. I was surprised when I got a call at 1pm on Monday to say the car was ready. Greatly impressed with the service and the timeliness. Thanks to all of your team.

Terrible customer service. I went in to schedule an appointment and the gentleman at the counter was rude, dismissive and acted put out to schedule the appointment. I scheduled to drop off the next morning, but decided to cancel once I got home because of the encounter. When I called to cancel the lady that answered the phone was equally as rude and hung up without saying goodbye. They clearly have enough business and are not interested in new customers.

Nothing like the peace of mind that comes with using a family owned business. Our car was quickly placed in the shop for service and work was completed as promised by a very qualified and professional technician. I would recommend Fry's to anyone looking for excellent service at a fair price.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Excellent diagnostics and service on a deep rumble/vibration that's been too hard for other shops to figure out. They identified the cause and fixed on the first try, after nearly a year of attempts at other auto repair shops. The repair was completed on time as promised, and just a little bit under the fair-priced estimate they provided up front. This is the 2nd time I've taken my car to Fry's. 1st time was for front-end brakes, tires, alignment and oil change. Like this time, it was completed on time, and just under the original estimate -- which was already a good price, and from a frugal teacher like me that's saying something! Definitely recommend these kind, experienced team.Services: Tires, Brakes

Why can't you give NEGATIVE stars?? I took my BMW in to Fry's for repairs, including replacing door lock actuators, a window regulator and a rear view mirror assembly that cost over $2,000. Everything seemed to work fine after I picked it up ... except my rear view mirror, Fry's purchased the replacement part from Baron BMW. There is a clown nose at the base of the rear view mirror thatworked on the previous part I had on my car. It lit up when the car was locked. It did not light up on the replacement part Fry's installed. Fry's was stumped when I talked to them about it. I believe, initially, they wanted to work it out, since I had spent so much on repairs and used the other Fry's location to replace a starter. We had a lot ofback-and-forth regarding the function of the clown nose light (lots of talk about the possibility of an alarm, etc.) and why the replacement part did not light up. Finally, after many exchanges with Fry's, I received a strange call from the tall older front-office guy who I'd been discussing the issue with forthe previous couple of weeks. He told me he was the only one in the office and could not speak to me unless there was no one else in the office. Said he'd call me back later, which he did. He called me at around 4:15pm that day and let me know that the light could not have worked before I brought it in, so it shouldn't work now. He danced all around the issue and finally told me that Fry's was going to do nothing to remedy the issue, because they didn't believe there ever was one. He kept talking but I cut him off after several minutes of discussion going nowhere and told him that if that was Fry's stance, then I didn't think we had anything else to talk about. "Fine!" He said sarcastically and hung up (I think?) because itgot immediately quiet on the other end. There was no further communication with Fry's after that. That was at 4:30pm. At 6:58pm that same day, I arrived at Fry's to pick up my car. It was sitting in front of a bay or two down from the office, engine running, with the driver's door wide open. I was stunned. Had it been like that since I got off the phone with Fry's front office guy at 4:30pm?? When leaving the lot, I glanced over at the office and saw the white haired guy that either owns or manages the store standing in the doorway. He had a smug look on his face, appearing to feel quite proud of himself thathe bullied a woman by leaving her engine running and driver's door wide open ... for God knows how long ... to convey a very clear message! Subsequently, I took my car into Baron BMW and they immediately noted that the light was defective. They told me all Fry's had to do was let them know the part was defective and Baron would have sent Fry's a replacement. All that animosity from Fry's over a part they could have easily replacedwith no additional cost to them. Needless to say, I WOULD NOT recommend Fry's Car Care.

Great experience! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes for a tire repair - slow leak - on a Saturday afternoon. I have had other repairs done there, and have purchased full sets of tires. Fry's are consistent with their great service.

They do good work, for the most part. The guys at the counter are knowledgeable and honest. Had them do a timing belt and water pump in my old Celica and had them put tires on my IS300. Had to take the Lexus back twice because my brand new tires kept leaking out the bead... But they were nice about it and fixed it free at least

I understand that some other reviewers have had problems here, but then again it is impossible for a mechanic to please everyone. I first started using Fry's because it is within walking distance from my house. They are reliable and helpful to me. Their prices always seem lower than the Firestone up the street, mainly because Fry's reccomends less expensive repairs than their neighbors. I have come to trust Fry's management staff for their auto knowledge and advice. Man, it is really important to have a decent mechanic!

We recently took our vehicle in for new brake fluid. They told us our rotors and brake pads needed replacement. After spending over $1,000.00 dollars now our brakes squeak, the brake pedal squeaks and our vehicle wobbles at 60 mph and over. When we called they told us to bring it in. They ended up trying to charge us another $250.00 for a brake line that cost $29.99 online. After discussion they charged us $79.99 for the part and our vehicle still has all the same issues. We also have a friend who recently took their vehicle into Fry s and our now experiencing more problems than before. Something is very fishy.

ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!I took my car there because I was hearing some noise in the suspension. I paid to have them check it out and received a very bad report stating that the car needed about $1500 of work and was not safe to drive! However, I wanted to get a second opinion so I took the car down the road to Midas (even though Fry warned me not to drive the car) to get an oil change and have them review the report I just received.Fry had said that my brakes were down to the medal, Midas said my brakes were perfectly fine. Midas confirmed that I needed a new left wheel bearing but said that the car was totally safe to drive...just, when I hear the grinding noise getting worse that I should bring it back in to get fixed.I understand that Fry gave a very alarming report probably to cover themselves from liability. But I don't think that it was honest. I have been driving the car for over 3 months now without making ANY of the $1500 worth of repairs that Fry said HAD to be done and it has been fine. I plan to get the wheel bearing replaced (not from Fry!) as soon as I hear the noise getting louder.

The guys at Fry's always treat me so well. I'm a young, single female who knows very little about cars, so it's such a relief knowing that dependable, trustworthy mechanics exist. While other shops (usually chains) have tried to upsell me and take advantage of my lack of car knowledge, Fry's has been honest and upfront with me about what's essential and what isn't. Additionally, I've never felt patronized; everyone who works here is kind, professional, and friendly. On more than one occasion mechanics at Fry's have gone the extra mile to assist me free of charge. I think that's a huge advantage of supporting locally-owned, family-run businesses. I always recommend them to my friends and family!

RIP OFF!We have been customers of Fry s Car Care on Nall Ave for several years, no more. My wife took our SUV to Fry's to get the A/C fixed. After $107 it still was not working properly. They then wanted to charge her $1700 to do more work. I opted for a second opinion and learned that the problem was an $8 relay. When I told the "2nd opinion" mechanic about being charged $107 he laughed and said I got ripped off. I went back to Fry's to try and explain the situation, hoping to find some common ground and get part of my money back they were very rude and said NO!Fry's does NOT troubleshoot, they just replace parts (at your expense) until the problem is fixed. Once they have your car, you're at their mercy.I know this because our family has 4 cars, and has lived within a mile of Fry s for 20 years. Over that 20 years our family has given them plenty of business. I hope that $107 they stole from me was worth it because our family will not be going back.Good luck!

I called in about getting two front tires replaced, I told him the vehicle and then he proceeded to tell me that it always drove in four-wheel drive and I would have to replace all four tires when I know for a fact there's a switch next to the driver's seat where I have to manually switch it into four-wheel drive. He then tried to quote me at $740 for all tires all the way around plus another 70 to break off any rusted lug nuts that I had 3 of, so the total would have come to $950.I called country Hill Motors Repair Shop and got a quote for $240.00 flat installed and no grief about all 4 tires needing replaced or a lie that it always runs in 4 wheel drive.

I had my transmission service done here, along with an oil change and tire rotation. I live in Vail Colorado so this service is about $700 there. Fry did all this for $300 if I recall correctly. The work was completed on time and are great people to work with on top of that. Thank you!Services: Transmission, Oil changeServices: Transmission, Oil change

I visited the 95th and Nall location yesterday with a slow leak in one of my tires. Needless to say, I did not have a lot of time to mess with something so minor, so I made an appointment with Fry's and upon arriving it was apparent they were busy. I asked "Caleb" if they were behind and that I could come back later, he dropped everything and helped me out and patched my tire in no time. I must say that I was VERY impressed with "Caleb" and would not hesitate to recommend Fry's to anyone!

A trustworthy auto shop. I bought my tires through Fry's a year and a half ago, and have since returned numerous times for their complimentary tire rotation. After being frustrated with the lack of attention to detail found at my dealership, I have started taking my vehicle to Fry's for oil changes and other maintenance as well.

First of all if I was able to give zero stars I would have. Second, I have been a happy return customer of Fry s for a while, until now.Just had work done; a mass air flow meter, fuel filter and injectors cleaned for well over $700. Got to thinking seemed high. Googled the process of replacing the meter, a 5-10 minute job or about as complex as replacing the air filter. Fry charged $194 to test and replace, charged $225 for the meter. Called Auto Zone and an OEM part was $82. By the way, Auto Zone would have hooked up their computer for free to read the error code. Called another auto repair shop, they normally charge $115 to test and replace the meter. Didn t check pricing on the fuel and injectors. Based on the mass air meter speculate those are overpriced as well.Bottom line, I m not a return customer any longer. Disappointing!Jeff JohnsonFollow-up. To Jeff G. Got your message about wanting "to chat" about our actual review that was sent to this website. You can call me if you are willing "to chat" about how much you are going to refund us from the over pricing of the mass air flow meter and the labor to put it on. If I don't hear back from you then our "chat" would have likely been your excuses why you charged $724.00. Jeff JohnsonFinal follow-up. Never got the phone call "to chat" about refunding. No surprise!! JJ

I am Cayleigh's mom and had a leaking tire that Fry's helped me with on a moments' notice. Salesman was very kind and helpful; but most importantly KNOWLEDGABLE about his products. Today I am buying 4 tires from Fry and JAHI was equally professional and most helpful. Pricing is best in town! I highly recommend Fry Car Care and I will let you know how today's experience turns out.

I am not mechanically inclined, and I have learned to appreciate how well the folks at Fry's Nall Ave location talk to allow me to understand what they are telling me. I also always appreciate the timely work they do and have developed a great deal of trust in Fry Auto Care.

I bought a battery from Fry's a couple of years ago. When my car began to start slow, I took it back to have the battery checked. They said it was the starter and quoted me $800 for a new starter. I took it to the dealer and found that it was not only a bad battery but it was the wrong battery. Correct battery from dealer and car starts perfect every time. I finally learned my lesson. All auto problems go back to the dealer even if it is just the battery. I have too many problems with independent shops and franchises.

Took my Jeep into here for a brake job and after $1200 my brakes are shaky and now my Jeep is out of alignment. When I brought this to their attention they told me that s how all jeeps drive on the highway These people are inept and a danger. Save your money and go to a real mechanic.

For some reason Fry's completely bloked their parking lot for the through traffic even the West part of It along Nall Ave. Which causes an additional problems to get around including to the other businesses located at this part of the street. Such an action is complete disrespect to O.P. residents. BTW, looks like they are NOT busy at all, their parking lot as well as every single box are completely empty. So, what was the reason for such an action?

They were friendly, timely and reasonably priced! Made an appointment for an oil change a couple days in advance - was in and out in under 30 minutes, great service. This will be my new auto shop.
