We had the best experience!!! From the showroom, the sales paperwork a week ago, to the delivery today. They even took time to explain everything about the moped. Dos and don'ts, when to service. It was 5 Star every step of the process. I would highly recommend Central Iowa Mopeds. We will be back, maybe next time for a Cazador (Side by side). AND...They were the most reasonably priced!!!

I would have given 5 rating but communication lacks so much. Funny you can read my messages but can't respond or call back. Interesting? What are you hiding?

Nothing simple or great about this experience. I paid for a moped over the phone. Took them 3 weeks to deliver and sent me the wrong invoice so insurance couldn't be arranged. Then they showed up with no helmet (I purchased) and promised to deliver the very next day. Three days later and multiple unanswered calls and emails and I've had to threaten legal action. I would not recommend.

Wow Wow Wow! The service here is amazing. They have a huge selection but when we discussed our needs she narrowed it down to 3 models. Prices are out the door so there are no extras. They do all the paperwork provide the flag and help you load your purchase or they deliver too!

Bought a moped from this place. There was a slight paperwork mixup, but overall it was a great experience. I received a great product from great people; very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with!

The moped gets zero stars.It s a Wolf Islander and it is literal garbage. It made it to 198 miles before it quit starting. Even if it were to miraculously start again (battery and spark plug have been changed why would they need to be changed after 200 miles?? and there s no other reason for it to stop starting after, again, not even 200 miles) I would never trust it to drive it anywhere for fear of getting stuck there with a moped that won t start for the ride home.Steve and Central Iowa Mopeds get one star for delivering it from Huxley.Besides that, they ve gone radio silent while we ve emailed about what to do with this moped. So, they delivered us a moped that died after less than 200 miles, but I guess that s better than us driving to Huxley to pick it up before it died on us

I got my pit bike from him like a year ago it broke like six months ago and he has had it in the back for repair but like I said six months ago still isn't fixed and he promised me like ten times it would be fixed but it isn't don't bring your broken stuff to him he won't fix it

I bought my wife a scooter from Steve at Central Iowa Mopeds. Steve provided excellent service throughout the entire process. He delivered the scooter to the house and had all the paperwork ready to go. If you are in the market for a scooter or moped, check out Central Iowa Mopeds!

They are bad at responding to requests submitted online and they never answer the phone. Uggggggh. I guess I will go to the new moped shop, Joe's Moped in Ankeny and pay higher price, but at least they answer their phone!UPDATE!!!!! CHANGING TO 5 STARS Steve called and left me a VM and apologized. Now I feel totally awful for the guy. I did not realize the situation. Steve, Please accept my sincere apology. I can only imagine how stressful it can be.I hope to come in as soon as I can.

Super simple process. Steve made it super easy and painless. Took a test ride on multiple scooters to see which one fits best and I was in and out in under and hour!

If I could give 0 I would. Never answer the phone always promise a delivery day and it never shows up still waiting for the scooter that was purchased.

friendly and helpful staff quick process for purchasing. finding the store was a little tricky Google maps will give you the wrong store it's the building next to it in the same parkinglot CIM on thier store sign
