I wish I had this place in my town. Called them to help me with my son's car, which had broke down & he was trying to move back to South Dakota. They didn't know me from Eve, and I was just hoping I picked a good place. They were so helpful and fair & I really appreciated Mike getting the car back on the road. They are just amazing.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Dropped my car off for a very simple repair, literally a 5 minute job and made the mistake of not verifying the price beforehand and of course they took advantage of the situation and chose to price gouge. Very disappointed with these guys, I was told they could be trusted but they cannot. I should contact the attorney general it was so out of line, and in fact I might just do it. Avoid like the plague. They will rip you off.Service: Auto maintenance

I'm a 2nd generation Mefferds customer, and they are the sons of the original owner. They have always done me right. Sometimes a little slow with getting to my vehicles, because they are always busy.

Excellent people to work with. I have been having car problems for several years with my car just stalling out of the blue, and these guys figured it out and fixed it at a fair price. I would highly recommend these guys to friends and family.

Very knowledgeable car repairmen, who did an excellent job fixing my car. Reasonable pricing as well. Communication was underwhelming, however. Maybe it was an off week staffing wise, but there wasn't anyone to answer the phone several days in a row and I never received updates or call backs as to when my car would be done. It was a bit frustrating as a customer, but overall I would still recommend for any SE side residents.

Replaced my catalytic converter; A Simple operation. Threw out my front alignment at the same time without realigning it. They're too lazy to do a job completely and will still charge you full price for it. They do what you ask but add another problem so you'll come back to get it fixed again. Scumbag workmanship and Gaurantee Will do you dirty if they think you dont know enough about your vehicle. If you know you, you know.

Family owned and operated with arguably the most knowledgeable and experienced mechanics in town. I've taken my boat and several different vehicles to these guys over the past 15 years. You don't go here for the small talk, you take your vehicles here to get fixed right the first time at the best price in town.

Was traveling from Michigan to Colorado when the brakes light came on. We had two rusty rear brake lines that were leaking. Mike replaced both and got us back on the road in no time. They were fast friendly and treated us with respect. I would highly recommend Medford's.

These guys are really knowledgeable about cars! My car was locked in park but Meffords resolved the issue at a fair price.

An honest mechanic is rare now. You'll find some here. The first place I called wanted about $150 in diagnostic fees. Mefferds found a simple problem, fixed it in 3 min, and didn't want a cent.

Honest. That gets 5 stars no matter what in the world of mechanics! Might not be the cleanest lobby but if you find an honest mechanic, that outweighs everything else!
