What a great experience! Took a little time for us to locate the perfect Mini for me, but Blake did it! Living about 3 hours from Des Moines, we did everything until the official purchase day by phone and email. The day I brought home my mini, Blake had everything lined up and ready to go. Including having me chat with Troy, who walked me through all of the features since it was my first mini, which was extremely helpful!

Walked into Mini of Des Moines and had the pleasure of working with John and Brandon. Both were able to assist with getting me into a new Cooper Clubman. They made the car buying process simple and seamless. Mini of Des Moines has always been the first place I ve turned to for help. They believe in family over profit and it shows from the moment you walk in the door. My wife also drives a mini cooper and it was Mini of Des Moines that assisted with her car as well.

Just leased my sixth Mini from Willis of Des Moines. I really love this one, my second Countryman. The staff at Willis is always spot on when it comes to introducing all of the features, and the efficiency of picking up the car and finalizing paperwork was very quick. All involved were super. A friend saw a picture of the car with a big red bow on it and ended up jetting over and purchased an electric Mini. Wishing all a Happy New Year and thanks.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!I bought my minis somewhere else and then wound up bringing them here for service. BEST MOVE EVER. The customer service they give in the service department (and the whole dealership) is fantastic. They always treat me as if I bought a brand new car that day. I live closer to another dealership, but I drive the extra half an hour just because of the way they treat me and my car.

Blake was super helpful in getting me into the Mini I wanted. The dealership is great. They walked me through all the features to make sure I knew how to use them, were kind, and have been extremely helpful. I look forward to working with them in the future. Mini of DSM was able to get me into my dream car the same day.

If I could give MORE star...I would!!!! I have bought several cars in my lifetime (81 years old)...3 from Willis Automotive...plus many more. My sales consultant is the BEST person I have ever had when buying a car! Blake W. goes above and beyond what is expected.I could rave on and on...but the bottom line is...I LOVE MY MINI AND I LOVE MY SALESMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our vehicle was destroyed in a hail-storm, so I went online and found the 2024 Mini-Cooper Countryman I wanted and called the dealership. The car was enroute by cargo ship from the U.K., but was destined to arrive within two weeks. I reserved it. It arrived a week earlier than expected. They called and arranged for a driver to pick us up an hour away from the auto-campus, and when we arrived everything was ready. The staff were super informative and courteous. The purchase process was easy. The vehicle orientation process was intense (so much software!) but our educator was both expert and hilarious. We had a great time picking up our new car. And off we went!

So, my experience here with Willis Mini Cooper and Debbie Klug (sales expert, that I will totally work with again) was TOP NOTCH. She not only met me at the dealership, she was prompt, thorough, professional, and adamant about making sure that I got THE BEST SERVICE in a car sale transaction that I have ever experienced. She was funny, she wanted to make sure that I was happy with every interaction I had with each staff member, down to the vehicle orientation. I came to find out, these are things that Debbie does every day individually with each buyer. She believes in keeping things streamline with one person verses 5 people (exp)That all being said, I am very happy with my experience with Willis and Debbie. However, I must say that the staff with new and used car sales at Mini is a little more relaxed and not as prompt as I have experienced with Willis LR. Still love Willis Mini.

Very satisfied with the service performed..... however, was charged $27.00 for a tire rotation that was not performed due to tread wear not needing a rotation. I have been hopefully credited $27.00 towards a future service appointment later. I need to look over my bill totally before paying. Almost got a 5 star. Hopefully next time will be a complete success.

This week we purchased a pre-certified MINI Cooper S Convertible (manual transmission) from Willis Automotive, Clive, IA. We call our experience with Willis the most painless vehicle purchase we ve ever experienced. Our sales associate, Blake, had so much knowledge to share (being a MINI owner himself) and answered all questions that we had for him. The negotiations went very smoothly which made it easy for us to make our decision. After making our decision, we were introduced Mirsad and Troy who walked us through extended warranty information, purchase of additional accessories, details about car features, etc. We opted to waive these offers, and there was no pressure to make further purchases. We appreciated this so much. We ve purchased many vehicles over the years, and this is the part of the experience that we dread. At Willis we sailed right through that process without pressure from their associates. Definitely a 5-star experience for us with purchase of our new to us MINI.

Jeremiah welcomed me even though I didn't have an appointment. My car needed a service that they did not have the parts for so, I was given a loaner. I live quite a distance away from the dealership. When my vehicle was ready, it was delivered to me by John the valet He was courteous and absolutely professional. I would absolutely use MINI of Des Moines again.

Based in MN, I was driving back from a gig down south and decided to explore my options in dealerships across the country to find a new vehicle that fits my preferences. After corresponding with Chicago, Knoxville, Madison, and Minneapolis, I reached out to Willis after finding a 2019 model that fit every single checkmark. Because it was the latest model, I really did it on a whim, thinking, "I couldn't possibly make that work."Derek Heckman became my point of contact. We chatted on the phone and corresponded by text as I drove north from FL. From the moment we started talking, I found his energy and candor on the phone incredibly pleasant, warm, and authentic. It felt like talking to an old friend. Within a couple hours he presented a pricing structure that was close to what I was seeking, and after ironing out a few details, the dealership signed off on the exact price I envisioned.After driving 2000 miles, I was hospitably greeted by Derek at the dealership, he walked me through what to expect, introduced me to everyone involved in the process, I signed the lease, and after packing it up, I was off in the new car. Everyone I encountered was easy-going, accommodating, and made the experience legitimately feel special.As I began my 200-mile trek home, I drove over a piece of metal debris on the highway, and immediately received a notification that my tire was flat. I had only made it to Ames! Twenty minutes into my trip! It felt like the universe was trying to balance out my high from such a positive, easy, perfect experience of getting this car. It almost felt unsurprising.I called Derek. Told him what happened. Though it was after-hours, he made some calls and told me to get back to the dealership. I had to spend the night in Des Moines, but was assured the shop will take care of the tire in the morning. He asked me what coffee I like at Starbucks, and that he would pick me up in the morning from wherever I was staying. And thus, BMW Concierge arranged the tow truck and the Lyft to the hotel. The next morning I was back in my new car, with a new tire (provided out of good will), on my way home.I felt compelled to write about this experience because I was so taken aback by the quality of customer service provided by this dealership. It was astounding. I wasn't treated as a customer, but as a guest, a person, a friend. My salesperson went above and beyond any expectations or pre-conceived notions I had about the car-leasing process, and I have the highest respect and gratefulness for his efforts. All-in-all, the atmosphere for the Mini Dealership was quite hospitable, and I am still on cloud nine about what the team did to make the vehicle I dreamed of having, accessible.

Service was fine and Jeremiah accommodating to my schedule but car was left with dirty finger prints all over the inside of the door. I get it s a dirty job but I do expect the car to be left as clean as it was upon arrival.

I would recommend the Willis Autogroup to anyone and everyone. I flew in from Arizona to purchase a specific Mini Countryman. They made this transaction and experience as efficient and professional as could be. The entire team consists of helpful and professional people. Highly recommended!!

My wife had car troubles and they got it in and diagnosed right away. They fixed what was needed to get her down the road and we are scheduling a time to fix the rest. They were not pushy, just straight to the point and on task with what was needed.

My fiance bought a used car from Willis that ended up having a problem with the phone connectivity and heated seats. He was told that the car would have to go to this MINI location for repairs. Every time my fiance called, they would say that the person he needed to speak to was not there and they would give him a call back. They had our car for three weeks before we finally got any information on the progress of the repairs. They called to say the car was done and he could pick it up. He asked if both issues had been fixed and they said just the heated seats. They somehow forgot about one of the repairs? All of a sudden they decide the car needs to go to a chrysler dealership due to the nature of the repair...So we were without the car for another week. Still no status updates and the same run around that we would get a call back. When my fiance finally got to go pick up the car, about 4-5 weeks total at this point, phone connection was not fixed. He was then told he would have to pay for it, over $300, because it wasn't covered under the dealership 30 day warranty. $300+ and another week later, still not fixed. We did end up getting a refund, but these people were a nightmare to work with. Definitely do not recommend this location if you want any kind of competent service.

The lady inside was super nice and when I got there everything was fine. I drove 2 hours for my r53 to be diagnosed. Had an appointment set up for 9am so I dropped the car off and had one of my buddies pick me up. Called back shortly after 1pm to see if it was done, because surely it shouldn t take 4 hours to diagnose something. And then they told me that they hadn t even pulled it yet. Now I asked Jeremiah (service advisor) what was going on, and he just said they didn t have a chance to get to it. Now I ve worked in shops before, and never have I had a car sit outside, untouched, 4 hours after the scheduled appointment. Who knows how long it would ve sat there if I didn t call to check on it. So I came in a picked my car up and left. Won t be going there again for service.***Update.The service advisor got ahold of me this morning and is willing to make things right, he s gonna get me in and do a full inspection on it himself. So thank you Terry for your help and making things right, looking forward to coming in and finally getting it looked it
