I reserved a truck online to pick up at 5 pm for their Ankeny, Iowa location. The day of, Budget Truck informed me that I must go to a different location, 10 miles out of the way, and they would not waive the extra mileage that would count against my trip. I arrived at the new location in Des Moines (Brad's Used Cars) at 4:55, 5 minutes prior to my pick-up time. Upon arrival, no one was there to help me. (Brad's is supposed to close at 5?? Yet I was there early). I tried calling their location's number and Budget Trucks' main help number, and I received no answer for 15 minutes. Once I was finally able to get on the phone with someone, they informed me that I would not be able to get a moving truck for a couple of hours and that I would have to drive to an even further location (that would still count against my mileage). I was forced to find another moving truck (which was basically impossible) for the next day. All in all, we canceled the reservation, but I would never go to this place again.

Had a truck rental confirmed for months. Even went there a few weeks prior to confirm everything was good. Arrived at 0900 like reservations and confirmation stated. Owner didn t show up until 1030 with the truck. Said he had to go get it while holding a Starbucks sack of food. Never apologized or even acknowledge how late he was. Also called both his business and confirmation phone number multiple times while waiting and he never answered. The mechanic shop next door was also the same company and they said they called him and he was close .still another 30 minutes after waiting had to ask again. Then when he arrived and was getting the paperwork he stopped to take a call about a car sale he was trying to make not caring he made me wait an hour and a half already for him. Then gave me the truck with less than half a tank of gas. An email or call the night before to tell me it would be a later than the confirmation if he didn t want to get up early or something would have at least shown some respect and work ethic. Do yourself a favor and just drive to another Budget Truck rental facility in the Des Moines area if you need to rent a truck. Unreal!

These guys are fantastic! Brandon is a great guy, apart from that the vehicles they offer are quality cars/trucks! We have bought 2 vehicles from Brad's we love them both! Thanks Again Brandon!

Brandon worked hard to get us what we needed and got us financed and on the road with a vehicle we love. He is extremely helpful and the whole group of Brad s used cars to Brad s complete auto are helpful, kind, and gives you the small town personal treatment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car or needing any work done on their vehicle!

Very happy with my sales people's help in finding me the best car for me. I love my new car. Thank you. I was extremely happy with my car until I had to have it worked on over a year ago. At that time I took it to the repair shop where I bought the car. Bad decision. It wasn't fixed properly so I got the car back I've had nothing but problems I've had the car back up there they have fixed it again I'm still having problems its ongoing and it's causing other things to go wrong with the car and they will not honor their work or back there used cars. Affect the last time the car was taken up there I don't believe it was fixed it all because I don't have any paperwork on it and they say they've misplaced it I misplaced it because there wasn't any because they didn't fix it.

I recently just bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu from here. Brandon was the salesman and he was SUPER helpful. Other than most car dealers he wasn t just trying to make another sale. He genuinely wanted me to find the right fit. Anytime I have a friend that is car shopping I always reccomend Brad s! Thanks again and I love the car!

Brandon was super helpful and a very nice salesman. He answered all my questions and wasn't pushy. He let me take the car to my mechanic to check it out, and they fixed a couple issues with it before I bought the car. Definitely a great experience!

I had rented a budget truck for 07/01/2020 and I initially reserved it for 2PM. I had called in advance since I was able to pick it up earlier (1PM up to 2PM) and was told that was fine and someone would be in the office to help me. I got to the place at 1:45PM and no one was there. The open sign was on but the door was locked. I walked over to the other part of Brad's Used Cars and a mechanic was already on the phone with the person that was supposed to be assisting me with my rental. The mechanic said that person was at the other part of the company downtown and he would be there in 5-10 minutes. The guy showed up 30 minutes later (2:15PM). Not only was it past my initial reserved time, but when he got there he did not even explain the "extra fees" I was charged until it was brought up. Even then there was some confusion. He told me it was due to taxes. However, on my reservation email taxes were already included. He then proceeded to tell me "there are other taxes". It wasn't until I looked at the receipt and saw there was a charge for an additional driver. I do not understand why he could not just tell me that rather than me waiting for me to question him again after reviewing the details myself. Disappointing in terms of customer service. However, the truck itself was useful. I would have had an easier experience with another moving truck company.

Highly recommended! Brandon took the time to listen to what we wanted and found my wife the perfect 38th birthday gift! Brandon Even helped me coordinate and make possible a surprise delivery. My wife had no clue she was getting a new Acadia! Haha Thanks again Brads Used Cars!

Brad's used cars treated us right and I definitely recommend anyone looking for a quality car at a reasonable price to go to these guys! I wish all car dealers would be like them and no one would have to worry!

Picked up a rented moving truck at this location. The guy there was helpful and nice. He didn't exactly explain things well - like how the trailer for the car hitches to the moving truck - but since I have rented before, I knew the ropes.

Rented a budget truck and it was filthy, everything I side was sticky the last renters paperwork was still in it, it smelled like cigarettes, and i discovered all that after the guy who rented it to me was rude. Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
