Rock-n-Row Adventures tucked away in Eldora, Iowa is a true gem! The grounds of this site are beautiful, well manicured, and obviously cared for. The registration desk/house is nicely decorated and organized to serve both small and large groups. *cash only* All of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and shared their knowledge of the river and the tubing process (for us newbies). We were ALSO lucky enough to meet the owner on their 16(?) Year anniversary and learn the history of this one time golf club, now campsite and wonderful tubing experience. They provide EVERYTHING (except your drinks n snacks) including a short bus ride out to the Iowa river, then..they carry it all back to shore at the end of your float! If you bring snacks n drinks, don't forget your trash bag! It'd be a shame to ruin this natural beauty!

Epic time. Went when river was shallow, so some getting off tube to walk. No fault of rock-n-row. Campsite is clean, porto potties around so not far to pee. Live music was so effing awesome! 70's, 80's, 90's, music. Bar Flyz is worth paying money for! I will be back with friends. Friendly helpful staff. Probably more adult than kid friendly after dark.

Place was amazing! Very easy to check in, staff is very hospitable, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The rafting trip was relaxing and enjoyable. The band that performed was great. The camping was wonderful. Gave the perfect combination of all things to make for the best possible trip. Prices were very affordable and worth every penny.

Rain or shine... what a wonderful place to be!The tubing, the band, the hardworking staff, and the smoked meats made by an angel- the entire experience was incredible. 100% recommend this camping adventure and will be back next year to do it all over again.

Once again rock and row did not disappoint. Second time going. It's now a yearly tradition. I didn't want to leave. The staff is super cool. All the campers were cool as hell. The whole camp site is just one giant party. Cheers to rock and row and I'll see you next year.

We camped at Rock N Row the 23rd through the 25th, it was an absolute blast! The employees, Rens and Nolte were very accommodating and full of character. They helped us set up our tent upon arrival at midnight, they also loaned us a spare tent for additional party who showed up last minute. 10/10 recommend!I would also note, more family oriented stays should be M-T, weekends are for adults to be kids!

Owner had some issues He needs to educate himself on what lands he does own because the Iowa River isn t one. The way he spoke to us women and kids was beyond disrespectful in so many ways. Definitely would not recommend this service.

Me and a group of friends decided to go tubing and we had took a diffrent car. As we where unloading and blowing up our tubes, a driver of yours decided to get off the bus and yell at us because we where "in the way". As there was clearly a big pathway for your pople to go around us. He then continues to be rasist and loud. There was no issue until your driver got out and screamed at us for no reason. Even one of your poeple decided to get in and try and stop him from yelling at us. Keep in mind you do not own that land and it is free for everybody to get in the river there. Looks like we will never be using your services ever.

Five stars doesn't do it justice. We were traveling through the area in an RV for a bachelor party, on a whim decided to call and see if we could still tube and camp for a day, with it being after Labor Day. Spoke to the owner, she said they could accommodate us despite them being in the process of closing for the season. And boy did they!-Drop off and pick up-Lent us a cooler to use while floating-Had a fire already built at our campsite with firewood for the evening-Ordered us two pizzas that were delivered to our campsite-Owner came by again to give us some drinksWe were overwhelmed by the generosity. I'm sure that level of hospitality isn't possible when they have a full campsite, but it's a real testament to the staff's desire to show their guests a good time that they went so overboard with us. Thanks for making the bachelor party truly memorable!

Great place for tubing down the river. Tracy and Sondra are super cool. Been doing this for 19 years. they have camping spots and have music and great times on the weekends

We would like to give a shout out to the entire rock and row staff. Greg and I stayed for a week camping and couldn't have had a better te. We met some amazing people. Sondra and Tracy we will be back by on our way back to Florida to treat the two of you to a nice dinner out for treating us like family. See you two in a week or so.

As an update: The reply was made 4 years later. The only way they could possibly remember this is if they remember their staff assaulting one of their patrons.So, I have done a lot of camping...a LOT...and for the first time ever, I was ejected from a campground! Was I being belligerent? No. What happened was we had arrived at the campground (16 people) and went tubing. We set a few things in our site, but went along our way tubing down the river (which they only brought us halfway up at full price) and when we returned to the site, they had placed a second group in our spot. Rather than apologizing for the mix up with putting another group in the spot for our larger group, they decided the better solution was to tell us that it was actually two sites (a layout i have never seen before). We tried to get the campground to move the other one tent out of our site so our seven tents could be set up with enough room, but they were hostile and refused to even apologize and move us to another site. At one point the staff even forcefully grabbed me and attempted to forcefully eject me from the site. There was no escalation of "Please leave" just "either take this campground our we will take you out of here." Luckily, enough of my group was there to stop them and pulled the staff off me.At no point during this confrontation did I so much as raise my voice. I just wanted them to offer a remedy to placing another (smaller) group of campers in our site. At 30 years old, I have never so much as been asked to leave an establishment, so you can imagine my surprises when a campground attempted to remove me forcefully. We have gone tubing here for the past two years, but will not be returning again.

Our group had a Great time! Lots to do, the float is well coordinated, weekend band was fun. So many nice, helpful employees. Bathrooms were close if needed and even had showers for a quick rinse! Food was available if needed. We plan to go again. Im so excited to go back!!!

Was disappointed this year been a loyal and returning customer. I go with a large group of friends and last we started camping after tubingThe tubing was okay this year and I cannot blame them since the river was low and we were dropped off at the midway pointThe real reason it was so awful was because we got there and paid for camping and were assigned an area. We parked all our cars right next to our area and went tubing.We returned from tubing to find our area had been taken over by another group. When we questioned the staff we were told that our campsite was behind the invaders' campsiteWhen my friend complained and asked for a refund the manager tried to have him physically escorted off the propertyWill not returnI would like to thank the owner for their interesting response 4 years after the incident occurred. Only to be called disrespectful, a liar, and stating I was out to get something. My friend at this incident had only asked for a refund on one of the campsites and not for the tubing. We weren't trying to get anything except what we had paid for. Please this was an honest review. I find it interesting that an owner of a business would post something so disrespectful in response to a review. If I were reading the owner's response I would wonder why the owner felt the need to respond so rudely to a review from 4 years ago.

I have been tubing at this location for several years. This was the first time I was selected to be the sober, designated driver (important later).This visit turned out to be a nightmare. We arrived on time, paid our fees, and went tubing. For the most part, that went fine. After tubing, we realized the Rock-n-Row staff had made a mistake regarding our camping reservation. A very simple and appropriate solution would have been, Oh my, we re sorry! How about we (insert solution) to fix this situation? Instead, when a few members of my group brought the mistake to Rock-n-Row s attention, the staff immediately became defensive and angry. They did not take the criticism well at all.Rock-n-Row s business plan is to have people tube and/or camp while having a few beers with friends. They even addressed this motto on the bus ride before tubing, stating: if you re too drunk to stand up, take a knee! While my friends who brought Rock-n-Row s camping mistake to their employees were not sober, it is important to note they were in no way belligerent, rude, threatening, or violent. Keep in mind, I had a clear view of the staff s actions since I was the sober designated driver!The Rock-n-Row employees were rude, unprofessional, and illegal. The assaulted a member of our group without warning taking him to the ground. Again, I will remind you no one in my group was belligerent, rude, threatening, or violent. Had I not been caught so off-guard by this these employee s actions, I have called the police. I have worked many years as a customer service representative and have never seen anything like this before!I will not return to support such a terrible company nor risk my safety own personal safety. I can only try to warn other s to stay away and choose a better, safer, and more fun location!

I have been three times now down here, and it has been a great float every time. I had the wonderful privilege of meeting the owner and she is fantastic every time. The workers work very hard every summer and I greatly appreciate them. All and all a great float and a beautiful, clean campground.

Everyone working there was super nice and very helpful. They hooked up all of our coolers and made sure we were comfortable and as prepared as possible. Also the river was beautiful and peaceful. I will definitely be coming up here again for river tubing.

We have been going here for the last two years. We have not had one bad experience. We love the owner and the staff. Sandra and Wes are our favorites. I don't recall the names of the other friendly faces. The staff is so down to earth and great to us. The staff recognized us from past visit's and are just amazing people.I tell everyone I know about this place and consider it the adult campground. Pet's are not permitted which I love and I often do not see a lot of people under 21.We have made a lot of friend's here and people are so open and welcoming when camping or partying. We have such a blast here. Great band's and events.I do believe that you are required to tube here instead of just camping. I would just like to camp sometimes. You meet so many awesome people when you float the Iowa River.I really recommend Rock-n-Row for adults and those who like to drink and have a great time. This is NOT A KOA. And that is why we keep coming back. No pet's, no kid's, no pool, no non-sense. Exactly what we love.Keep up the great work all of you. What you are doing is great and working. A truly awesome place in the middle of nowhere.

My group of friends and I have been tubing here for several years and recently decided to start camping. This year was a complete BUST. Reservations were secured a month prior to our visit. We were told we had a certain camp site and when we returned from tubing, there were other campers set up on the site. When we brought it to the staff's attention, they stated that the spot was actually TWO camp sites. The section of the site they told us to camp at had NO picnic table and NO fire ring and most definitely not enough space for 16 people and 7 tents. When we shared our concerns and frustrations with the situation, the staff was completely hostile and unaccommodating. They even escalated the situation out of proportion and got physical with a member of our group who was being calm and civilized. They proceeded to kicked him (only him) out. As we all traveled together 2 hours to be there to tube and camp, the rest of our group was obviously forced to leave with him. They refused to refund us for camping, which was about $120. When it comes to being a business and pleasing it's customers, Rock'n'Row is terrible. They over book and pack in campers like sardines, their bathroom/shower facilities are unkept and disgusting and they are rude and unable to deal professionally with customers.

Amazing staff. I went for my friends 21st birthday I was the DD. They lent us a cooler and ice and waterproof containers to put our phones in. There were 7 of us, the others were completely drunk by the time we reached the point where we had to get off and they helped us all out of the water and then offered to make us food. We had braughts, chips, pop, they helped load the coolers back onto the roof of the car and just went out of their way to make sure we were all safe and that my friend was having an awesome birthday! Sandra is the best I don't know how I would of gotten 6 drunk people into the car without her!

Thanks 2 the Rock n Row crew for making every year an Adventure 2 remember!!!! More Adventures to come & new people to meet as well as a band every Saturday night :)

Super hospitable. The employees actually talk to you like real people instead of fake customer service rep types. They're super chill about the reservations and get the bus moving ppl when they need to go instead of on a rigid schedule. Beautiful scenery and the warm shower at the end was super relaxing!

Our group of 70-90 people have been going to Rock N Row for at least 14 years. We LOVE it. Staff is great and so are the Saturday night bands!!! Can't wait to go again in July this year!!!

Great place to tube for a group or party. It is family friendly but would recommend visiting with a group and having a couple cold ones with friends on the river. Follow the guidelines and rules and you'll have a great time.

The stretch of river you float is incredibly beautiful, we had rain and sun. Will be returning. Thanks for your he camp was aok and staff did a nice job and were very accommodating. Will suggest to errybody

Camping is terrible and a ripoff. Some members of the staff are incredibly rude and unpleasant to speak with.If you must go here absolutely do not camp here, there are plenty of nice camp areas such as the state park within walking distance. This place is not a good spot to camp.

Great place to float and camp!!! The weather was great!!! Band was great and the company was great....
