I have been coming to this place for over 20 years. I can t find a better place with better SERVICE than Dittmer s. I always feel like home and the staff treats me and my family like we are part of theirs. I can t thank them enough for always going above and beyond to help us when in need.

Found a nail in my tire and gave Dittmer s a call seeing if they thought they could repair my tire where the nail was at and if they took walk-ins. The very nice gentleman over the phone said yes and yes and 10 minutes later I walked in, they took my information and I was out the door in what seemed like less than 10 minutes! I was shocked as they had other jobs on their schedule before I got there and was told they weren t sure how quickly they could get me in and out.Everyone was SO nice and the repair was very reasonably priced and comparable to what my father (who is a mechanic out of state) charges as a fair price at his shop. Will definitely be seeing these guys in the future if I can t get back home to my dad as I know I can trust them for fast and, most importantly, honest and fair service in the future.Service: Tires

In their automotive repair side:Excellent work always. The price may seem high, but it reflects their quality. I've always had incredible service from them, and would highly recommend it to anyone. They are fantastic at communication as far as expected price, and time estimates. I've had my oil changed there many times, along with tire repairs, everything to do with brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, even brake lines) as well as shocks/struts. Everytime they have exceeded my expectations for the amount of time it would take, sometimes even doing the repair same day. They will never pressure you for unneeded repairs, but will happily give their insight based on what you could use in the upcoming future.In the gas station side of things, they are one of if not the only full service station left in the QC area. They will come pump your gas for you. And if ethanol is a concern of yours, they are one of few gas stations in the area that offer no ethanol fuel for all of their products. Inside they have a nice assortment of snacks, and it's all laid out like a blast from the past, with a retro vibe.Overall an excellent company and truly a blessing for us in the Davenport area. Consider them the next time you need vehicle repairs!

I have used Dittmer's Service twice so far since being shafted by another shop. I have been pleased with their rates and timely service. Also it's nice to buy Real Gas and get full service at the pump. I will continue to use Dittmers and recommend them.

Best mechanics in the Quad Cities! Palmer & St. Ambrose Students, GO TO DITTMER S. I think it is amazing that they are also one of the last full-service gas stations in America. I take all my cars to Dittmer s and I always pay less than expected. They are honest and fast. They are incredibly knowledgeable on domestics and imports, and if they can t do a service (like import headgaskets) they ll recommend you to someone in town who does. I have never had a surprise repair fee or cost, and I recommend them to everyone.There was one time I didn t take my car to Dittmer s first and it was a mistake. I used a different shop in Davenport that was having a brake special and they overcharged and damaged my car. I had to take it to Dittmer s to get the job done right and like always they did it for less.

The guys here are really cool. Came for a diagnostic and not only did he fix the problem, but threw in some coolant to help out. Only paid for diagnostic. Would recommend to anyone in the QCA looking for great service at even better prices!!

Greatest full service station in Davenport. The Mechanics are top shelf and prices fair. The do have premium no alcohol gas too. Matt and Bill are the best!! 3 generations.

These people do not care about your auto. After having a radiator hose installed I told them my cadillac as well as other GM products require dex cool . They still put a different coolant in my vehicle, and refused to replace with proper coolant formula. I hope my engine doesn't blow. I would avoid this repair shop at all costs

By far the most efficient and honest service station around. Every tire and tow I ever get goes through these guys. Propane refills too. There's simply no reason to go anywhere else

Sloppy mechanic work. Had brake lines replaced on a caviler and they didn t even remove the old lines just cut them and zip tied the new lines to the old rusted ones. Not professional at all and I wouldn t recommend them for anything more then tires and an oil change.
