Never again. They took advantage of me. I priced it out at other places. $200 less everywhere else do not go here. I thought I could trust them. Apparently I was wrong, I will never make that mistake again. Places like this give other auto shops a bad name.

Amazing experience. Needed 2 used tires for my truck, and I came out with 2 almost new tires for less than the price of 1 brand new! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and had great customer service skills! I WILL be back and recommend highly!

Customer service like you used to be able to expect from a tire shop. Smells like grease and smoke... Just like a good tire shop should. They got me in for a quick flat repair when everyone else was telling me tomorrow or wait and we might get to it.

I have been going here for many year's. My oldest daughter she is who turned my attention to get my tires replaced here. Like I said I've been going back every single time I buy a new car or different car I leave my Wheels tires in there hands. Plus I've always liked people who are just people like myself. Sorry didn't have pictures of my tires. But this is for the lady who has a daughter named Bee!

Amazingly refreshing customer care. For the minutes I was there getting a tire replaced, I witnessed customers in front of me have their own perceived problem explained which ultimately led to them not spending a cent in a situation that I m sure many other shops would ve used as an opportunity to stack a big bill together. This place is practically a throwback to a time of just plain good customer relations and letting the work do the advertising. I ll DEFINITELY be back and wholeheartedly recommend!

I prefer a small mom and pop type service business. It feels like I get better SERVICE. Ray is great. Be patient and he will take his time and give you his full attention. He my not be the cheapest every time but i feel like he definitely gives me a fair price. Unlike the big tire companies I've been to.

I can't tell you how greatful I am to have found a locally owned mechanic that does quality work without gouging the prices. I called 10 different places to get my breaks done today. And each of them quoted a price that was 200% higher then tire City. No matter what you need done, call Tire City first.

Ray at Tire City took great care of me again. He is always so nice and I got in and out timely for a free tire rotate/balance. He sold me the tires awhile back, too. Wish I would have remembered they did oil changes too as I paid dearly for the one I got elsewhere. It was a long morning and was glad they got me fixed up! Thanks guys!

Busy shop. I just needed my tire pressure checked. Ray explained the process, who they had as priority and I was out in less that 20 minutes. The gentleman who serviced my tires advised me of the proper PSI and sent me off with blessings. Would recomend.

I had an incident in Olathe in my 2019 Chevrolet Cruze, and had the car towed to Tire City, and Ray was on top of it, at the time of the incident, it wasn't able to be fixed that evening, but he said the following day it could be done, got a motel room for the night and went back the next day, and Ray along with his Tech got it in and done as soon as they could, and did an exceptional job. Ray was very down to earth, and a fun guy to visit with. If I'm ever in Olathe again and need anything car related, Tire City will be my go to place.

I loved my experience today. They were very helpful, quick, and were able to help me right away. I will definitely support this local business for my tire needs.

Ray has been our guy we have trusted for years. We have three kids that drive and all cars go to Tire City for service. Just recently though, we took our van to the dealership where we bought it to get an estimate when the air conditioner broke down. We were given a ridiculous $4,200 estimate. We just paid for the analysis fee and immediately brought it over to Ray and Tire City like we should have in the first place. They were scratching their heads over the crazy estimate we were given. We walked out with only paying $183 for a recharge of our air conditioner. It's working great. You can trust them to be honest with you. Highly recommend.

Honest, fast, and inexpensive. Despite the negative Google reviews, I gave them a chance because I was desperate to get in somewhere. I needed used tires and fast. I told them what I needed and they didn't try to upsell me on anything else(I hate when they do that!). Installation was cheap too! I was charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone. Free coffee and a separate waiting room for get as comfortable as you can while you wait. I was even offered the remote to watch whatever I want, which nobody ever does. Customer service was awesome all around. Strongly urge you to ignore negative reviews and give them a try anyway! I know I'll definitely be returning!

Good automotive service and reasonable prices. Ray has been my guy for a long time. He will give you your options on how to fix things and is trustworthy in not giving you the runaround. You have got to be there earlier than later. They don t take appointments and if you go earlier in the day, you ll be waiting a long time which can be irritating.

I needed two use tires put on my all-wheel-drive enclave so that they would be worn the same amount as the other two tires. The ones I had were very worn on the outside. My husband talked to the store about availability of tires. We were able to purchase two Michelin tires that were worn very evenly to the tread depth that we needed. The service man was very nice to show me the tires and let me check them out before he Installed them. I believe I was only there 20 to 25 minutes total without an appointment. They were very nice. They had a waiting room with a drink machine, tv and fake fire heater that was running because it was so cold out. I would purchase used tires from here again. Well they can t have a warranty for the tires or tire service due to the fact that they re used, He did say that if anything happened in the next few weeks to a month to let them know. I feel they would back a bad tire if installed.

Good, honest folks. Got a good quality tire to replace a blowout - price very reasonable. Watching owners interactions with his staff and customers shows he cares about helping people - kind to everyone.

Took my tires there to get changed over with my rims said it was going to take an hour took 2 hours and then when I left my tire started wobbling I called the man he claims it's a flat tire really it was three lug nuts on my driver tire were loose I could take them off with my hands and then on my two rear tires to lug nuts were also loose that I could unscrew my hands and then he attempted to ask me to drive my car back. If I would have got on the highway I probably would have lost my life as well as my children worst experience ever

Please do not frequent this establishment. I have been going here close to 20 years and while the service has always been sub par, the tires were always on point. Recently that went south, deep south. I went in to get a price on 2 used tires, Ray was so excited about getting me into the pair he had that I went ahead and had him put them on. Site unseen, because I had been here so many times, been treated fairly, didn't think I needed to question it. Over 2 hours later, I was on my way out, tired, but satisfied. 3 weeks later, I have a flat, on one of my new used tires. It was a Sunday, Tire City was closed, I had a repair kit, went to do it myself. I get the wheel off and inspect the tire. To my dismay, the tire was dry rotted all through the treads. There was more than one hole, and a plug almost in the sidewall (see pictures) any other shop would not plug there, and most definitely not sell a tire this way. The tires were made in 2006 (it is now 2017 almost 2018). I went back to Tire City, at very least expecting to have what I paid put towards some new tires. Not only did that not happen, I was going to be charged for the used tires he spent 15 minutes not finding. The entire 20 minutes I spent pleading with Ray to make this right, his boss, the owner, was sitting 6 feet away, quietly ignoring the entire situation. Not only am I disappointed, I am scared for the people that won't be as lucky as I was in finding this issue before a blow out on the highway. Once again, I plead, stop frequenting this establishment.

I usually do most of the work on my cars however I don't have a way to mount/balance tires. I always go to Ray at Tire City for my tire needs. Great selection of used tires and very reasonable prices. Ray is always very friendly and makes sure you understand what you're getting before you pay.

Went shopping around town for last minute tires for my Mazda CX-7. Walmart said they wouldn't put on a 215/65R17. Tires Plus said they couldn't get me in for 2 days. Firestone didn't have any available and couldn't get me in for another 2 days. Came to Tire City just to get a couple used tires to get me by and they had 4 brand new Hanook tires right off the shelf. Got me in and out with an oil change too in about an hour! Good honest people. They truly know how to do business and keep customers coming back.

I paid 26 dollars a tire to mount and balance .was getting a crazy vibration so I went to Lonnie's tires in Independence and they fixed it! Front tires where not even balanced, the rear tires where counter balanced in 4 different spots .I waited 2 hours .Only had 2 techs that where not motivated to work.

These people are honest and they do great work. They have great prices and they do much more than just put tires on your vehicle. I got ripped off by Big O Tires and then came here and they took care of me.

All we came for was to patch a hole at a tire. They did that. However they decided to refill all the tires with air and they filled the tires 5 PSI over the recommended Max PSI. They also forgot to put two lug nuts back on. If you want to have a blowout on the highway by all means go to this place.

If you love your car I strongly recommend that you DO NOT go to this shop. I called them to make sure they had the tire I needed installed and the guy in the front said yes. So I took my car in for 4 wheels alignment and 1 tire replacement. They told me it would be ready in about 3-4 hours and I would get a call when it s ready. 6 hours later no call so I went back to check what was taking so long. When I got there my car was ready and sitting in the parking lot but I didn t make a big deal out of it because I thought well maybe they just got done working on it Problem is they only did a 2 tire alignment and replaced my tire with a wrong size tire( now if you drive a 4 wheel drive car you know the damages that may be caused by not having similar size tires). And to top it off there were cigarette buds on my floor mats. Save yourself the stress and go get your repairs somewhere else. I d give them 0 stars if it was possible.

I've been to them with 3 different cars over the past decade (2 Jeeps and a Cobra). They've always taken care of me and I've been satisfied with the new and used tires. One of the most affordable tire places as well.

Ray (owner) and his staff are top-knotch in providing professional service and consultation. I was a bit skeptic, based on some of the reviews I read. I had a need for a variety of services (and I m picky): 4 brand new tires, air conditioning repair, water pump leak assessment, and tire pressure monitors. Ray was patient and kind, though he demonstrated his high quality standards during our discussions prior to the the work processes completion. He made good on his promises of completing the work on Saturday within 4 1/2 hours. He also explained everything that was done on my car, and answered all questions. He also saved my $300-$500 off of the initial estimate! I am very pleased and excited to tell everyone about my pleasant car experience with Ray and his Tire City business in Olathe, KS. I absolutely recommend Tire City!

That should be a negative 5 emptor stars not only is this by far the worst place to buy tires. Worst tires but the owner is a thief I'd never say that but I have proof in writing. I called back 2 months now to get tire on the wife's car was told get me right in. I was strung along for three hours. Finally got the car and they had broken the center bearing caps and we all know how and why that happens DGAF. I DRIVE THREE MILES and take the car back they are so out of balance. Plus I was sold extended warranty. 6 hours later and a 150% over quote. 3 days later I see a huge knot on the side wall. Before I was told how great their warranty is now its has to be sent in and how it gets pro rated and deduct 50% first and how it'll take weeks to get to the tire and he'll be ( HERE IT COMES) HE'LL MAIL A CHECK FOR 10 MAYBE 11 BUCKS! FOR A 145 $ TIRE. Haha laughs on me right buddy. Here's the kicker I went back in just to verify that he was full of it. As I expected it took 13 minutes before he finally admitted knowing anything about it. Then 1 second later ,he had check its status just the day before. I'll tell you this in 40 years worked all over the country I've only seen a more blatant crook once and that was Kentucky and I had out of state tags. But someone in this town. Expect more to come.
