Our fifth wheel broke down on I80. Ugh! Luckily we found Scott at Second Street Repair. Busted wheel bearings and damaged the hub and brakes. Fortunately, axle wasn t broken. Despite his busy work schedule, he knew the stress we were under while on the road back home to CO and he went out of his way to help us. Super knowledgeable & friendly. Reasonable price. called him at 7am , and we were back on the road at 3pm. Grateful we found him. Thank you Scott!!!

I would highly recommend Second City Repair. Thanks so much to Scott who provided exemplary customer service and quick response! Second City responded to us on I 80 within a half an hour st 10 pm, made sure we were safe and had us quickly on our way!

After driving over 1000 miles in the course of 15 or so hours, my car left me stranded on the interstate at the bottom of a hill on a bridge just 80 or so miles shy of my destination. Having to get it towed the rest of the way isn't cheap.. but a tow in the city just a mile would be $80 minimum, so based on how far i had left to go, id say it was a fair shake. Would recommend.Service: Car towing

My husband and I are full time RVrs. We had an overnight stop planned for Lake Anita SP. As we pulled in the campground our transmission gave out in our truck. We were so lucky that someone recommended Second Street Repair!! They came and towed the truck that night and worked hard to get us back on the road! This place took amazing care of us! We were on the start of a road trip and broke down. Scott the owner fixed us up in a jiffy! Everyone at 2nd street auto repair is so kind and looking out for others. Scott even called & set up a local motel for us if we needed a room, which we ended up not because they stayed to work a bit late (not ever expected but SO sooo kind!!) and got us back on the road. communication was great, cool place to hangout while the car got worked on too, decor and a workin lil kitty named Smokey :) thank y all so much 2nd street auto!Service: Engine repair

Scott and his son were awesome! Our alternator went out on Saturday night at the start of a holiday weekend. He was able to order the part and drove to Omaha to pick it up. He drove us to a motel where we could stay overnight while he & his son worked to get us back on the road the following morning! Thank you for being a blessing at the start of our vacation!

Broke down on the interstate driving cross country late at night on a Sunday. I was able to limp my truck to their shop and I called the number on the door, the gentlemen recommended a cheap motel and saw me first thing in the morning, they set aside time out of their busy schedule and saw my vehicle first thing to help me get back on the road. The price was very fair and if I lived nearby they would be the mechanic shop I would choose to look after my vehicles. Very clean shop full of cool things to look at while you wait, very professional and knowledgeable team. Thank you again.

When I had car trouble off of I80, they quickly met us on the roadside. They offered to look the car over and informed me that the car was safe to drive until I got back to my hometown. They saved me a towing bill and the headache of trying to have my car fixed while out of town. Scott with Second Street Repair is the most honest trustworthy business person I have ever met. He assisted me with towing my vehicle from I-80 to repair shop in Omaha. I thought my transmission went out - but he diagnosed it for free for me and informed me it was probably a CV Joint or rod that was broken not the transmission - savings me thousands of dollars on repair. I would recommend Second Street Repair to everyone for outstanding quality and amazing customer service.Service: Special vehicle towing

Cannot express enough gratitude for 2nd street. They were able to tow my vehicle after a flat tire, and get me 4 new tires and an alignment the next day. Extremely fast and professional service. The owner had a wealth of knowledge and provided me information a dealership would have never given me. 5 stars isn t enough. I cannot thank Scott enough for the kindness he showed my family. We were having a nightmare of a spring break. Our vehicle broke down in while visiting the CO springs area. Long story short, we were taken advantage of by a repair center there and sent on our way. Our vehicle broke down again with the same issue at 11pm at night in Iowa, leaving us stranded 400 miles from home. After calling 3 other tow services who recommended we call someone else, Scott answered. I was frustrated about the situation, as well as confused about being in an unfamiliar place. Scott was quick to calm me down and figure out where we were. He had our vehicle on the tow truck within 30 minutes. He then organized our lodging for the evening, as well as drove myself, my wife, and our 3 children to the hotel personally. He called early next morning to inform us of the diagnosis. He had us back on the road by noon the next day. I m happy to report we made it back home with zero issues. After being swindled by numerous mechanics/auto repair personnel, Scott has restored my faith in the profession. We most likely will never see him again, but it would be impossible for my family to discuss our Spring Break 2022 and not reflect on our positive interaction with Scott and 2nd Street.

Scott and Second Street Repair are top notch! They went above and beyond to help my wife and I when our engine stalled on I-80 on a Saturday evening. Scott reached us quickly on the highway and made sure to help us with accomodations as we were unfamiliar with the area. We were stuck for a day because the car was out of comission and they continued to provide support through the weekend until we were able to get on the road again. Our gratitude is endless! If you breakdown on I-80 anywhere near Second Street Repair, they should be your first call for help!

We got a flat tire on the side of interstate 80 on a rainy Saturday morning and Scott was there within 30 mins of calling him and got us on our way. Very nice, professional, informative, and great pricing! Very grateful for their service!

I have been taking my car to 2nd Street Repair for the better part of ten years. Scott has come to get myself and my vehicle from the Interstate late at night and even taken me home before heading back to Atlantic. The service is fantastic and the prices are great also. They have always been able to fit my car in when needed. I can't say anything bad about any of it. Scott and his son helped us with a blown tire on our trailer while we were stranded alongside the road. They realize the stress we were under and expeditiously replaced the tire and got us on our way. Great honest people!!

After our tire blew on the interstate, we called multiple other shops. We stumbled on this one. The other shops had refused to show up and Scott (the owner) was there within 20 minutes, fixed our tire issue, and was so pleasant and efficient. He did not act put out at all even though it was after hours. He was a stand up guy and I HIGHLY recommend him for any and all your vehicle needs. The business and it's owner, Scott Fulk, are spectacular.My wife and I were on the way from Omaha to Des Moines for a weekend and our car broke down on the interstate halfway there. AAA said they couldn't help us. Then a local recommended we call 2nd Street repair. Scott, the business owner, drove over 30 min both ways to tow our car at 6pm on a Friday.He diagnosed the problem and ordered a replacement part on the drive to his shop. He replaced our alternator and did a basic inspection of the rest of our car and gave us some really good suggestions for future maintenance. He charged us far below what we researched the standard price for an alternator replacement and he did it all before 8:00pm. He did it all by himself while he was missing out on his family dinner! (I'm sure his wife had a few words but I wish I could thank her on his behalf!)He literally saved our weekend and we got to Des Moines and back with zero problems after that.On top of all that, he was super personable and fun to talk to. My wife and I both left feeling not only relieved, but also like we had made a new friend.Great business, great people. If you ever break down, definitely do it within range of 2nd St repair!

We were on a cross country RV trip in our new motorhome and had a rear tire blowout. Technician at Second Street dropped what he was doing and fixed our tire that had a screw in it. very reasonable price and fast service. At the beginning of this week I was absolutely stressed to the max. I could not get my car to start and after getting it started and letting it sit over night it would not turn on Monday. Tuesday I called to get it repaired. As a stroke of luck Second Street Repair came and got my vehicle. He said he would be able to take a look at it THAT DAY. Being this close to Christmas I was estimating at least 3 weeks before getting my car back. My car shook, chugged up hills like I was running out of gas and was not a reliable vehicle to take out of town. Now, after 2 days of not having my vehicle and leaving it in the hands of someone I have never taken my vehicle to, I have a soundly running vehicle with new spark plugs, new coils, and a fresh oil change. It was such amazing service with such efficient timing. I am so grateful for how this week has turned out. No more shaking, chugging up hills, and it s reliable enough to take it out of town! Thank you to Scott and the entire team at Second Street Repair!

I had a great experience with them. Scott is very dependable, honest and upfront. He will listen to your concerns and do great quality work for low cost. As I told Scott my only complaint is that I would liked to have received more calls on updates on Car. He understood and I understood his position too. I highly recommend Second Street Repair.

Late night call to get my mom's car unstuck from the snow. Was very helpful and professional. Not only was the price more than reasonable, he returned to help and remove the snow from our driveway so it wouldn't happen again. Amazingly kind! Not too many people like that these days! Absolutely, hands down, best service from a mechanic I have ever gotten. Honest, family owned and ran, caring and quick. Pricing is amazing and work is solid. Being from out of town, Scott did an amazing job getting me off the side of the road and fixed up in less than 24 hours. Wether you're from around the Atlantic and surrounding area, or just passing through, Scott and Second Street repair are the guys to go to.

If you have any car troubles near Atlantic, Iowa... call Scott at 2nd Street Repair. You wont regret it. My jeep broke down 40 minutes from there and Scott came to our rescue on a Saturday night. He towed us to the shop, lifted it right away in hopes he could get us back on the road that night. Unfortunately, it was a much bigger fix, but luckily we were in great hands. Couldnt have asked for better service and his shop was the cleanest most well ran shop I've ever seen. He went above and beyond. He not only gave us a ride to the local Motel, but he called it ahead of time and let them know we had a dog with us. Look no further and call Scott. You'll be glad you did and might even make a new friend as we did.Service: Car towing

I was traveling on I 80 when my HHR began making exhaust noise and lots of it. The muffler had cracked clean in two from rust (wisconsin winters). Second Street repair was recommended after a short search for help. They got me in right away and I even got to watch the repair process. A few moments of friendly conversation, a bit of cutting and welding, and a very reasonable bill later I was on my way. 10 out of 10 would recommend.Bonus points there is a lot of cool stuff to look at around the shop.
