My 2015 Prostar had been having problems for about a month I had taken to an independent shop in Laredo TX. Only to have to do Regens every 4-5 days. Lost truck power in Missouri and was on my way to Denver pulling 79,000 lbs. my Truck started to derate and had Temp sensor light, DPF Light and Triangle come on all at once about 70 miles east of DesMoines. I called Cummins North America who referred me to Halloran in Altoona.These guys were quick to get my truck into the shop within an hour. Pete was very courteous and explained that they could get it fixed and back on the road. While waiting they bought pizza and let us use their break room.They diagnosed us and advised that the problem was more serious than we thought.Luckily they had all the parts sourced including DPF filter and many sensors. They gave us the option to try and repair or replace the filter.Tim was also very accommodating and explained all the repairs as well as our tech Colby. I felt reassured that my truck was in very capable and knowledgeable hands.The next day Pete let us borrow one of the company cars to get around the city while the truck was being repaired.Everyone we encountered at this company from the parts counter to the service department and even administrative associates were courteous and accommodating. I ve been all over the country and have never encountered such wonderful people. I am very grateful for everyone at Halloran! Thank you. It s been two days now and my truck is running great.

Service advisor Adnan S.He s been a great help to me . I called him Thursday morning telling him my 2019 LT 625 had a check engine light (Nox sensor) . He asked for my vin. He Told me my truck was under warranty to bring it in. Once I arrived at the shop I let him know that my driver side kingpin need to be replaced and all of my rear spring bushing. The reason why I needed all this work is because I bought my truck two weeks ago and tried to get a 3 axle alignment at the TA in Denton , TX and they pointed out to me what I needed to repair on my truck to perform the alignment. Once Adnan heard that he told all of theses repairs are covered under my warranty. And he told me I was smart not to get it fixed at the TA because I would of paid all this money . When my truck is under warranty. Then He told me it probably won t be ready until Monday. At that point Adnan got me a courtesy vehicle so I could get around. Trivista is making my repair situation gosmooth with updates every day and just all around great service.

Checked in at 10:45am, out by 1pm. These guys made room to get my truck in for a DPF + DOC cleaning. Normally, dealers are first come first serve but they still managed. Friendly and honest people, very reasonable price and they have parking for customers. They earned my business forever.

Worst service I've ever experienced!!! They've never competed my service work at time promised. I have to share this because you just can't make it up. They ordered a warranty part for my truck. When it arrived they called and schedule appointment for installation. I delivered my truck at the scheduled time. Two days later I called to check progress. I was told they sent the ordered part back because it was to expensive to keep on the shelf. Now I'm waiting for part to arrive again. When I'm out of warranty they won't see me again. If your truck DOESN'T need to be on the road take it here.

I was actually there several weeks ago but these guys were top notch. Showed up over the weekend and was told might be a week before they got me in but after my company got me a hotel the weekend service writer set me up with a rental car and actually had me finished Monday afternoon

I was dropping a load close by when all the lights on my 2022 International came on..check transmission, check engine, the clutch was overheating and heated coolant warning light. I was sent here for repair. I braced myself to be down for a little while. I checked in at 7am. I was told upfront how everything was going to work which made me feel better as a woman. As I waited, I was kept in the loop about what was happening OMG!! Why did I get my key back at 10:15am same day!!! All the lights are out and my 2022 International sounds great! I appreciate the superb quality service I received here today! Thanks to the entire team for going above and beyond!!!

Purchased a brand new 2018 Flatbed tow truck that is still under warranty. We dropped the truck off on Saturday (9th) and it was fixed late last night. Upon our arrival this morning, we were told we had to pay a 100.00 fee for them to put our truck inside their building and the warranty will not cover that charge. Not pleased, but to make things better next time we inquire about using our own tow truck to run over and put it inside for them. Their answer was no, it's a liability issue. So we are unhappy, but still glad we have our truck back as we are slammed today right???? Nope it breaks down, just down the road from their shop this morning. They send a mechanic right out which was nice, I'll give them that. He switches out a fuse and gets our unit to start and we drive it back to O'Hallorans for them to work on it again. So then we are thinking I just paid 100.00 to get this unit in your shop and all you had to do was switch out a fuse to get it running....that cost 100.00??? Wonder if we will have to pay another 100.00 today if they can't drive it right in their shop upon return? Needless to say we are very unhappy w/ the service, fees, warranty and doubtful we will ever purchase an International again.

AMAZING STAFF in the service department!!! I got there before they even opened and was greeted, and helped, by the 2 gentlemen without any complaint. Then they went above and beyond to help me with an issue I was having with removing the filter for my power steering which is inside the reservoir. They even gave me instructions on what to do with regards to my issue. Fast, friendly and efficient service from them today. If I could give them more stars, I definitely would. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of excellent service.

Driving NE Hubbell Ave IDEALEASE truck 882062 failed at maintaining his lane. If he's considers himself a real driver he needs to do better then changing lanes in the middle of an intersection making a left turn. That's how accidents happen.

I just purchased a truck from them and I am happy with my experience. Eric in used trucks was great to work with. I brought my own mechanic to look the truck over and he found a couple of issues with the truck. Eric got the truck fixed. After leaving with the truck there was an issue with the truck. I called Eric an he had us bring the truck back. The service department got the truck right in and had it fixed the next day with no charge to me. I am very happy that they made the process easy for me.

Had my truck worked on & "fixed" here twice within a week and a half & with them being real positive on finding & fixing what the issue was both times but within a couple hours of leaving the shop the exact same issue had occurred. Over $5,000 later, exact same issue. Ridiculous. They're sure good at making it sound like they've fixed the issue though, I'll give them that. Got me twice.

Every one hates being broke down. But if you are close to one of these shops I highly recommend to stop in to this one. Ms molly is Brite and bubbly. Walks you threw everything they need from you step by step. Afternoon Tim kind caring and treats everyone like family. One top of it all this entire place treats you with respect. They walk you threw your truck issues step by step. Tell you what parts are needed and what has to be ordered. They keep you informed every step of the way. And the mechanic assigned to your truck keeps you updated. Very helpful to locate you a motel that will fit your needs that is close by. They even have awesome people to get you to the motel and settled in. I will not hesitate to use these guys again if the need arises. I thank each one for the kind smiles and words.

These guys are AWESOME!!!!! Adnan was my service advisor, very knowledgeable and very friendly, he even gave me a lift to the hotel after my truck was brought it. Molly answered the phone when I called in and was very helpful, gave me updates when I kept pestering them!!! My truck was inspected and fixed in 2 days time!!!! Highly recommend O'Halloran for repairs!!!!

This place has outstanding customer service. It's bad enough when something breaks but the folks here made it just a little bit better. They were able to get me in right away. They were able to get the parts I needed and got me back on the road as fast as possible.. Talk to Pete, Mollie or Tim 5 star service! Brandon came on his day off for a road call to get us back to the shop and saved us a tow! Many thanks to the folks at Ohalloran

I was at the west bound rest area staying for my 10. Woke up to no heat and an antifreeze leak (it was 1 degree with a wind chill of -10) i had came to the conclusion that my thermostat was stuck and that a clamp was loose. To say that myself and 4 lb chihuahua woke up freezing is an understatement. Went there when they 1st opened on a saturday (0700). I know im gonna slaughter this kids name...but Arnan, Arnon....anyways, nice kid behind the counter said he was booked up, only had 3 techs instead of the 5 he was suppose to have and had 25 or so trucks to do ahead of me. He wrote down 2 other places for me to check out but gave me his personal number and said if those other 2 didnt check out, to call him. He then said, "ya know what? Lets just write it up and get you taken care of. Its too cold out there." I dropped my trailer and went and parked in the lot. I was in the middle of making me a scooby snack (within 10 min of parking) and he called and said to pull my truck in front of bay 8. Finished making my snack then pulled my truck in front of the bay and went in with my 4 lb sidekick, who's an a@@hole by the way. 3 hours later, i was hooked back up to my trailer and headed to my delivery in Colorado. This kid took care of me. Super nice people and clean. Im very OCD and they treated my truck and myself with respect. Would gladly do business with them again!

Thanks to Ty Hill, service manager and Pete Beck, service advisor for getting my motor home fixed without delay. Very professional and extremely diligent, easy to work with. They kept me well informed of problems and progress. I have no problems recommending the Altoona O'Hallorans.

Truck need a ficm which is a 1 hr job tops. They charged me 500$ in labor to fix which they were supposed to call and tell me how much to fix and never did.Then I show up and they say I can't take my truck because the exhaust isn't hooked up and they are waiting on a clamp to put it back together. I never told them to fix the exhaust and no one ever called me. After about 20-30 min they tell me the exhaust was actually hooked up the whole time but it does have a leak. Seemed crooked to me. I was not impressed by thier lack of communication and price gouging. I will not be doing business with the service department again.

Arranged to buy a truck from this company, even put in a Purchase order for truck pending inspection. Bought flights tickets, arranged a rental car, and hotel. And they sold the truck before I could go out and finalize the deal Didn't call me to let me know either. Just left me in the wind. Called Craig and he stated he didn't care and was not going to help me in any way. Don't deal with this company unless you want to be disappointed.

For any trucking company owner in the Des Moines, IA area you would be the CEO of the year if you chose Trivista (formally O'Hallorans) to stand shoulder to shoulder with you. The folks there are all awesome, kind, and respectful to work with. They really care about you and the needs of your company.They have it all, repairs, body shop, rentals, parking, truck wash and detailing. We utilize all their services on a regular basis as they have in defacto become our terminal.Hard to single out people for excellence as everyone we have dealt with has been on top of their game. But we would especially like to thank Ken Groetsch, Therese Straavaldson, Tim Cole, for always making yourselves available anytime the need arises. I give them all 5 stars as this is a 2 year on going business relationship that has only gotten better and better over time. I can't give a half star so I'm being generous. They had one of our company's motor coaches for over a month (10/28 to 12/1) for a repair covered under warranty. They kept promising it would be done on "Monday" of the following week. Then after having it back for less than 3 weeks it had to go back in on 12/20/16 ...we were told they would get it diagnosed within the week. Didn't get done until Jan 3rd...they still have it currently....and guess what? They said it should be done Monday the 9th!! we are losing bookings and trying to explain things to clients. I think this is beyond bad service.
