Awesome! They got it fixed!I have been having electrical problems with my 99 Chevy Silverado for the last three years. It had a draw on the battery. Headlights would come on randomly and in the middle of the night running the battery down. I have spent several thousand dollars having had other mechanics work on it trying to solve this, throwing parts at it, but never actually fixing the problem.A big Thank You to everyone at Smith Specialty Auto. They did a Fantastic job!

My long term relationship with Cody and his crew at Howard Automotive has been excellent. Dependable, fair and knowlegible service has provided me and my families transportation needs for over 15 years.Would not go anywhere else. I was having issues with my Jeep not starting over a couple of weeks, and went to Smiths on a recommendation from my local garage. I reported to them I thought there was an issue with the ECM, however after they finally checked out my vehicle, they came back with the speedometer cluster needing to be replaced. When I asked how that would cause a starting issue, they told me they didn t have any issues starting it. I picked it up, took it to the Jeep dealer, they reset the ECM and it was fine. Smiths would have charged me almost $2K for a non-existent issue.

Smith Auto does a great job! my older suv needed repairs and they did the job perfectly. Easy to work with and always updating the customer what they are doing.

Only complaint may not even be a valid one. But this may be the first time I ever replaced all four tires with new, and a 4 wheel alignment was not done. I know your mechanic test drove it and felt the alignment was good, and I also feel it feels good, but would hate to have four new tire not wear well due to wrong human judgement. I am not really upset, just a bit warry. I was t6hinking this was part of the planned work. Will hope all goes well.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

I had work done on my 2005 Honda Accord. Wheel bearings and power steering pump. I waited for a few much to measure the quality of the pump and bearings and the integrity of the work. The bearing noise has returned and the pump makes noise on start up. I went to this shop because the owner goes to my son's church. I am not certain why I am having these problems in relatively short period of time but this shop would not be on my top ten list. Maybe I was the wrong color or went to the wrong church or live in the wrong neighborhood or that is to be expected if someone brings his or her automobile in for repairs.

I've been going to Smith Automotive for several years. The cost of repairs and maintenance has always seemed reasonable to me. The waiting area is nice, clean and comfortable. While unfortunately I had to get many things done on my car, and unfortunately the economy makes things very expensive; Smith Specialty Automotive provided great service for an appropriate price. They answered the many questions I had, showed me the behind the scenes of how they recommend things to be done on the car, and tell you honestly if you need something or not. They provided a loaner car free of cost which absolutely blessed me and allowed me to get to work hassle free without having worry about my repair job that would take a few days. Definitely gained my trust and recommendation.

Did a great job from initial estimate to getting us in and out timely. They even offered to give a ride if needed. All their work comes with a 24 month/24,000 warranty, which is great! I'm new to the area and needed an urgent car repair. I chose Smith Specialty Automotive because of the high ratings and the proximity to my house. Jordan is a legit nice guy with a sense of humor, provides stellar customer service and had me back in my car in about 2 days. He followed up with a text a few days later to make sure all was well with the repair. Save yourself time and take your business here. You won't regret it!

I have always been very pleased with any work we have done on our vehicles when taking them to Smith Specialty Automotive. They treat the automobiles they work on as though they were their own, meticulous with the care given to our vehicles. I really appreciate the honesty from Jordan as well as Dave for any questions that might arise. This place is outstanding. We found them to repair my 92 year old moms car and they delivered the car to her. The provided photos for diagnostics and the bill was WAY lower than the dealership. I used them again for my car (second time in a month) and they were so honest that the labor took less time, that my price was $60 less than the quote. I mean, who does business like this anymore, NO ONE but this place.!!!! They followed up with a personal text to see how I felt about the work. Let me say this every now and then you have the fortune of meeting what I call road angels. Your people are the absolute best. Bar none. We were so grateful and so thankful to come across your place. You could not have a better staff than Michael and Ken. Those two guys were fantastic. Ironically Ken has the 1999 Dodge and he was going to replace his part that my truck failed on the hydraulic cable connected to the clutch. They knew exactly what to do the part was on the order we got out by 2:00 in the afternoon and ended up down here in Springfield Missouri. We thank our lucky stars that we had the fortune to come into your garage or service center or whatever is the best way to call it or heaven sent service center. We love you guys and we are so thankful to have had the situation happen where it happened. It was so smooth and easy that we sat there and had a picnic lunch in the shade of the building across the street. I can't say enough to be grateful enough. I owe going online and making good comments. Or you can take this and copy and paste it in. Again thank you so very much. I had a specialty install on my Jeep. I was new to the area and went several places, before someone finally suggested I try Smith Specialty Automotive. From that day to this, I never go anywhere else. Always friendly and courteous; Jordan, Michael, Dave and the entire crew are wonderful. They schedule me at a time of my convenience when I need regular maintenance (and send me reminders if I forget). They have been extremely honest with me and are very reasonable, always discussing price with me before performing any work. No surprises. I am so grateful to have found smith specialty automotive. After 2 years of being taken advantage of by a dodge dealership and truck still having several problems, I heard about Smith specialty automotive and decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed one bit. Not only did they quote me a more reasonable price for my repairs than the dealership, they were very quick with the repairs and my truck is running better than when I first bought it! . So Glad to know there are still honest mechanics out there who provide quality work and service. Thank you to Mike and the crew at Smith specialty automotive for all your hardwork!!

This is the only place to which I ever take my Jeep. They always get me in quickly and get me out timely. I don t think I ve ever had an issue which they could not handle and they always discuss prices before attempting any work No surprises. The entire team is very professional and knowledgeable. Quality work, easy scheduling, and fair prices. Car had an oil leak, I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up before the end of the work day. Jordan was helpful and followed up with me to ensure he had done things right, which he did. This is a no nonsense, trustworthy shop that I will be returning to for future repairs and maintenance.

Gave 3 stars because it's taken days (almost a week) and nothing has been done except a reparking convenient to them. Granted, they are very professional, and come highly recommend but the time frame is brutal. I need my car back. Luckily I have a backup. I feel for those that don't, what are they to do? Anyway, I'll give a heads up/ update when all is said and done. (Brand new springs, front & rear sway bars, 2 little traction bars, and a tire balance. Almost a week and nothing? Crazy. And it's going to cost $1000's when it's said and done. I do have faith in them so far due to the 'hype' & reviews, and personal friend who's been there. So.... we'll see what happens. I'd like to give them money if the job would get done, soon.
