Bought our new 24 Defender on 2/29/24 from Willis. Kudos to Tony S for being an amazing salesman!!! The entire staff was very professional and knowledgeable about Land Rover and did a remarkable job! Highly recommend their dealership!!!

Salesperson met me at the door and made the whole experience very easy. She was extremely knowledgeable about Rover, especially the Defenders. Followed up early the next day w proposals from the dealership as well as additional paperwork that I could complete online if desired.They we re also very flexible with my vehicle pick-up even when I change the date to three days earlier than our previous plan. Even though I know logistics were difficult, they made it seem like no big deal to accommodate my schedule.Very friendly and patient. I enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely purchase from them again.

Kellen as well as the other service advisors at Land Rover are so nice and easy to work with. Walk in today- don t have an appointment. Got asked 3-4 if I have been helped yet and all were eager to help even though it was very busy. I will not go anywhere else to buy or service a car again. Willis is doing something right!

I recently purchased a new Land Rover Defender from Land Rover Des Moines. I had previously heard great things about their customer service and they did not disappoint. The staff was super helpful, not pushy, and very accommodating with an unexpected trade and purchase. I had been interested in the new Defender and stopped by to inquire and test drive. They ended up having a spec that was exactly what I was looking to order. The process was smooth and efficient. Being this was my first Land Rover purchase, they entire staff was very good at addressing questions and concerns. Shout out specifically to Nancy and Sean for their help. So far, I'm super excited about my purchase.

The team at Willis Auto made our buying experience a fantastic one. Our sales consultant, Robin Thompson, was first-class with her no pressure approach coupled with her vast knowledge of the various vehicles we test drove and the time she took listening to what our needs were. Tony Murillo made the completion of the sale a quick and easy process and Kurt Larson covered all the bases with the vehicle walk through during delivery. We would highly recommend stopping by to visit this Willis team when you are in the market for a vehicle!

I bought my second Range Rover Evoque just before Christmas. I got all the bells and whistles with it. My first one was purchased the same time 8 years prior. In both cases, the staff and support people have been great. Regarding the RR Evoque, I absolutely love this vehicle. The 2024 has many improvements over my 2016 and brings it into class with all the more expensive RR models. I would highly recommend buying a Range Rover of any model from Willis.

The team at Land Rover Des Moines and the Willis team were great to work with. I bought a new Defender and spent less than an hour at the dealership, and everyone on the team was friendly, effective and accurate in their work. This is the third vehicle I have bought from Willis, and they will be my first choice when shopping for a vehicle.

Very bad customer service. I was always working with Kevin who is a service advisor at this service department. I gave my range rover for service due to low coolant level and they fixed the leaking issue. But when they returned the vehicle it had a check engine light which was not present when I gave them the vehicle. So I sent back the valet to get that checked and Kevin said it is just battery problem. I doubt if he even checked the reason for it. So I took the vehicle and got the battery replaced and the check engine light did not go away. So this time I took it to Naperville IL service center and they found that the purge valve is disconnected. They charged me $200 for fixing it. Also I have been asking this service department to check for oil burnt smell in the cabin when the climate control pulls the outside air. They said it is just old oil on the exhaust. So I took it multiple time in a year. I am sure if it is old oil on exhaust it won't last that long. So I took it to a different store and they found an oil leak from the valve cover which is dripping on the exhaust manifold. I completely lost trust in these guys after these incidents. I would recommend go somewhere else. It's worth driving to other dealerships to get serviced than driving something that may not take you from A to B.

I normally am not one to leave a review but this has been a HORRIBLE experience. & from viewing other comments where they claim that they will improve but does not seem that way at all! I had my vehicle picked up July 31st for a coolant light and an airbag light. They send somebody to pick it up and it magically has a engine light on the following day. I was able to speak to someone on the phone that day and we spoke about what I wanted / needed done and advised them to let me know the diagnosis on the engine light! (Was also having fluids changed and tune up for routine). Fast forward a week and they received the parts still no word on anything else. Everyday I text their number for updates and I would get a respond right at the end of the day or the following morning and it was the same thing everytime we are very back logged / short staffed I will update you when I have an update . Fast forward TWO WEEKS and I begin calling and texting everyone I can and they just keep forwarding me to the guy s voicemail. Finally I left a voicemail demanding an update and why my vehicle was sitting there for over 2 weeks while the parts were there, I explained that I could have brought it in at a different time instead of not realizing it would have a time frame of this long! I had left my car seats in there thinking it would be a week at most! Finally I got a text back on August 25th that they started the work and the check engine light was my catalytic convertors. Asked for a price on them to see if I could budget in since I was already spending THOUSANDS as they had it. Friday passed and the weekend came so I knew I wouldn t hear anything until Monday. So Monday comes around and I get a video of how bad my tires were in shape and I had already explained to him that I was going to get them serviced as I received the car back (better price elsewhere). So I called again and asked to speak to a manager and was like what is the update on the vehicle as of now. He claims he will check with the service guy and they will call with an update. Some time passes and I get a TEXT about how much these catalytic convertors were going to cost and that it was without labor costs !!! & the amount I was quoted would blow all of your minds! I said not at this time. The guy claims that the rest of the vehicle is complete and that it could be returned to me. I get an invoice, I pay the thousands they needed from me to square away the invoice and the guy exclaims he will set valet up to return the vehicle to me today. I stated I was not going to be home between 11am and 1pm. (No response). Today comes around I get a text at 9:36 am stating they are on the way and should arrive to my home by 11:38 am (when I said I was going to be gone). I ended up working it out and left the key with my Mother and told her when they come do whatever to exchange their loaner with my vehicle. Well I return home a little after one to the loaner still being in my driveway and not my car!! I was doing some things around the house and at 2:10 pm I get a text stating Hi Amanda,We had a driver on his way to deliver but we had your coolant light come on. So we had him bring it back so we can resolve this issue. I will let you know as soon as I have more information. so to say I am disappointed is an understatement! There has been lack of communication from the start among many other things. It will be a month that they have the car now, i m out thousands of dollars, and I still am not in recovery mode yet as it still needs things done.

Purchased a 2023 Discovery here last week and it was a great car buying experience. I did not feel like just another customer, they made the entire delivery experience something special. The accessory sales person was not pushy like most are, he gave me several options and took the time to explain everything and was just fun to talk to. The delivery tech spent almost an hour going over all the options and and how to get the most from my new car. He took his time to explain all the features and I felt like I was getting my PHD in Land Rover Tech, much appreciated. The finance office was super easy and stream lined so I spent very little time in there which was very appreciated. My sales Rep Dan was not my original sales person we ordered our Discovery from back in December but he was was there for us the entire process once he took over. I got multiple updates a month as our car was being built and shipped to us. Since we left the lot he has contacted us multiple time to make sure we were happy and to make sure we did not have any questions. All in All one of the best and most complete buying processes I have ever been through, and I buy a lot of cars, its a sickness I think. Will definitely be back when its time for an upgrade

I made 30 (literally counted them in my call history) phone calls to the Willis Land Rover service center in 5 days. With all of those calls I spent over 4 hours on the phone, most of it on hold. I finally had to speak with the customer service manager to get the service advisor to return my call. It turns out the service advisor dropped the ball on finding my car in the parking lot so the original service appointment was missed, then he sat on the car for two days before telling me about a warranty issue, once I fixed the warranty issue it was back to crickets and multiple calls to get any updates or information. All of this is after Willis refused to transport the broken vehicle and required me to pay almost $1,000 in towing expenses to get it to their Des Moines location. When you buy a car they claim to pick it up anywhere in the state. I don t care how great the sales experience is. If you can t follow through on the service side that is a problem. I have driven non-luxury cars with a 1000% better service experience. If you re going to buy a Land Rover be advised that this dealership will not make it an easy or pleasant experience when it comes time to get your vehicle repaired. By the way, it s been 7 days, I still don t have my car, and I only received two call backs from the service advisor, and both of those call backs were after hounding the call center and the management for an update.

I was in a desperate situation in which I had lost my key fob. I didn t have an appointment had had to be in Houston in two days. I ordered 2 key fobs on Amazon and had my vehicle towed to the dealership. They were able to program both key fobs in under 2 hours I was back on the road. So grateful! Thank you!

My wife and I just purchased a used Velar and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences we ve ever had. The staff were very professional and made the process enjoyable. We would especially like to say thanks to Robin, Lincoln, Kraig, Tony, and Bill who all made the experience fantastic. Would recommend Willis to anyone looking to buy a Range Rover in the future. I had some issues with Willis in the past, but I can report that everything went great during my visit this time. My service advisor, Kevin, was friendly and knowledgeable, and he kept me in the know the entire time my Land Rover was in the shop. We dropped the vehicle off about 8:00 AM, and before we finished breakfast at a nearby restaurant, I received the call the vehicle was finished and ready to be picked up. I'm glad whatever service issues which existed mid-COVID have been ironed out and Willis is back to their high standards and good service.

I have been a customer of Willis for 3+ years, and since 2y ago, the service/quality has been going in the wrong direction. When I bought my Velar in 2019 I had an outstanding experience and even recommended it to colleagues at work,first 1-2 Y of service all good , but management changed as a sales/service consultant and willis values are not exercised at Land Rover Des Mones. Nothing wrong with the brand or vehicle , i really recommend Land rover, great cars, luxury, technology great driving experience.My last experience in returning a lease did represent the Ultimate guest experience that company promise, honesty, and transparency are questionable in honoring their offers and commitments. If you consider doing business with them I would recommend having it all in writing and getting approval from management, sales representative like Robin is hesitant to keep their word and lacks understanding and transparency about the process. I am sure that can be overcome with training and maybe better supervision of Willis on the management that runs this business -

We were traveling out of state with our 2008 Range Rover HSE (127,000 miles on the odometer) with an issue with the air suspension . Called and was taken on for an early express 720 AM the next morning! They spent an hour going over the vehicle after they gave us a courtesy ride to the hotel. When the reassurance we could continue home without any major repair needed. They brought our vehicle to us in less than an hour after washing the vehicle, And didn t charge us a dime. Wow. This is outstanding service which convinces us that we will continue with purchasing our 4th range rover hopefully from this dealer in the next year

Curt and Bill we re beyond thorough in explaining the technology in the vehicle and in the app in Delivery. The entire team was professional and made the process pleasurable.

We bought a four-year-old Range Rover Velar P380 HSE R-Dynamic at Land Rover of Des Moines from Nancy. The car is absolutely beautiful, it doesn't look like it was driven a day. Nancy did a great job, she was knowledgable and helpful without being pushy. We got a fair price, got fair value for our trade-in, and overall the experience was very good.The Velar hadn't had its software updated by the previous owner, and when I mentioned it they took it into their service area and did it right away. It took some time, but I was happy to get it done on the spot. So, sure, you pay a bit of a premium buying Certified Pre-Owned from a dealership, but Land Rover of Des Moines made it worth it in service and peace-of-mind.

Hi all, just wanted to share my review of Land Rover of Des Moines. I came in on a Wednesday, and was assisted by Preston. Probably thought that it was going to be a person looking and moving on. As I said it was a Wednesday, who comes to buy a vehicle on a Wednesday!?Preston came out and greeted us, went over the model we had came to see. Set it up for test driving, even put the air on while we chatted about the vehicle (what a nice thought as it was 93 degrees).Test drove the vehicle, then found myself wandering to another vehicle. Again without any hesitation Preston prepared this one, and then went over what made it different so we could accurately compare.Test drove this one as well. Each test drive lasted about 25 minutes, and he did not mind at all. Gave us time with the vehicles, and then we let him know we had a trade in.Preston went right to work without skipping a beat. Got an equitable trade, and then talked numbers.He presented the options, I told him the other items I would like to throw in for a vehicle of this caliber. As dealerships know they have you in the vehicle shortage, again Preston said that it would be his pleasure. If someone thought my request was too demanding then he would fulfill it himself.All and all I am very pleased with Land Rover Des Moines, and more importantly the service that Preston gave us. If you are wanting to buy a Land Rover/Range Rover go see Preston!

Flew in from Asheville, NC to purchase my Range Rover. Worked with Robin T and she made every step quick and seamless. All the paperwork was ready and took less than 10 minutes to complete. Would definitely consider working with Willis again.

My Rover needed service while traveling through Des Moines. It was towed to Willis without advanced notice given to the Willis service team. Sunny met the tow truck at the door with a smile and took care of me/my vehicle throughout a tough "fix". Very genuine and thorough service, I'd highly recommend this dealership purely based on my experience w/ Sunny and the service team!

Bought a New Land rover Velar here, by far, the worse dealership i've dealt with, once they sold you the car and you are not locally around there, you're on your own basically. Services/communication are so bad, you won't get a response from them for a week or two and they won't care. Upper managements are the same. Long short story, my car was at the dealer for over 6 weeks and nothing really done to my car (they said they did). They returned my car still unfixed. They will pretend like they try to help you out. But really they are just trying to rip you off in every ways that they can. I tried to work with them to resolve the problem, but they will keep dragging it out for days. Stay away.Updated, they deleted my reviews. my car was in service again. Didn't do the job and claimed they did, asked them why and how? details? and never responded to me?? ignoring now. Watch out for what they claim they done on your car and make sure they did what they told you.

I hate to give the Service/Parts Dept even one star. My Son was able to purchase his dream car at the age of 21. He bought a 2013 Land Rover Evoque. The Evoque itself is an amazing SUV. Land Rover fell short when we had to take the Evoque in for service due to engine light came on. We scheduled an appointment with Land Rover of Des Moines. The Service Dept took one week to tell us it needed a battery before they could run the diagnostic test. We never received a call from them , we had to call them several times to find this out. Once completed the turbo charger needed replaced. With this being a very costly expense we decided to take it to a local shop for repair. Unfortunately the only place to receive parts is from Land Rover itself in DSM. Our local shop placed the order needed for repair. The first order was missing a small part to complete the job. After calling they apologized and reordered. Well long be hold the second order was also missing a part.with each order taking 4-5 business days to receive - you can t tell me they don t have these small parts on hand. When ordering the part you need to give the dealership your VIN number to confirm the part is correct. I truly believe all this happen because we took our business to a local shop to help support small businesses. Thanks to Land Rover of Des Moines we are on week five and still do not have the parts needed. Sad way to run a business and now my Son is regretting he purchased the car he has dreamed of.

I purchased a used Range Rover from Land Rover of Des Moines and have had to make over $9,000 of repairs in the first 6th months. I am told the vehicle is worth nothing on paper now. Very disappointing, I never would have imaged a vehicle of this poor standard would have been sold on the lot for over book value.

Robin had a selection of vehicles for test drives and when I decided on my 2020 Discovery Sport, Troy introduced me to all the bells and whistles and Tony made the paperwork smoothly. Sunny and Andrew blew me away with how kind, professional and willing to help they were. Mid-way through a cross-country road trip my car was groaning and it was not safe to continue on. They were willing to take a look on the spot and got me back on the road safely with my faith in humanity restored. They treated me like it was a pleasure to help and it turned a really trying situation into a fantastic experience with two people who are really amazing at their jobs and are also just stellar human beings. I wish they were my Landrover dealer and I just can't say enough about how incredibly well my family, including my dog, was treated. Thank you. Definitely work with these two.
