On Monday, the 16th of October. I called to make an appointment for a alignment on my GMC Sierra. The gal I had talked to over the phone set me up for Thursday the 19th at 11:00am. I had mentioned while making the appointment I have aftermarket wheels on my truck that rub before full lock. I also told her what tire size, and rim size was on my truck. She told me without hesitation they could do the alignment. Fast forward to Thursday we had got there around 10:40 that morning and went in early and talked with Dillon (The manager) to let him know you could not turn at full lock with my truck. We then watched him walk out to my pickup observing both sides of the truck. As he was backing the truck out of the parking lot I noticed when he pulled towards the building the fender flare was hanging off the truck. I then got ahold of the guy at the counter to let him know what happened and he allowed us to go to the back and observe the damage. When walking to the back where the alignment machine is you could hear the other employee telling him to stop but Dillon kept going, causing it to make the damage worse. As a 16 year old kid it upset me seeing what I had worked very hard for get destroyed by the lack of respect Dillon had. I then turned to my mom and asked what are we going to do. Dillon replied shouting when did I ever say I wasn't going to fix it! He also mentioned their machine can only do rims 22 inches and smaller while mine are 24inch wheels. Still in disbelief, Dillon said to go to Caliber Collision on SW 61st ST. When we arrived at caliber they jumped on it quickly and had gotten the quote sent over to Firestone. A few hours go by and we get a call from Firestone and it was Dillon, in a very unprofessional way he argued that it was not his fault and would not be responsible for the damages refusing to give us any of corporates information. After searching to get ahold of corporate they had sent an adjuster to review the damages to my truck. Robert from corporate got back to us to say they couldn't accept liability to fix the damages and that it was previously pulled off the truck. I had bought the truck 2 months before this had happened and had no issues prior. Keep this in mind before you decide to go back to this Firestone, extremely disappointed

My husband and I have always trusted the service at this Firestone. We like the way the office is run. We always like dealing with the extremely capable Dylan and the young woman who preceded him who was also extremely capable. Both are top quality kids, and so have been the mechanics who did the work. Our cars have always stayed in good shape because of the care you all took of them. Thank you for being so good at what you do. It s important.

This location delivered excellence in customer service and quality care. Dylan at the front desk was calm and chearful, helpful, and a leader to his team. In the middle of major storms. I was out in two hours during their busiest time and on my way with confidence. Job well done! Thank you.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I advise anyone to NOT take their car to this location ever. First time, I took my car in for routine maintenance, came out with $1000+ bill and my car to be towed THREE times back to the store because the staff were unable to properly fix a problem they addressed. I was without a car for a week. Went back for a routine oil change, and came back home (5 min drive) with a flat. I know the staff deliberately did this just purely by the way they spoke to me at the store and on the phone. They also made it impossible to change the flat tire (again a deliberate move). When I called for help, they were rude, unprofessional and said the flat was completely my fault after I literally just drove my car off the lot. They promised a complementary tow over the phone, but then took back that option. Called them back two hours later to let them know we couldn t get the spare off, and that they would need to figure something out for us. Finally offered up a comp tow, but not until the next morning. Completely rude, and inconsiderate staff. Should have known to never go back after the first time. Save your time, and your money. Go elsewhere to get your car fixed by people who actually know what they are doing. This location has caused more frustration, money, and inconvenience than any other location I ve ever been to for a Firestone.

Each time I have had service or a vehicle concern I felt as though I was truly taken care of. Recently my car had problems with overheating. I called them when I was stranded on the interstate and they patiently helped get me in touch with who I needed for a tow to their location were calm and reassuring with me every step of the way. Thank you everyone!

This is truly a Five Star establishment. The reason it holds a 4.1, the lower reviewers don t understand their vehicles. The Fleur location is, a 5-star service shop.

Im starting my review as im drinking my coffee awaiting my Sunday morning oil change. First of all i used the online website to schedule a 9.30am appt. When i got here, they are super polite but knew nothing about an appointment. I checked my email and daw it could zNot be verified! What does that mean. So they daid they can do it ib an hour and a half or so. Ill just have to wait! I am happy they help us on Sunday but id like the online scheduling yo wotk@ CALL US OR TEXT US TO VERIFY!!!???

I drive a Jeep and they had the exact tires that I need for my Jeep. They installed them on my Jeep and aligned my Jeep within a few hours. It was super last minute but they got my Jeep in. Fast, great prices and great customer service. My Jeep runs great now. 1st attempt I went in and got estimates on a repair they said they found, (for a single woman), that they'd not know how much it could cost me. Their estimates were close to $300 or so and once they start their job it could go up by $100's or so. I drove away without a problem when I turned to them. Almost s11,000 miles later only $2 has been spent on the trouble.I then had a issue and returned asking if they tell me their special cost for a $150 job. They then returned my vehicle to me making loud sounds and extreme noises it had NEVER made before and told me it would cost me $1600 to fix and better fix it quick. I'm gone!

Great customer service. Phil has been great with all my car needs. Dylan recently helped out my girlfriend with some new brakes and she had a great experience as well. They are all very friendly and thoroughly explain everything.

Had a tire replaced here a few months back and it took them over a week to replace the one tire! I continued to contact them due to no one reaching out or communicating any information to me and was given the run around every time I asked when it would be ready. It wasn t until I actually showed up at the store to find my car still with a flat that they actually got up and did anything to it. After I went in it took them all of 15 minutes to get it done. This place is a joke. Not really sure how they are still in business with how little competence, respect for their customers, and dignity they have.

Shout out to Dylan, Phil and the Firestone team!Likely the best experience I have had at a car servicer location in a long time. After experiencing poor service and un-clear direction of how my car will be serviced at a certified car dealership and other servicers, coming to Firestone at this location is how a customer experience should be. Dylan was courteous, professional and clear in his communication to ensure there we're no questions during the service process of my car.I had one tricky item on my car that I have been dealing with for a couple years and Dylan was confident in his tech's to find a solution. The technician (Phil) did a great job in identifying the issue and solving quickly. Thank you, Phil! I can finally use remote start in my car during the winter months!Happy to be a continued customer at this location. Keep up the good work!

Took my husband's truck in for repair on Monday. They had it for a week (never looked at until Thursday), they tried to UP-sale me on 2 items and when I finally got the truck back the speakers and amp behind the seats were GONE. Ripped out!. I called the office manager there to let him know what happened and he denied it happened there. He "said" everyone there was honest, but someone there wasn't. I filed a police report and I WON'T go back there. To say I'm "unhappy" is an understatement!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Oh LET'S GET INTO THE DETALS NOW.THESE PEOPLE ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS OR TREAT THEM, THEY DO NOT CALL YOU WITH AN UPDATE ON WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOUR VEHICLE.... LIKE WHO DOES THAT? COMMUNICATION IS TOTALLY NOT A PLUS FOR THEM. HOW CAN YOU ALLOW FOR ANOTHER COMPANY TAKE SOMEONE'S CAR OR TRUCK AND NOT INFORM THE CUSTOMER WHAT IS GOING ON AHEAD OF TIME??? HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THAT'S WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS? I went in for an appointment on a battery change for my 2013 Range Rover.Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the location was neat and clean.I only have ONE complaint and that is maybe the 20% markup on their Interstate batteries. I did a check on the Interstate site for retail price vs. the price they normally charge for my type battery and is shows a 20% less cost less than what they charge customers.Likewise, I do not bemoan businesses making a profit on any service, but I just thought 20% was a bit much is all. All in all, I would recommend this location for car service.

Recently came here for new tires and there was a very quick turnaround, even though it looked like they had a lot of vehicles that they were working on. Customer service was excellent and the professionals there were honest and communicated things clearly so that I was able to understand exactly what work was needed (and afterward, what was completed.) I would recommend this place to others and would likely be back in the future when I need service for my car (...hopefully not too soon.)

Able to get on within a day ...oil change and tire review. Helpful stuff...tho oil change cost seems high for synthetics, but you can easily get 10/15 $ coupons

I posted a review here and noticed I posted under the wrong Firestone location. I moved my review but don t know how to delete this one. However the location I did go to on 22nd st in west Des Moines had a customer stating how helpful that location was and that another Firestone location wasn t as helpful while I was there idk if it was this location, but after my experience at that location if they re the helpful location it s probably best to avoid this place all together.

Trusted this place to take a look at my moms van. After a week of leaving it there, we had not received any calls or updates at all on it. Finally decided to call them myself to ask for an update and they had no idea what to tell me. They couldn t adequately answer any questions, the answer to everything was I don t know or we don t know . No issues resolved. Left it again for them to take another look and got an update maybe 4 days later. So in total, the van was left with them for nearly 2 weeks. When we picked it up the center console and glove compartment were open and everything that was inside was scattered all over the van. Somebody was obviously looking for money or valuables. Luckily, we didn t leave anything valuable behind. We have been customers for years, and have recommended them to numerous people. So it was very disappointing to have put our trust in them. Spoke to the manager and he was a complete jerk about it, showed no empathy at all. He also admitted that they do not lock any of the cars they work on because the lock may not work. Asked if he was told the lock didn t work on the van and he said No. We work hard for our things and trusted them to look after the car. Would never recommend them again.
