I wouldn't recommend this shop. This shop came recommended from insurance and while estimate appointment was a breeze, everything else was a headache. From time of estimate to scheduling repair was weeks to ensure our 7 day repair window was met. 7 days turned into 22 days!!! I would call for updates only to be met with uncertainty and return calls never received. Once we got the car back, I right away called as one of the fog lights wasn't working. They tried telling me it didn't work when they received it which isn't true. My husband and daughter and myself knew this to be untrue. They ordered more parts and again had to return the car for repairs. They also moved items around in the car which in my opinion didn't need to be touched as it had no effect on the work being completed. Overall work was completed satisfactory but communication and repair time severely lacked!

Great customer service! I was updated every step of the way. My car was done early as well. I really appreciated how well they worked with my insurance company. Everyone I dealt with, in person or on the phone, was very helpful and friendly.

Customer service has a ton of room for improvement. I ve spoken with a lady on the phone who was good but the guys I ve interacted are less than ideal. One messed up my appointment date by a month and getting consistent communication is like pulling teeth. They were like robots and do what they need to do but don t tell me what s happening, what s going to happen, etc. Dropped it off on a Monday and thankfully picked it up on a Friday. Parts took over 2 months to get but I get that it s not their fault.Picking up my vehicle I waited in the drive for like 5 min with nobody there then somebody comes out to the drive, looks at me then proceeds to work around a vehicle. Eventually helped me.I will say the quality of repair and paint looks great! The color match looks good and repairs look solid. The detail crew did a great job cleaning up my truck too which I didn t know they did.

They used to be great, professional and courteous but today my opinion has decreased drastically. They broke my back window and they re dragging their feet getting my car back to me in a timely fashion. What was supposed to be a three day job has turned into a five day or more repair. I m having anxiety attacks over whether I ll ever see my vehicle in one piece again. So happy to get a phone call Friday afternoon to say my jeep was ready. Thank you. Now I can sleep easier tonight.

The service here is great! Unfortunately my car has needed major repairs twice in the last year The staff here has been great to work with. I have a Genesis and Stew Hansen s is the closest thing to a Genesis dealer in town. They kept me informed while waiting for parts and throughout the repair process. The work looks great and you can t tell it was even hit. Although I don t really want to be a repeat customer at a Collision Center, I will be coming back if the need arises in the future!Service: Painting

Appointment for the estimate, explained in detail exactly what work would be done, what didn't need to be done, and time frame. When returning to drop off my car, they called Enterprise for me to pick me up. When work was done I left the rental vehicle at Stew's, they assured me they would have Enterprise come get it. Very friendly service, explained the care of the afterwork, Don wash my car for 30 days. Stew's made everything convenient for me and kept me updated ont the progress via text throughout the process. We went with Stew Hansen for our repair to the suspension of our vehicle after a collision. It has been going on 6 weeks and I ve had to call every week to be told the same thing. They received the parts in the first week of having the vehicle and then it took them 4 weeks to start working on it. Then I was told they were missing a few bolts and were waiting on those. Every week I m told end of this week, beginning of next week it will be competed. When I told him that he already used the excuse last week of the bolts he placed me on hold and then changed his story on where they were with the vehicle. He had no idea what he was saying and basically lied to get me off the phone. There has be no apology or understanding of why this is so frustrating.We purchased two vehicles with them because we loved our sales person and how we were treated by them when we came back to have some damage we found after purchasing the vehicles. Some how they were able to fix the damages to those vehicles in the same day but now it s like pulling teeth to get help from them. Never again will I bring my car or purchase another vehicle through Stew Hansen.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

I'm giving them two stars because overall the biggest portion of the work was done correctly. WORD OF ADVICETo any one who reads this...Believe the reviews! I for one didn't and gave them the benefit of doubt the commutation is one sided, whoever is doing the detailing clearly doesn't either care or have good vision, still glass on my seats under my seats, a big foot print still on my seat....Have your insurance pay you directly for the detailing to go elsewhere...I would call but it was a challenge to find out when my vehicle would be done let alone get somebody on the phone that would be straight with you.

My 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander was repaired beautifully by Stew Hansen Collison Center, Clive, IA. The color matched well and the work completed was quality and solid.The customer service with Dan, Lexi and staff was outstanding, always friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. I had some work done on because my car got hit by a deer. They fixed it but didn t do one of the brackets that needed to be done and now my bumper is coming back off. I called to let them know and they said they had to order the part and that they would call when it s in. So it s been almost a month now and they still ain t give me any information on where my part is or how long it s gonna be. And when I call in they sound annoyed that I m calling. But if they would if done the job right the first time this wouldn t be an issue.Service: Body & Trim

Our experience was very pleasant! We were greeted immediately and our car salesman, Manny, did a great job helping us track down the vehicle we wanted to look at. We were happy with the service we received and the facility was very clean and welcoming!

We ve had Stew Hansen collision center work on our vehicle a few different times and each time they have been very friendly, the quality of work was great, and they made it easy to get a rental car while our car was being worked on. Everything seemed to work together and I appreciate that kind of experience. Obviously no one wants to need their services, but if you do need repairs they do great work.

We took my wife's van here for repairs after it was rear-ended at a stop light.The repair itself was well done, and they kept us informed of the progress at several steps along the way.Our only real issue was with the actual drop-off of the vehicle. We had our appointment scheduled through the other person's insurance company, and when we dropped off the vehicle, there were several problems.First, there are actually 2 completely separate locations for Stew Hansen collision centers, though Google only shows the main one. This caused confusion because the address Google lists is the wrong one for the insurance company covering the repairs. Then, neither location had our appointment listed, which added a good 20 minutes to the drop off.While this isn't their fault, apparently Stew Hansen's also got rid of their rental car facility and now contract out. Our rental was more than an hour late showing up, which was a big problem because it meant I missed a work meeting. Definitely wasn't happy about that, and I don't understand why they'd put up with a rental facility that does that.I'd use the repair facility again, but would definitely expect more delays.

How? How in 2023 can you not take my payment and set up an appointment for repairs over the phone? I feel discriminated against because I work overnights and live across town. I sleep during the day. I can't take an hour and a half during business hours to drive all the way across town and back just to swipe a card. I honestly cannot think of a single business that won't accept a card payment over the phone besides you. I bet you would let me put a deposit down to hold a vehicle I was interested in over the phone.

Took my car there for collision repair and have had to take it back 4 times because things continued to be wrong with it. Customer service is less than subpar at best and can never seem to get them to return a phone call.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

We were quoted a very conservative amount of time for the work done. The exceeded their estimate for parts they said were defective. In my work as an automotive/diesel heavy equipment mechanic if we had problems with parts we chose new vendors. To use an excuse like this is old and outdated. Especially since it was an insurance claim. Completely dissatisfied. Will never recommend them or Stew Hansen for any kind of automotive repairServices: Painting, Body & Trim

John, who I saw first at Billion was welcoming, but cool about it. Informed and educated me very well about the process and once the process began was very attentive about my car repair.Missy, who I spoke on the phone with was informative about my car s repair and was even apologetic about the delayed final process of my car. It wasn t even her fault but it shows that she cared.My car looks brand new after its repair, so kudos to the guys who worked on it.

I took my car in to have the rear bumper and hatch replaced/repaired after my car was hit while parked. John was great from beginning to end. They are very quick about getting you an estimate and I got my car back the day he said it would be done. They also made sure I had my rental all set up prior to bringing my car in to be repaired. I will always go back to Billion Collision Center for my repairs if ever needed again.

I ve been waiting now for over a week now, almost two, and no one will return my call for my windshield to be replaced. I have to talk with a call center or something. Called multiple times. It s cracked even more from top to bottom, the impact site where glass shards came through on me, the dash, and into the floor. It s now cracking across beginning to obstruct my vision. If something else hits that windshield and gets hit, it could be very dangerous. We ll never bring business to you again ever.We do NOT recommend this shop, Dewey has fixed several vehicles for me, including one that was close to being totaled, and it looked brand new again, the car wasn t even 3 months ol

Highly recommend Billion Collision Center for vehicle repair needs! I was involved in a car accident (rear-ended at a red light) and needed to get my vehicle repaired. I thought for sure the process of working with insurance, the collision center, a rental car company, etc. would be a nightmare and so much work and frustration. But it was the complete opposite. Billion took care of everything, worked with my insurance and was wonderful to work with! They made the process seamless and so much easier than I anticipated. Everything went very smoothly and didn t take much time at all. They were great! Highly recommend!

One in a Billion! My bumper replacement went off without a hitch. It was done in a day+1/2! The staff was welcoming and professional. They even washed the exterior AND vacuumed the interior! I can t say enough about their quality, customer service and my overall experience. Thank you for making it easy.

Was referred here by Smart Honda. I got rear ended. I told the guy who ran the collision center that my vehicle had issues in the back right tire before they even looked at it. I get a call stating that everything is fine and the only thing that needs replaced is my muffler. After being persistent about checking the back right tire, they finally do. (Even though the whole car should have been inspected considering that s their job). He calls back and says a shock was blown. Shouldn t that be noticed right away? Without me, who knows nothing about cars, telling them what to do? So they fix it and I pick up my car and it s driving just as bad if not worse now. It s almost like they intentionally didn t fix it so I would be in the position to buy a new car...and they just happen to be a dealership. Bogus.

Excellent work and car looked great when done.Love how you do your estimates, drive inside and waited while estimate was done.Had a little challenge getting ahold of someone to determine when car would be done. We had a rental car while our car was being worked on so we had limited rental time. After a number of phone calls and leaving messages finally got ahold of someone at Billion to confirm completion date.Thank you for asking.Joe

I got into a small collision when I backed into a pole. My car sustained damage to the rear. I took my car to the Collision Center for a quote--it came to around $2,700 to repair. I do not plan on going through my insurance for the repairs because of the nature of the accident. I inquired about a payment plan option. I was told that the shop is not allowing payment plans at this time. I think this is extremely disappointing and lacks character as a business. The county is going through a pandemic right now and financial times are hard. I personally am going through a move right now and recently transitioned jobs. So I know that I can definitely pay the bill within a few months--just not all at one time. If a customer wants to set up a payment schedule to pay a bill, I think it is poor taste to completely shut that option off. Very disappointed as a customer.

My experience with Billion Collision was excellent. From the minute I checked my car in to be fixed to the minute I picked my car up, I was updated and informed. They made an inconvenient situation easy. The personnel was kind and professional. The work that was done on my car looks great. I would highly recommend Billion Collision for repairs.

This has been the single worst experience I have had with a body shop. They have no attention to detail, no respect for customer service, and can't stick to a schedule. The original repairs were supposed to take 3 days. Now I really don't care how long it takes because the job should be done well, but the shop didn't try to tell me anything was behind schedule. Every time i went to pick it up i was told to come back tomorrow. Finally I was presented with my vehicle. I could have done the work better myself in my garage. it looked as though the work had been done by a 16 year old. They refused to fix the car to a presentable level. Before taking it to the shop the car was new and pristine. Now its obviously been wrecked and you can tell whoever fixed it did not do a proper job.

Wanted to get a hitch installed on our 2021 Tucson. Went in to get it installed said it would be about � hour. Decided to wait for it since it s only � hour, 1 hour goes by and no one comes to talk to me about anything. I go to talk to someone, We are having trouble getting things connected, should be another 10min � hour goes by and still nothing. Go to find out what s the deal is. Going to be about 45min until things are finished. Wish I would have just dropped it off instead of wasting my time waiting. Concerned since they install hitches on other Tucson s why was this one so difficult to install, hope it s not defective.Service: Body & Trim

Had my car repaired due to an accident and got my car returned with green paint on opposite side of area that needed repair and chips and scratches on my car that weren t there prior to the repair. Got my car back and the inside was dusty and seats were covered with dust that I had to clean myself. How my car was returned to me was not professional and if you have it for 2 weeks I should get my car back in better condition not worse. Won t be using them for any repairs anymore.
