This place went above and beyond for my family and I when we were stranded in Colby on our way home from Colorado. Our rear end went out while we were pulling our camper home from vacation. Knowing our situation the guys there worked us in right away and got the rear axle ordered. When it arrived they got us right in and made the repair enabling us to get back on the road to home. They even came in under the estimate amount! Highly recommend these guys!

I came here for a transmission concern and there was one guy in the garage. He said they weren't actually open but he offered me his opinion about my car problem - thinking it was the transmission.Later,I experienced what I call the "Miracle of Stratton" a few miles west. Passing thru,coming back from east coast to CA , as mentioned, I was experiencing transmission problems.I pulled in to the Prayer Park in Stratton down the street from the RV park, and prayed fervently & Then I went and did laundry at the RV park.I talked to a lady who said she was a Christian and told her about my car problem & said " I hope I make it to Denver." She responded"You will. Have Faith ''.One hour later, I started my car and it was literally running fine again. Praise God from whom all blessings flow Thanks to all for your help & encouragement & prayers.The power of PRAYER is REAL (And Yes, I do know that you check transmission fluid while the car is running. If I didn't know this basic car fact I would never have made it coast- to- coast more than 25 times now . )

Family & I were on a road trip across western Kansas in middle of winter and started experiencing car trouble (loss of engine power, car jolting and check engine lights coming on). We called ahead to MC Auto repair, as Colby was the nearest city, and they said to bring it in and they would take a look.Neil wasted no time pulling the vehicle in out of the blowing snow and running diagnostics. He astutely troubleshoot the issue and got us back on the road in a very short time.We were very impressed by the quick turn around and reasonable fee that was assessed.It is great to know there are fair and competent mechanics out there willing to help you out and do so in such a just and compassionate way.BIG shout out to Neil and the staff at MC Auto. Do not hesitate to take your vehicle here if you are ever in need of a great mechanic around Colby KS.

Our car broke down in the middle of no where driving back to Denver in obscenely cold temperatures, had it towed here. Car seems to be totaled but the kindness and knowledge these guys bestowed on us was priceless. They were super nice in providing us honest options and then helped us load up the car into a trailer we d rented to haul in back to Colorado with us. In a terrible situation, it s refreshing to encounter such awesome people to help along the way.

Noticed we had a flat while at the Oasis getting coffee. Called MC and they came right out, took the tire and fixed it. All within an hour and for a very reasonable price. And this was the first time someone actually torqued the lug nuts to spec. While I hope I never have an issue in Colby Kansas again, if I did I wouldn't call anyone else. Very prompt and friendly.Service: Tires

Blew a tire on road trip from Colorado springs to sioux city, must have gotten lucky because Neil at M C Auto Repair had me back on the road in under 25 minutes for.less tham $25. Could have easily taken advantage of situation and sold me new tire, higher service charge etc but did not - thanks again

My family was coming home from a vacation traveling on I-70 and had an issue with the valence underneath the car. We were approaching Colby and googled auto repair shops there. We found MC auto repair. Although we didn t have an appointment, they immediately put the car up on the rack, found the problem, and fixed it for less than 40 dollars. We were back on the road in less than half an hour. We were very pleased with their friendliness and professionalism!Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are great! Our vehicle check engine light came on while driving through Colby KS on our way to Colorado Springs. They ran a diagnostic on our car - we shouldn t keep driving it until fixed. They couldn t get the part to fix it the same day, so they called a chevy dealer in the next town to help make arrangements to get our car fixed, so we could get on to our destination. They spent quite a bit of time helping us make the arrangements with the tow truck driver and the chevy service department, and then didn t want to charge us for their time. These are some of the most honest people I ve ever ran into. I m very thankful that I found them when we were in trouble.

My wife was traveling through Kansas with my three kids. Her car broke down at 1pm on a Friday. These guys were extremely helpful in a emergency situation. They fixed the car THE SAME DAY and even dropped it off at the hotel for us. They went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend.

Called to get my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee looked at, they were able to look at it the next day and get the blend door actuators fixed. Neil was very helpful, and they charged a fair price. I ll be back again for any auto repair needs I have.

Was passing through the area, and my steering was acting funny. Even though they were booked, they gave my car a quick diagnosis, figured it was just the high winds in the area, allowing me to go on my way instead of waiting several days for a mechanic in the area to become available.

My wife and I were traveling from Atlanta, GA to Las Vegas, NV. On our return trip from getting married, our headlight went out as we rolled into the neighboring town the night before.My truck is a RAM 3500 6.4L and it is not a simple replace without any tools. The Ram dealership said there is no way they could even look at my light. They then referred me here, and I sure as hell am glad they did! This is a top notch shop with great people working inside. Too bad that I will never break down there again, hahaha. Thank you gentlemen!

So friendly and helpful!I'm on a roadtrip and I blew a tire. The tire I need is uncommon, so they didnt have it, but he helped me find where I could go to next to see if somone else has it. He was so polite and helpful.
