Hawkeye motorsports was absolutely amazing. My new Navi is so much fun, my salesman Josh was so patient and helpful. Being a new bike owner and not even knowing how to strap it down on the trailer, he came outside and helped with everything. Amazing place and amazing people. Eu6500 Honda Generator.Dropped off this generator 3 years ago. The parts I purchased between a week s span(inverter and cpu) at a cost of 1500$. Talking with service department and doing what I could on my end. They wanted me to bring in the machine to confirm a faulty new part that I purchased from them. I agreed and made sure they didn t need any of the old parts.After 2 years of checking on the machine never getting any answers on a repair or confirming a faulty new part. I handed the contact information of the machine owner for further contact. 3 years now and the owner decided to just pick up the still broken machine. They wanted to charge 500$ for the time they spent not repairing anything. If this was in the first year it sat there I could justify the cost. Now there possibly third service manager tells me what he knows from the poorly taken notes. Now they want the parts that I was told they didn t originally need. We went in the loops of conversation accomplishing absolutely nothing and that it would still cost 500$. That s 2000$ in parts from this dealership with absolutely nothing fixed and 3 years having the machine.I will never give them any of my future business and make sure any of my customers get there parts elsewhere.

Probably one of the worst run service centers I have ever seen. No kidding when I say I ve seen high schoolers run a better mechanic shop.I m currently out of state working on a commercial job here. I had a few generators needing service. Initially when I called, I was told 2 to 3 weeks and they would be ready for pick up. A week later I had a few more that needed service. I explicitly said any charges to expedite the process would be OK. I had to call back a month later, as they only had one ready for pick up. A month after that, they called and say they had one more done and awaiting instructions on what to do for the rest.I just went in to pick them up and it took over an hour and a half for them even to pull up billing information.As I m trying to pay, I find out my corporate card is one day out of date. As I m discussing this with a the younger associate, a disheveled, lazy disorganized excuse for an employee name Joel stop playing with a stray orange cat with the clutter surrounding his desk and immediately interrupts and threatens to call the cops.I should ve known based on the scathing reviews this service shop has, and by the interaction I had with another customer that this is par for the course of the shop. As I m using another form of payment, this mouth breather has the gall to try and make small talk, like he didn t just call me a criminal. If the general manager had any sense, he would take even a passing glance at how this service shop ran and immediately fire that problem employee, if you wanted any chance of improvement for his dealership.Words to the wise, if you see that pathetic excuse an employee working there, drive three towns over to the next dealership and have them work on your equipment. It will save you a lot of headache.

We just purchased a 2021 Honda Talon Live Valve edition. I highly recommend this dealership! Fast smooth financing and paperwork with Vickie and our sales guy Mitch over the phone and in person, they have years of experience and do not hide anything!The service shop was very accommodating on a Sat for our first service. Everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone else

Terrible service while getting my quad fixed. With an appointment service took just under 3 months. The last 6 weeks of which I received no communication from them. I called each week and was told they would have to speak with the service manager and he would call me back which never happened. When I finally got my quad back, it was only excuses and even blaming me for it taking so long. Completely unacceptable.Update: After my wonderful experience, and paying a ridiculous amount of money, I am having exact issue it was in for and "fixed". Terrible.

On 9-25-23, I d bought a Honda monkey from Hawkeye motor works in Davenport. I'm extremely happy with the monkey and am looking forward to it serving us well. Wish I could've wiggled on the price a little but still got a pretty good deal. Am happy with the salesman also who was Mitch. I think the finance guy was Josh, who was awesome as well. Wish I could've been told about the maintenance schedule, but can look that up in the owners manual. Overall it was a very positive experience and I'd highly recommend that anyone go to Hawkeye motor works. Everyone was very knowledgeable but also very personable. Need some music in the showroom, in my opinion, too quiet. Great job guys!!!

Josh, the salesman was very knowledgeable on the bike that I was wanting to get and then end up getting very pleasant to deal with the finance department made everything happen the way I wanted it to make Joe the owner went above and beyond he help me out getting this thing going right The first time third motorcycle I ve gotten from Hawkeye Motor Works and would highly recommend

Update: While I missed my opportunity to snag the Black/Orange 2020 model, and after a COVID induced supply-chain disruption, I finally got my Red/White 2021 model. I was fortunate enough to receive great service from Dennis just as he retired and handed me over to Josh who kept the same level of spirit, friendliness, and "Honda-fun" alive while we waited for this beast to be delivered. Thank you EVERYONE (the Engineers that designed, the Factory Workers who built, the Truckers who shipped, the Service Techs that prepped, and the Sales Staff that served) in totality to make this dream come true for me. My whole family and friends can enjoy whole new adventures with this. Let's ride!This is the place to go for Honda sales, service, and riding gear. I have had my ATV and snowblower serviced here. Quality work. Snowblower had nothing wrong with it, so they didn't charge me anything. That's honesty there. Someday I'm a gonna bring that orange monster home with me!

It was great dealing with Hawkeye! 10/10 would recommend. Mitch in sales answered any questions and kept in contact with us. New Talon was ready within a couple days of us looking at it. Of course shout out to Vicky for helping with paperwork! Very easy process! Will be back!

Josh, Vickie, and all of the staff at Hawkeye Motorworks made it EASY to do business remotely. The level of communication, no question is too small, and the responsiveness of the staff are top notch. Will gladly purchase another vehicle from them. Great people, honest answers, perfect product. Can't beat it.

I purchased an new Honda Ruckus recently. Salesman Josh was great to work with as were all personnel involved . The Ruckus is 50cc moped scooter of good size. One only needs an Illinois drivers license to drive it on city roads. It has plenty of speed to keep up with normal traffic. No toll road types however.

Excellent selection of new and used with patient staff willing to answer -- or find the answer -- to any questions you might have.Inventory is well cared for -- bought a (used) bike and was able to rack up 1,000 miles practically overnight...

Service department consistently struggles. Lack of organization, communication, and even knowledge of what are typically in-house processes. Can t tell if they are understaffed, if service department leadership is lacking, or where the issue is. One hand doesn t seem to know what the other is doing. My husband and I want to support our local dealership but will be going to dealership an hour away for maintenance, repairs, etc.

Travelers BEWARE! This place will gouge you with high prices! In June 2021, my Wife and I were on an across the USA motorcycle trip. In the area of Davenport, my rear tire starting losing air. I needed a new tire on my 2018 Honda AT, so I called this dealer and they said they had a rear tire for $320.00! I checked the internet and the same tire was retailing for $190. But what could I do, I needed a tire right away and could not wait 4 days for a new one to be shipped . So I paid their extortion price for one tire and went on my way. Sky high prices and the Manager wouldn't discuss the issue with me. Caveat Emptor!

Hawkeye did a great job getting my bike purchase sorted out even though I was coming from out of state. I arrived at the dealership all the paperwork was ready to go when I got there I signed everything and it took all of 30 minutes to finish up and ride out of there. Shout out to Josh for making it happen so smoothly, I'd recommend Hawkeye to anyone looking to pick up Honda branded motorcycles or power equipment.

Riding across 20 states from Quebec Canada. My chain needed adjustment badly. Got there before opening. The gentleman that was there was overwhelmingly courteous and accommodating. And he didn t have too. Thank you very much again!

This dealership went above and beyond. My Goldwing blew a tire on the highway and we arrived by tow truck at closing on a Friday no less. Josh and his mechanic stayed over an hour late to get us up and going and back in the road for our trip. Very pleased with this level of service. Thank you so much!

I shopped at all of the Honda dealerships within an hour of my home and had the best experience at Hawkeye. I wound up purchasing my motorcycle from them because, unlike the other dealers, there were no hidden fees, inflated interest rates, and the salesman (Josh) was very helpful and professional. Even though there are 2 Honda dealers closer to me, I will definitely be going to Hawkeye for all of my future purchases.

Super low key but super friendly staffs, went in and got out with my brand new bike super easy. Josh was awesome! Even the staff member that helped loaded my bike onto the trailer were super friendly and knowledgeable! I wish they were all like this period, I will continue to do business with Hawkeye.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Josh at Hawkeye Honda in Davenport, Iowa. They have a huge selection to choose from and we so enjoy doing business with them. We bought the extended warranty package and plan to service with them even though they are well over an hour away.Not only was Josh wonderful to work with, so were Trent and Vicky.We highly recommend Hawkeye Honda in Davenport Iowa!

My husband purchased a bike for our son from this place, unfortunately. The finance guy never mentioned that insurance was needed the day of purchase (typically there s a grace period) so the third party finance company gave us a penalty of $256.We asked the dealership for help and was promised a callback. That s been more than 2 weeks ago. I m over it.
