I took my truck here to have the transmission worked on. Big mistake. They had to order a part that would take 1-2 days. 3 days later, they had no idea when it would come in but said said it'll be "hopefully any day now." They said they would call with updates but didn't. 4 full days later, I took my truck elsewhere to have it serviced. I wish the dealer would be honest about how long it takes to get parts and follow through when they say they'll do something. I paid a lot of money to not have the dealer fix my truck. The only positive was that they gave me a loaner car. If you must go here for service, expect it to take 2-3 times longer than they say.

The last time I was in to get an oil change, in January 2022, the cost was approximately $55. This time, with a 10% coupon, the cost was $95. When I asked why the prices had gone up, they said that everything was more expensive so they raised their prices. I get that inflation is going on but that doesn't justify doubling the price. Coincidentally, we recently had a Quiklube type place that recently was bought by another company that raised their prices to about $100, and there's not a lot of options to choose from here. Briggs also quoted me for tires and said that they would "hate to be the guys that said my car wasn't road worthy," i.e., trying to strongarm me into buying tires from them. They quoted over $700 for a set of Falkens that I was immediately able to go get at Walmart for $200 less. What's more, the folks at Walmart let me know they've accidentally received Briggs' invoices because they use the same tire supplier, and Briggs' tire markups are astronomical. I will never go to Briggs for anything again. Extremely unethical.

Honestly they are very nice people, but that's where the fun ends. The prices are outlandish for mechanic services, and while I get they are a dealership, they tried to charge me $1,400 to replace struts. I'm pretty sure that is the definition of robbery. They also roped my mother into buying a car, damaged it trying to repair the stereo, then sold her a new CAR to "fix it" putting her upside down 6 grand. Then proceeded to fail to mention owing $2k in taxes, pitting her with a car payment and a tax bill separately. She's disabled.

Briggs is in business for the customer! Briggs Fort Scott does rentals too. I had an outstanding experience renting a mini van for a family vacation. Customer service was stellar. The process to rent and return the van was easy and swift. It was so good in fact, upon our return we began to shop vehicles at Briggs and have found them to be very helpful and the best price. This place wants your business and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. They do not hassle you, but are there to help you find the right vehicle at a great price. FORT SCOTT should be proud to have this place in our community!

Ordered our Toyota here & we get it serviced here. First new car that we have ever owned. We don't have to keep track of anything. They contact us whenever it's time for service. They contact us in plenty of time so that we can get our appointment at our convenience. They sell alot more then just Toyotas. Check them out. If you want a new vehicle, give them a chance.

We purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Briggs Automotive in Fort Scott in August. There was a small hiccup and I expressed my unhappiness and the General Manager went ABOVE and BEYOND to make us satisfied customers. These are good honest people that put customer satisfaction first. Highly recommend this place!

Very disappointed! Told them my history and what I was looking for and what I had to work with since it was quite a drive. I get there and they lost my application and acted like I was an inconvenience. Told me I was approved for only one vehicle with a HUGE downpayment. Kept trying to push me into buying this one car that they didn't even show me. I had no clue what it even looked like. The salesman said it wasn't my fault. The person told me incorrectly. I will NEVER go back.

The Service department at Briggs Automotive Fort Scott Kansas did a great job getting me scheduled and servicing my car. Jennifer is very professional and explained all the details. In fact they were able to get my car done faster than expected. I would highly recommend Briggs Automotive for your vehicle service and/or repairs.

The service here is so slow and expensive. All the times I have come here to get an oil check it always takes 1 to 2 hours just to get an oil change. Even when I make an appointment to hopefully get out in time. I rather go somewhere else like Walmart or Penzoil where is cheaper and much faster.

Not fast service. Never let you know if your vehicle is ready. Got some service done that was supposed to be passed on to a 3rd party(brand new car thru them) and has never heard back from them 2 weeks and counting. Oh and won't return calls. So much for buying local!

I called to get my oil changed and I got tossed around with their service.The lady that i talked was trying to give me the bare minimum details on oil changes.I asked her to please find me in their system she huffed on the phone and acted like she didnt want to assist me.From car buying to getting your oil changed I dont reccomend this place.

Very misleading the vehicle I was there to purchase had to passenger side caved in I offered $1,000 down and they wanted $3,000 down they didn't mention the cave in side of the truck it would have took $2,000 to fix the truck I felt misled

We received horrible service when looking for a used car here, the salesmen were creepy and the general sales manager was beyond pushy. This place is hands down the worst place to buy a car in my experience.

1) The phone number connected to your Google webpage isn t a working number.2) Directly scheduled an appointment a week prior all to show up and have them tell me there was no such appointment created.3) What I paid $350 to have fixed has now went out again three weeks later. Hoping we can find a remedy, get this fixed, and raise this rating,

I was told on phone oil chg covered by warranty on the 2009 vw eos that i paid 17000 for 10 months ago. Took it all the way there then they say its not covered
