They have a good team working right now. As a former manager of 3 different stores, I see things with a different set of eyes. I was happy with my service and my flat tire was fixed promptly.

Awesome new check in system tracks your vehicle as it's serviced. Had a tire replaced and oil changed, took a little over 1/2 an hr.

Worst shop in the territory!! Took my car in once for a oil change and they drained the transmission, I had to get it to a dealer for it to start shifting correctly again. My son went in for a oil change and they forgot to put oil in it, thankfully he was in the habit of checking it before he left. I went in for a routine tire balance and rotation and was told that they couldn't do it because there were 2 /32 difference on the tire wear and if they did that it could cause damage to the vehicle. What a joke this place is!!! They need to actually hire certified automotive techs instead of untrained people off the street. DONT TRUST YOUR VEHICLE WITH THIS PLACE! They don't even deserve a 1 star!!

Just told me my buick was too low for their regular lift and I had rust so they couldn't do their flat lift. Also called for a specific tire and when I arrived all they had was more expensive brand. Didn't get the tire change and honestly happy they didn't.

No one was waiting in the Auto service line so I pulled in. I went inside after the person in the service bays ignored me. I waited by the desk for 10 minutes and observed the person who normally checks people in out in the parking lot where the service person walked out to help? Five minutes later she walked in and asked me i is that truck yours. I said yes and she replies you need to move it because we have someone with an appointment very brusquely. Very poor customer service. I then called to make an appointment and got no answer as others have commented. I have had my oil changes done at Walmart in many states as I travel. I have had a few questionable experiences and mostly friendly. This store was the worst. I would recommend others take their business to people who want their businessService: Oil change

Worst experience ever trying to get an oil change and tire pressure checked.I showed up at my 3pm appt on time for my VW Jetta. A customer was ranting the whole time insisting on seeing a manager because they put the oil in the wrong place in his vehicle. This was troublesome.I waited 90 minutes just to be told they tried and tried to get a cover off but couldn't. I'm pretty sure any bolts were stripped in this process and I have concerns about what the underside of my car looks like now. I asked to just get the tires done so I could leave. 10 minutes later, the guy doing the job stormed past me saying he couldn't find a pressure gauge so he went over pulled a new one off a store shelf. Several more minutes went by, they printed my receipt at no charge and moved my car to a parking spot. My tire light was still on so I STILL have to take it somewhere to be checked!Worst service ever in my life. They need to fire everybody and hire competent staff.

Had 1 vehicle in bay and all I needed was a new battery installed. They said they could not do because I didn t have appt. They helped me jump my battery but for the time they helped me jump, they could have sold me & installed a new battery. I went somewhere else had battery installed instantly. This last Saturday, the 13th I blew a tire and needed to get one ordered, the tech was so rude. We had an emergency tire that we needed mounted because it was going to be until Tuesday or Wednesday before the new tire would be delivered to Walmart. He told us he only had two techs and was booked out until Tuesday. My husband pointed out they only had one car in the garage, and it takes 15 minutes to mount and the tech said well I don t want to today the next day we took it back in with different techs and they said yeah give us 15 mins and we ll have it done for you! Today Tuesday, our tire was in and we tried to Get it mounted to the rim and same tech was working and said I m booked out until Sunday! We had to fight him for him to give us our tire so we could go get it mounted elsewhere.

Always a great place for an oil change and maybe tire jobs, fix leaking tire, put new tires on rims, and balance them. But for any major engine or transmission work, I don't believe that any actual mechanics are employed here, meaning that ASE certification is not required for employment. Last visit I asked them to change a turn signal light bulb, they said yes quoted me a cost, then upon pickup the didn't change bulb because they didn't have one on hand. They had my car for a couple of hours, could they not order, fetch or auto part store it. Oil change good but light was disappointment to me.

I had to call 4-5 times a day at different times for several days before I decided to just go there. I asked to speak to the department manager who then refused to take any responsibility for themself or their employees. I've decided walmart is not the place to have any work done on my vehicle even simply an oil change. Employees are just too entitled and lazy.

CALLED 3 TIMES, no answer. first phone call, a store associate picked up, said the manager was on lunch, and that he would tell the employees someone was on the phone for them. Which means there were employees there to pick up the phone. I had a stranded elderly customer and needed immediate assistance in finding a tire for her. If I call three times, and let it ring for a full minute each, I would hope it would be picked up once, or at least told 'No one is available to talk to you, try back later'.

Worst place ever. 8a appointment for oil change. Didn't open until almost 8:20. 5 cars in line one pulled in after...they help him first with new tires and we'll here it is 10:20 and waiting. They don't answer their phones took 2 days to even get in ..will go elsewhere from now on

Just drove all the way to Spencer on a spare tire came in early to purchase two new tires and was told they were all booked up now what? I will no longer buy tires or get car serviced at Walmart it's always something short staffed or takes 4 hours to complete service.

Had battery problems with a brutal wind chill outside. Stacy was so helpful and accommodating. Let me borrow some battery cables so I could get my vehicle to the store. Once there put in a new battery and filled my tires. Couldn't have been a better experience.

I ask for Goodyear tires. Even went in with a friend and ask for Goodyear tires. I said the amount the tires were. They put on Douglas tires. I am not happy at all not one bit with Walmart tire center I. SPENCER IA.

They changed the oil but didn't change the filter , said they couldn't get it off. Didn't tell me about it charged me for the oil change. And two days later I realized that it was the old filter. Horrible and pathetic

1.5 Hrs for a basic oil change and tire rotation with no one in front of me. ..way to slow. ..tech was done and we waited for assistance from management for 20 minutes. ..

I took my jeep to spencer ia Walmart for a oil change oil filter and a few other thing and also lost 2 qurts of oil it cost me 58. Dalles because of there stupidity I will not take my jeep there no more

They absolutely suck. Parking lot empty, 4 worthless lazy techs inside, one car inside and they can't put two tires on!!!! Don't give them any business!!!

Not enough mechanics on duty, took 3 hours to get a flat tire fixed. Employees on duty were pleasant and friendly.

I will never ever return there! I would drive an hour farther or more before going there again!! The staff was completely incompetent and lazy to boot. They also never open on time leaving customers waiting on top over they are afraid to answer the phone

They need to get more workers its ridiculous when u have to wait hours before they can get to u an all u need is a oil change probably wont be going back to them
