I had taken my car to 2 other places before I brought my car to Winter's, as I live an hour away but work in Gardner/New Century. I told them what was going on with my car and that I had taken it to other places that said they didn't see anything wrong. But Winter's listened to me and confirmed my wheel bearings needed replaced. My car rides better and no noise now! Thank you, Ryan and Kevin, for actually listening to me!

Automive shop known for their work and honesty. On each vehicle that goes through their shop is a computer readout on everything inspected from bumper to bumper..even if only getting a oil change. They only repair or replace parts after talking to customer and offer prices that are very fair. I will be going back for my other vehicle when it is time for an oil change or any other problem with it.

Took my truck in for a transmission temp sensor. Done in 1 day when they got the parts. Kevin and the team at winters are outstanding. Highly recommend. Kevin is very upfront about pricing and informed me all the way through the process of my truck getting fixed. 10/10 experience.

They did a great job. Kevin was very helpful and fast. Fantastic mechanics, answered all my questions. Transmission replaced in three days. But then I drove to Overland Park and my shifter went out. They sent two mechanics to shift it manually into gear. which allowed me to take it to their shop and they fixed it. No additional charge fantastic customer service, I highly recommend them.Service: Transmission

Winters was very honest when I had to take a car I had just bought in for overheating. They did not try to push me to fix it like most other places would. I will definitely be back.

I m a bit upset. I took my car in to have my a/c looked at as it hasn t been working. I requested they ask me before doing anything to the car while I was on the phone with them and I wrote it on drop off note. They went ahead and worked on the car regardless. They did not do any kind of courtesy call or message. It cost us a couple hundred dollars and did not fix the problem.

Had my Kia taken in because my engine broke down. Other shops had tried to sell me on parts and labor for this and that. After diagnostics Kevin at Winters let me know about Kia's extended warranty on engine damage. I took it in to the dealer and had my motor replaced under warranty. I appreciated the knowledge and honesty.

I brought my car here because my steering wheel wouldn t turn. They decided it was due to my alternator and it was going to cost around $1000 to fix. I decided to take it docs garage to have it replaced because I heard they were much cheaper. Docs discovered that my alternator was completely fine and its actually my steering column that needs replaced. Not sure if they re just really busy or if it s incompetence/laziness buts It s annoying that I paid $135 for an incorrect diagnosis that almost cost me $1000.

I found them on Google. I was from out of town, they fixed my truck in less than one day for a good price. Kevin in the office is awesome to work with.

I had Winters put a new(used) transmission in my car three years ago and was very pleased with the entire experience. They were very good with communicating and explaining my best options. Three years later and my car still runs great. Highly recommended!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

They fixed my brakes in a matter ofhours, for a price I thought was quite reasonable. I plan to use them for additional repairs as soon as my budget allows.

Hands down the best. Professional, excellant customer service and best mechanic work Ive ever had done. I forgot they was here and first went to a closer shop, big mistake! Hundreds of dollars later and still car stauling I found them online and called. Thankfully they got me in quickly and diagnosised the problem and called with an estimate. Repaired all in a half of a day and had me back on the road!.... Dont go with convenience, go with the best and get the best work at a great price for the safety of you and your family. They fixed only what needed to be fixed and kept the price reasonable. They were my 2nd bid, while another place in Gardner wanted me to do too much and the bid was almost 3x what I paid at Winter's. Solid place, is now my go-to mechanic. Also helped when my wife's car died, had it towed here, fixed it quickly and fair price. Thank you!

I've been going to Winters Automotive for years. The owners and the employees are very trustworthy, professional and honest. The mechanics and owner are very skilled and efficient, they don't try to upsell or sell you things you don't need. My car is always in and out of there very quickly. Prices are fair -- not just a scheduled maintenace shop. They are very good at transmission and engine repairs.

I have been using Winters Auto for years. The owner Ryan, is a fair honest man. His assistants are awesome as well. They will trouble shoot the problem and fix it only if it needs it. Great shop.

This place has horrible customer service. When I went in to have my car repaired they took twice as long as they quoted to finish the repair. They kept telling me they should have the service done soon and would not give me an better time frame on when it would be done.When they did finally get done with the repairs I could tell they hadn't put down any of the protective coverings on the floor mats because there was dirt and brown liquid all over them. There was also some sort of grease all of the steering wheel. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered at a repair shop. I wouldn't recommend going there.

My truck broke down on a Sunday called them Monday came right out and towed it. later that day said my starter was bad. had bought a new starter months before this from Napa...life time. after telling them this they contacted Napa sure enough. Napa delivered another 1..fixed it by 430 pm. they came to my job and picked me up since I was local what great service!! yes would use there services again

These guys take pride in their work. They fixed my Suburban and it broke down a few days later so they came and towed it for free all the way from Indiana and took it back to Gardner made sure it was all good! That's incredible service.

Winters does an excellent job. They even send me a pictoral report of problems to inform me to give the go ahead on repairs. I was totally satisfied with the quality work and speedy service done on my "BABY" (my Jeep)....and Im really picky about who does anything to it...I was very impressed with the work Levi did on my brakes and setting up my rear differential....it is quieter than it ever has been....I would recommend Winters automotive to my friends...they're knowledgable and had my Jeep done before it was expected to be done....the crew their run a friendly, down home & professional shop !!

Not open on Saturdays as advertised. They couldn't get me in so I asked for a recommendation on getting my car in some place else in town or the soonest I could get my car in with them, and the guy said no one would be able to help me. Great advice.
