Waited two hours to get one tire replaced. The team was understaffed and apparently somebody had just quit that day. Also the associate who had signed me in never gave me a time estimate and didn t realize that the only tech available had just went on lunch break. The manager was apologetic but overall it was a total waste of time and very unprofessional. Won t be going back.

Said they were too busy to change a flat tire. Literally takes half an hour, but if they were actually busy, then fine. It was the rudeness I was met with right away by the woman at the desk. She was completely dismissive. And when she went back to get the head mechanic, his manners were no different (no surprise there.) This is why I hate doing anything with Walmart.

Honestly this is the lowest quality of service I received, they were not able to rotate tires??. Also they charged me $60 for a high mileage oil that lasts less than 3k miles.. I don t suggest anyone to come here for your auto needs, even the basics ones.

They were quick and reasonably priced, but spilled oil all over the engine bay and undercarriage, which then dripped all over the driveway at my home.

Let me start out by saying the guy behind the counter wearing a camo hat deserves a raise!I have a terrible time with names, but he was courteous and helped me get the correct products that I wanted for maintaining my rust with wheels. If, this review was solely based on his customer service it would be a five star plus rating. The reason for a four star rating is due to requesting to keep my former tires. I waited roughly 2 to 2.5 hours for an oil change and four new tires. Which is not a problem, hurry up and wait is a lifestyle. Though at the latter end of two hours and telling yourself that buying a 15" cast iron skillet in the clearance aisle for a whopping $5. Carrying it through the store while you wait, really isn't well thought out. This led to let's hit the open road and flee the heart of Walmart mentality. I didn't notice the bed of my truck was not loaded with my old tires. I was also charged for tire disposal.I guess the moral of the story is always look behind you, even when you decide to go full caveman.Services: Tires, Oil change

What cost me $65 here cost me $80 for my gf at Farm and Fleet. On top of that, Farm and Fleet requires an appt. and couldn't get to my car within FIVE DAYS!! Walmart requires no appt., and takes care of it virtually instantly, at a significant discount.Otoh, I did go in a day or two earlier and even though it was over an hour before they closed, they said that "all our help left." I probed and they elaborated that they should have had two mechanics working, but they both had, uh....uh....just left...So.....make of that what you will. I for one am of the philosophy that between corporate, mgmt, and the individual employees, some sort of reliable system ought to be arrived at such that you're actually open during the hours you say you are. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. But my Walfart track record has been stellar, I hate to say. And when I do go in, and am fortunate enough that "help" is present, they take care of me bigly and I don't feel ripped off. Jen especially was great. In defense of Blair's, when I had taken my gf's car in for a change and left, all her dash lights had come on. I went back and they scanned it for free and removed all of them, and carefully explained to me the couple of warnings on their scan device they felt were worth monitoring. *Walmart didn't even own the device to scan your car*. "Well, that's just not what we do." Okay. Sure. And that's probably why you can see my car immediately as opposed to Blair's that costs way more and can't see me for nearly a week. Walmart even with two ppl before me, two ppl working, and no appt. necessary still completed my oil change much faster than Blairs. On another occasion, way back in the day, I had needed a headlight replaced. It took 45 minutes. They explained that my Mazda model was the third-worst headlight to try to replace which I believed because it was one of the first things I watched a utoob video of how to do and gave it a go and thought, I'm gonna have to take my whole car apart to do this. So when the Walmart ppl were like, yeah, to replace this particular car's headlights requires basically taking the whole car apart, I was like, that's what I thought, too. I know nothing though. So what was the total cost for the new headlight and 45 mins' labor?$5.64I dislike Walmart as much as the next person but gosh dang. How hard can you dislike something that only ropes communities but makes sweet sweet cheap bass love to the individual consumer? The value is superficial and toxic from a systemic perspective but like a line of common soda pop, is sure enjoyable and appreciated on a hot day.I told them up front they had my permission to fix everything they'd fix in their own car. I got a new _____ filter and windshield wipers and that's it. For $20. I was aware my wipers were terrible. I was overdue for a change so know the filter was honest, too. You go to most places and they say everything is wrong with your car and that you should just buy a new one from them that day and sign up for their credit card while you're at it. Dane Cook's sketch comes to mind. Thank you Walfart for not garden hosing me big time.Jen, you're great. If I ever became a wealthy entrepreneur I'd let you write your own paycheck to come work for me.I write overly lengthy reviews instead of start businesses so alas.Thx Dubuque Walmart Automotive. I still hate Walmart, mostly bc I love it so much, tbh.

Honestly the guy servicing us was hella nice and knew exactly what we needed for our oil change and things we wanted. He helped us find the best deal and said under 45mins. Got it done in about 20. Way quick and way friendly. Will go back there again. EASILY!!! THANK YOU Walmart! <3

This is a walk in shop for oil changes and other jobs. I got in right away around 4 pm. The prices are reasonable. I paid 40 some bucks for the oil change but I needed the high mileage one so it was a bit more expensive. The girl who checked me in was friendly. The car was done in reasonable time - it's nice to shop while waiting. They will call your name over the PA system when the car is done.

I have tried to get in for an oil change on 3 separate occasions but the wait has been over 2 hours. A machanic at the desk recommended I come when they first open, but it was still an hour and a half wait. I went this evening and after waiting at the desk for 8 minutes the front desk mechanic said they closed 10 minutes ago. I have had great service in the past, but the last 6 months it has just been a BIG waist of time.Service: Oil change

Went to get an oil change at 9am on a Saturday. The doors where locked, no sign stating they were closed, called the store, associates would just hang up on me. Finally asked for a manager, the lady stated they are probably closed today. Again, I asked.for a manager and got told they don't know what's going on either. How can you makage a store and not know what's going on with your store.

Don't buy tires from Walmart on line..to get them put on is a joke..went in first day..before noon said get at it at one..they were going to lunch.at one tech left..couldn't get them in..2nd day took at noon car head of me said take 2 to 3 hrs to change tires on it won't taking in no more cars they said come in morning..came first thing in morning..couldn't do it tech called in..Dubuque service center is a joke. Takes 3 hrs to change a set of tires..I could of taken a bar in old days and did it in less time.and to rely on one tech..better pay more.or figure out why.or get rid of him if he takes that long.It make alot more since if they went by appointments.then customers would be wasting time going out just to get turned down.

Arrived at 7:45AM on a Sunday for an oil change. Was the 2nd vehicle in line. 2 other customers arrived AFTER me for oil changes. Both of whom were serviced and out the door before me. 90 minutes later, my vehicle was finally completed.

Took my SUV here to get help with an oil leak. They quickly diagnosed to issue, and despite not being able to address it themselves, offered recommendations on what to do to address it. They also didn't charge me since they weren't able to actually fix anything.

This is any other type of Walmart. If you don't have a good store manager, then Walmart's become dirty, sloppy, dingy, and piss poor customer service. Every time I call them for questions they do not answer the phone up front, which makes them have poor store management. But that's your typical Walmart if it's not in a clean area.

I had gone to Walmart to get a new tire put on after one of them had gotten slashed. I went to the store, and told them my car would be getting towed there. This was at 4pm. They told me it would be done around 6:30/7:00 that night. I walked around Walmart, went to a couple nearby stores, and came back at 6:30. My car had not even been started. They told me none of the technicians "knew how to get my tire off" and that there was nothing else they could do. I asked them why didn't they call me so I could take my car somewhere else and they could not give me a reason. They were very rude. So then they told me to leave my car there overnight, they would soak it in WD40 and try again the next morning. So I left my car there, by the time I left it was 7:30 from waiting for so long just to find nothing out. Once I got home I got a phone call from the Shop manager saying very rudley "You need to get your car out of my garage or we will have it towed at your expense." I tried telling him that they told me to leave it there overnight, but I was called a LIAR even though there were plenty of witnesses. So I had to call a cab and go all the way back out to Walmart to move my car 10ft into the parking lot. I had spoken to 2 managers (one was an older lady not wearing a uniform, the other was a heavy set girl with glasses, I think her name was Diane?) they were both VERY rude to me. Dianne was laughing at me requesting a refund and told me there was nothing she could do. Her or the older lady manager never once apologized to me for the inconvience or gave me a solution. They ended up getting my tire off the next morning, after I told them NOT to work on my car and that I was taking it somewhere else. I never got a refund, apology, nothing. I will never go to the Walmart Auto again because this was extremely rude and immature on behalf of the shop and store manager!! I did file a complaint with corporate and they are looking into getting me a refund. Ridiculous!!!

Came in on Sunday, said it was going to be an hour wait. Came back as hour later, hadn't even pulled my car in. Two and a half hours later, hood is still up in the shop, for a simple oil change. What a waste of an afternoon! Will never come back.

We brought in our car to get the headlight changed and they told us to do it ourselves after we waited about an hour. They showed us a video on how to do it and said it would only take about a half an hour. I'm guessing it was because we brought it in at about 630pm and they close at 8.
