All around amazing service! I received a very reasonable quote, and was able to drop off my vehicle on a short time frame. There were pictures and notes from a full inspection, and fantastic customer service with any questions I had. Will definitely be back here for any other auto needs!

I had an appointment for 8:30 and received no update by 3:15, so I called myself to see what was going on. I found out they hadn't even gotten to my car yet and that they'd look at it soon. I got a diagnostic report and call at 4:15 essentially saying nothing looked wrong, the code sensor maybe just went off unnecessarily, and that I could pick up my car. I arrived before closing time only to see everything was locked up and everyone was gone. It would have been nice to know they were closing early before driving down to pick up my car. When I asked the next day about their hours and closing early, they claimed it was just a hair early...not quite. Then I look at the bill and I was charged for an hour and a half of diagnostic testing. If the 1.5 hours of testing wasn't needed, why am I being charged for the time then? All around this was just poor customer service. My appointment time was massively delayed and no one even told me this when I dropped it off. And then to pay for labor that wasn't spent looking at my car seems dishonest. I was hoping we had found a trustworthy place to take our vehicles to, but we won't be back.

Olathe Auto Clinic has always done good, honest work for me. I recently took my car in because something in my exhaust was rattling. They replaced the exhaust shields, but that didn't make the rattling stop. I called and told them and brought my car back the following day. They found the source of the rattling and fixed it at no charge. I really appreciate them doing that. I highly encourage anyone who is having car trouble to take their vehicles to Olathe Auto Clinic.

I went in or a battery replacement and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday when I gave them a short notice. I was in and out in 30 minutes or less. Very honest and did not try and upcharge me for anything. Friendly staff as well.

I'm so glad I came here! Another place was trying to charge me twice the price for the same job. They also got the work done fast. Super impressed with the ease of scheduling an appointment online that works for my schedule, followed by a text from the company confirming this appointment. Arrived and was greeted with an explanation of what they were going to do and a basic estimate. They pulled my car right it, diagnosed the issue, and were fair in their pricing. I'm very happy I have found this place and will be a loyal customer for further maintenance and repairs needed. Thank you!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Absolutely floored with the service they provided for me. About 3 1/2 weeks ago I had an old "friend" replace the power steering pump in my vehicle, after it was replaced the steering issues i was having were still occurring so I decided to have Olathe Auto Clinic run a diagnostic. Turns out that my "friend" didn't do the repair correctly and I now had to have the same part replaced again. After hearing that diagnosis I was a little shocked, I just had it replaced how could it be the same part? They explained everything to me without any confusion and they even went back to look at it a second time to make sure that was the issue. Upon further examination it was still in fact the part I just replaced so I decided to just have it repaired again. They didn't charge me for this diagnostic and I had seen online it was going to cost me about $40. I was super happy with that aspect alone, but what really did it for me was that when they finished fixing my car, they ended up having to replace more than the one part, and I wasn't charged an arm and a leg for extra labor and parts. Extremely reasonable pricing for the work they do. This was my first visit to their shop and it was immaculate, my car drives significantly better than it ever did before and I have never been happier with the work that was done on my vehicle. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for all your needs. I definitely will be coming back!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Really disappointing, I got an alignment done on my vehicle after new tires back in March of 2023 and here I am getting new tires again because the alignment was never actually performed and my tires are bald.

This shop was recommended to me by auto zone when my check engine light came on. I'm very happy and satisfied with the work they did on my car. The engine feels like it's brand new again and I will be returning for any future work my car will need. Fair pricing and great customer service. They even checked up on my car and I with a text the next day which was totally unexpected!

Definitely has my business moving forward. Olathe Auto Clinic was a referral from Discount Tires for an Alignment after getting new tires. I called them to find out the price on an oil change and not only were they $10+ cheaper than the dealership I bought my SUV from but they were able to service me that day instead of having to wait several days. And, I was in and out in about an hour. Seems like a very honest place to do business with!

I've used this shop for several Costly repairs. The latest, an engine installation could have been better. No good QA check in place. They gave it back to me with... 1. NOAC charge 2. NO Cruise Control, 3. Check Engine Light. Returned it twice for several days at a time to fix 1 and 3. Assured me that 2 was caused by 3. But when I got it back, cruise control still didn't work. I opened the hood looked at the the CC cable, and found the retaining nut off and sitting at the bottom of the cable loop. I put the cable back in the bracket, tightened the nut, and FIXED THE CRUISE CONTROL MYSELF. I appreciate the veterans discount but the service dropped the ball and never recovered even after having the car on 3 separate occasions.

Excellent service as always. Bought a car that I feared had a major problem that only turned out to be minor. They can repair all makes and models. I was in and out in no time. Their European specialist has a wealth of knowledge on German cars and knew exactly what the problem was. Thanks guys. U guys earned another loyal customer.Im changing my score on this too. They did good with this one instance but after one of my friends got screwed over here with a bogus estimate for his SUV I'm out on this. U people I'm sure know who he is. Call him and give him his money back unelss U want a lawsuit.

Been coming here for years, I trust them completely. I can't remember his name (gentleman with the cool accent) but I'll never forget the first time I sat in the waiting area, he came in like a doctor would give test results, good bedside manner and all. Told me exactly what the problem was and what it would cost. When it came time to pay my bill was $100 less than his quote. Just recently I had hub bearings replaced and after one failed in 3 months I took it back and they fixed it in 2 hours at no cost, 2 days earlier than I expected. Stellar service, stellar team, stellar results. I can't recommend them enough. I'm getting so much out of my little Kia, more than I would ever have without them. Thank you Olathe Auto Clinic, you are truly doing honest work.

Originally I had an appointment on a Thursday afternoon for an alignment after having new tires installed on my car turned out they weren t able to do the alignment as both driver and passenger inner & putter tie rods needed to be replaced. They didn t charge me anything for that part even though they had the car on the lift and removed tires and other parts. Went forward with all the repairs needed and they had everything done and me back in my car Friday afternoon. Now I definitely buy have a much smoother ride. I appreciate the quick work their crew made of the job and especially the fair and honest service that's rare to find these days in auto shops.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

*UPDATE* The shop's supervisor/owner?, Terry, called to apologize shortly after I wrote the review below and asked if I would bring my car back in to see if they could help. He worked on it personally and found/repaired the problem for under $100! I wish I could have thanked him in person. So, it appears many issues with this shop went away with the previous manager. I now recommend this business for your auto needs!---------------------------------------------------------------------------I called and talked to Marcus (I'm told he's the manager) about getting my taillights fixed. I thought this was a complicated problem because my car was in the dealership earlier in the month and they couldn't figure it out. I explained that the problem was they only go out at night or when it's overcast, and the dealership staff never seen them not working. I replaced the left taillight assembly which didn't solve the problem. He assured me he's most likely able to fix it. Luckily (I thought) it was raining when I brought it in. I insisted Marcus come out and see for himself despite his hesitance. He said he should be able to fix the problem: "It's a no-brainer." I call an hour before they close since I hadn't heard any updates, and he tells me that they've been working the entire day but recommended replacing both taillight assemblies! Considering the above known history, I was astonished because anyone with common sense would know this would be just a waste of money. I stated this fact and asked him, "Why the *%^# did I bring it to you?" He stated "Come pick it up." and hung up on me.I admit, I shouldn't have used an obscenity... but I'm pretty frustrated with the situation - with professionals unable to solve the problem then this place trying to take advantage of me. I came to pick it up and Marcus won't come out to see me. The receptionist (I think) appeared nice and apologized for him. She offered to take my number and discuss the matter with the owner the next day and assured me I'd get a call. I haven't heard from them and it's been 2 days. This is not the first time I've observed the mechanic staff being rude to customers. I'm never coming back to this business again and recommend any repair shop above than this one.Services: Electrical, Engine repair, Oil change

We were referred to Auto Clinic by a friend when the air went out in our van. They quoted about half the cost of the 1st shop we had it looked at. We held of on the ac repair but took our van back when the power steering went out. They did a great job, were affordable and had great communication. We will be taking all our cars to them from here on out.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went here based on the reviews because I've had some bad luck with auto service and was looking for a new place to go to. I'm not doubting the good reviews, but in my particular instance it just wasn't a good experience.I was getting ready to go to work in the morning, but my battery died and the terminals were corroded. I called first thing and asked if they had availability for me, after getting it jumped, to take it over and have them look at it and most likely replace the battery and terminals. They said sure, no prob, would be ready by the afternoon as long as it's nothing major. I dropped it off shortly after.I hadn't heard a peep all day after that. I called at 4 pm (about 7.5 hours later) and asked what the status was and after unsuccessfully being transferred to someone to help, was told they'd call me back. Still no word. I called back an hour later and no one picked up the phone. 6 pm came and went and I was left without a car the rest of the night.Okay, fine, maybe they'll call first thing in the morning. No, I had to call them back and was told the person to help me was helping another customer and would call me right back after confirming my number. Still no word. I had to call back again two hours later to finally talk to someone who could help and was told that my battery couldn't hold a charge and needed replaced, as well as the terminals, which I had already assumed. Finally was called back an hour and a half later and was told it was done. After I picked it up and got home, I checked the battery and they only replaced the red terminal and not the black one. The black one does not look that great and was hoping both would be done at once since I'm already paying quite a bit of money and was only charged $5 for the red one. Maybe the black one will be just fine for the life of the car, I don't know, but there was absolutely no communication from anyone about options and was hoping to at least converse longer than 15 seconds with a mechanic. The place appears to be very busy with the lot overflowing with cars, so I'm sure it was a matter of being backed up and I can't fault them for that. But to have to call four times over two days just to get someone to even tell me something, an ETA or sorry for the delay, isn't very good service to me. I thought this was going to be quicker based on what they had told me and I didn't expect complete radio silence until the next day. From a job complexity standing, it didn't seem like my car should've been held for as long as it was since the issue was very apparent and the exact thing that needed to be done was already indicated over my initial phone call.I don't like giving one star reviews for places like this because I'm sure they mean well. I hope they're better with other customers in the future.

The place I bought tires recommended Olathe Auto for brakes. I have not had great experience with auto repair shops in the past. They fixed my brakes, price was lower than my husbands. When I heard a noise, I was able to immediately bring it in, they reassured it it was normal & would go away. It did. They even called to check knowing I would be traveling. They also repaired my rear blinker (including electrical). They got me the best price & when the part came in they got me in right away. I finally feel like our family has a auto repair company we can trust! Thank you!! We will definitely take our vehicles back there.Services: Electrical, Brakes

recently brought 2 cars to them, prices reasonable, appointment time not too far out. Work was done well, very happy with results. Only minor issue is the cars were not done the days they thought it would be completed by, which wasn't an issue as we have 2 cars/alternate transportation. Will use them again.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil changeServices: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I meant to leave a review of this shop a couple of years ago. I try not to go to the mechanic's often unless I have to, but Terry and his crew are trustworthy, honest folk whom I'd bring my car to if need be. I remember Terry helped me diagnose an electrical part that wasn't running right and didn't charge me for letting me know. Good folks

They had my car for 6 months. Couldn't fix the problem, broke my rear view mirror and while it sat they let it flood and didn't even attempt to dry it out or clean it. My car is worse off after taking it to them. Didn't even have the decency to fill it up with gas after letting it sit so I almost ran out of gas when taking it to a shop that can actually fix cars.

My daughter (19) brought her car here to have the tie rod ends replaced. After a brief phone call from the tech (asking if she had a wrench for the customer struts she put on the car), we were told the car was ready. We paid $200 and they didn't replace anything. The receipt I have just says Labor: $200. I had to call back and talk to the tech to find out what he did do - which has tightening the struts and tie rod ends. (that's a lot of cash for tightening bolts)We didn't tighten the tie rod ends ourselves, because we bought replacement parts that we thought were going to be put on.I guess I just expected some kind of explanation of the work done - either on the receipt or at the VERY least when we picked up the car.I know she's a teenage girl - but PLEASE don't treat other people like this. It gives a VERY bad name to the automotive industry as a whole. But thank you for helping us decide where we will not be going in the future - that makes things a little easier.

We were very happy with our first time using Olathe Auto Clinic! They replaced our rear axle and bearings. The price was very fair and reasonable and communication was easy and clear. We had to arrange to drop-off and pick-up after hours and it was a breeze!
