I don't have the option to give -100 stars but had to put one so it would let me post. Worst dealership ever they sold us a car with a bad motor and tried to hide it (we haven't even had the vehicle for 3 months).The old red head lady in the office is the worst. She told me to drive the car while it was broke with my kids mind you this was during winter. Tried to make me blind sign paperwork and got mad when I wouldn't. Then threatened to call the cops and not allow me to take the vehicle. She sent text to my husband threatened to report us. I called the police myself and got things straightened out. We have proof from mechanics as to there unsuccessful coverups of trying to screw us over. My experience with her and her absent husband (the owner) and the incompetent mechanics that work for them is the absolute worst. We will never buy a car from here again. So please do yourself a favor go to a real car dealership.

This is perhaps the best used car dealer on the south side of DSM and of course better than most. After purchasing a vehicle here they repaired it at no charge to us. They even took the time to track down a seat for our van. The gals in the office are very kind and the salesman is very honest.

They literally ripped me and my girlfriend off we put $500 down on a car and did payments missed one payment they took the car and said they sent out a 20 day notice that I never received in the mail so they ripped me off so bad it s ridiculous I wasted money on a car that came from people that don t know how to do there job. They literally suck and I will never ever in my life go back there they literally took all my money and lied about it we got them on tape with different stories from the red headed lady in the office and the husband (owner) they both don t know nothing the was talking and ripped me off they are horrible and I will be taking them to court I got receipts and everything. They a beyond horrible.

I had nothing but a positive experience with Alvarez Auto. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful. They helped me find the SUV perfect for my growing family, Nissan Murano! My credit is less than good and they were able to be flexible and help me out. They also did a full inspection of my used vehicle to ease my mind that it's safe for long distance travel. The whole staff at Alvarez Auto is very helpful and considerate in all aspects. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks!

I purchased a car from Alvarez Auto Sales, the whole staff was so nice answered all my questions. I make my payments on time and have never had a problem. I see bad reviews on here, I wonder if these made their payments on time?

Very nice and considerate staff, Janet was very nice and helpful, help several things to help get the truck running. Thank you for your help and taking the time to help small repairs on my truck! Will return to purchase another vehicle for my son!!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER VERY UNORGANIZED THEY DONT TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS THEY ARE RUDE!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND !!! THE LADIES IN THE OFFICE ARE TERRIBLE!! RUDE DISRESPECTFUL PLACE!!!!!! I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST! PLUS IF YOU BUY THE CAR YOU ARE SCREWED BECAUSE IT WILL BREAK DOWN A MONTH AFTER THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERY LITTLE THING THEY CAN! THEN THEY WONT EVEN CARE TO FIX IT THEY WILL JUST LAUGH AND SAY WELL "WHEN YOU BOUGHT THE CAR IT BECAME YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!" DONT BUY A CAR FROM HEREE!!!!!! DONT DO IT!!!! WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR FROM IN DES MOINES, IA. The ladies in the office are BEYOND rude, I missed one payment and they took the car saying they sent things in the mail which I NEVER received and they didn t have copies for. COMPLETE SCAMMERS!!!! They honesty don t even deserve one star.

Non professional worst place to deal with they dont keep track of your paperwork and will try to screw you over. They dont fix their cars and over price for repairs. I wouldnt give them a half of a star if i could.

Was told they would fix our car before we bought it. The car ran right for a few days now it's acting up the refuse to fix it will see them in court
