I m about sick of the employees at this store!!! The cashiers are AWFUL!!! They don t greet you or thank you. I was starting to think maybe it was me but I was just in with my husband and our cashier Kristyn F was VERY RUDE!!! She didn t greet us and my husband mentioned that she didn t thank him. It s called respect. I ve been in retail my whole life and without the customers I wouldn t have had a paycheck. Clayton was another rude one. People if you don t like your job go somewhere else!!!!! The only cashier that is worth a damn is the colored girl that works there!! She deserves a big raise. Always smiles, and greets us and thanks us. If I could get my feed in Jefferson I d quit going here. Their employees are at least friendly!!!!

Every time me and my dad go to bomgaars we always head to the guns because we love hunting deer and getting rid of beavers.

Had been looking for a utility trailer to haul a zero turn mower and happened by...First time in a Bomgaars...Found a 5.5x10 with full width ramp for 300$ less than the best price I'd found anywhere...Had planned to look in Des Moines but Bomgaars in Carroll saved me $ and a trip...They also had all the accessories I needed like a ball and 6" drop coupler...Most everything you might need they have...Friendly helpful folks, and very good prices too...

Much bigger and a lot more space than the old store. They also have a greater variety of things too and the baby chickens!

Nice big clean new store. Much larger inventory. Good deals on sale items. Well stocked outdoor nursery. We found some good options while looking for fencing and fence posts. Tuesday is senior discount day but that doesn't apply to items on sale.

Finally a kid with a brain!! Every time I m in there and ask someone where something is they have no idea. But Dave knows his department well and had me in and out in minutes when I was in a rush. Good job Dave!!

I was generally impressed with the store on my first visit there. It's a great place for farmers and ranchers to shop, as well as anyone shopping for yard and household items. I saw a good selection of bbqs.There's a good pet supply department. There are baby chicks and baby turkeys there, and poultry raising supplies. There's some clothes and shoes, but selection is limited. More boots than shoes. The toy department had every John Deere toy imaginable.

Bomgaars in Carroll, IA was a true find when I first moved to the area. The old store had everything I needed no doubt, but was often hard to find in the narrow isles. At this new location, there's plenty of floor space and even more selection of sporting goods items, good items, and general outdoors items. I would love to see more lumber and building materials sold here, but you can't ask for absolutely everything. Before moving here my favorite store was Menard's, and I was sad to see it go. Bomgaars has been more than an acceptable replacement, it's become my favorite store anywhere!

Bought 900+ dollars in dewalt tools router was broken in the package tried to return it they ended up giving me a display model cause inventory was picked over.Clearly stated i dont want the display but manager said its new your taking it. Even though the case hasnt been locked either time i went there

I'm giving it 2 stars because they did have what I needed and I usually have an ok experience when I'm with my husband. This was not the case today though I ventured into Bomgaars on my own and most of the employees were rude and lacked any customer service skills towards me. I went in there looking for specific items that I knew the store carrys so I asked an attendant and he just blew me off. I found what I was looking for on my own then preceded to go and pay for my items. When I get to the checkout one clerk was helping a customer and two other clerks were just standing there talking they saw I was ready and waiting in line but neither one helped me. As soon as a caucasian lady was ready to check out one of the clerks called her over and helped her. I still waited there and finally said to one of the clerks I'm ready to PAY for my things. She never said a word to me just totaled up my items and took the payment. Is it because my brown skin frightens you? So does my caucasian husband have to escort me to get decent service from Bomgaars employees?

Moved from the old location and now it's useable. Wide aisles and well lit. They even had three types of cowbells in stock so of you need one they have it. Jeff

A great experience for the first time. I was surprised at the large selection of farm supplies and everything else even live small farm animals, chickens, rabbits and ducks. Like the old general store.

I went there for lawn ornaments. Once inside I noticed that everything is scattered, no set place for inventory that I saw. I didn't locate what I wanted. I did observe that none of the employees nor did the customers wore face masks or gloves. I won't be shopping there.

Bomgaars is the better version of .... Everywhere else. Some things (ok quite a few things) are a little pricey but the variety of items in stock makes it a one stop solution for most things. Also they have long time employees who know the store and inventory. I love shopping here!

Staff is very helpful and was able to help me locate exactly what I needed. Store is very organized and combined with the perfect temperature as well as good music made for a wonderful shopping experience.

This is in respond to all the garbage and plastic that comes off the pallet stacks on the south west side of the building....go look from top of overpass at all the trash blown down into railroad track area...you can easily see this is from bomgaars....looks very sad and trashy on our community!!!

Its Iowas version of Fleet Farm. Everyone is polite and helpful. Very nice selection of tools and farm supplies. Also a very large selection of individual fasteners.

They were very friendly and nice and the guy helped me in car parts is name was Jared he came out help me put straps on the bed so it wouldn't fly away I Thank you for helping me out Jared

The new location is amazing. Nice layout that makes it easy to find what your looking for. Awesome selection, and prices aren't too bad either.

This place has EVERYTHING, or so it seems, especially in tools, pet and animal feed, and farm supplies. They even sell baby chicks and ducks.

Got a discount plus additional military discount on a really nice Christmas tree. The new store is huge compared to the old one.
