I wish I could give them no stars...They let one of thier mechanics take my engine apart to fix or diagnose and it's been over a year yet my car is still in pieces.. I filed a small claims law suit against this company and nobody showed up...I was awarded 4500.00. We will see what happens..That tells you all you need to know....Very Shady and will Rob you blind be careful take your vehicle to a real Shop like Mike Anderson......

I ve had several vehicles worked on there several different times. For the most part, repairs were effective. Twice now though, they ve closed up shop for extended periods while my vehicle was there. The first time it was there for an extra week while I waited for them to reopen. This last time, my vehicle sat there for three weeks and they never called, never took a call and never returned messages. Never worked on my car. Not sure if they are still in business. Absolutely inexcusable.Services: Brakes, Oil change

My daughter had car issues while traveling. Called me and I was lucky enough to call McCords late in the afternoon. They greeted her by name when she got there, looked over the issue, fixed the minor issue, and sent her on her way. It's good to know there are friendly businesses out there that know how to care for their customers.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We took our truck for a tune up and to put 2 new tires on the front. We literally live 2 streets over from them got truck home and we noticed they din't even put a wire on the plug and it was sparking and the 2 new tires they put on was not even on the rim all the way.There was a huge gap between the rim and tire. By this time they were closed so we went back the next day after work and they refused to make it right with us telling us they would not replace the missing wire! so I have to buy a whole new set just cause they scewed up! Not like you can go buy a single wire! One mechanic there said its no big deal I had a missing wire on my plug!! I paid for a job it should been done right or at least make it right with their customers!! They are over priced wanting to charge me 750 to change a line when I took it to anther old mechanic who will do it for 150! Stick with the ones you know! I'll never go back to them!! If I could I'd rate them a 0 star!!Service: Engine repair

In March we had work done on our truck, the idler arm and the pitman arm. After that we took it immediately for new tires and an alignment. A few months pass and we notice the tires making more and more noise. Upon closer inspection we see the right front tire is incredibly worn on the outside. Near showing cords.We got it in to a different garage and they told us that the putman arm and idler arm were bad.... the same that we had just paid to get fixed in March. We contacted Mccords and they agreed to look at it. They did agree that both the pitman arm and idler arm were bad and they were covered under warranty. But they said they would be charging labor though claimed they would work with us.They scheduled the truck, the work took less than the 4 hours quoted, less than 3 hours actually. And they charged us "half" price for labor on 4 hours. Mind you their labor had increased so essentially we paid full labor of what it was when we had it serviced originally and due to their parts failing we still had to replace a 250.00 tireWe won't be back. This wasn't the first time we've used Mccords but it will 100% be the last.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Had appointment at 10a.m. Got there around 9:40a.m. Didn't even get vehicle into bay until 12, two hours later and then say going on lunch.Fyi your lunch sounds like a personal problem. Maybe don't take two hours to get a vehicle in. Best solution is to shut your "shop" down.I recommend no one to this rundown business.Service: Brakes

I will always bring my vehicle here. They get me in as quick as they can and are always thorough. They also keep me in the loop of what is going on with my vehicle which is much appreciated! Very friendly people and quick, quality service.

Awesome service. Had an A/C blend actuator issue. The "other guy" (OEM) wanted $150 for diagnostic. McCords gang had it repaired in/out in no time for $130 with parts diagnostic and labor!! Will move all my business to them from here on. Update, I had tires replaced on my wife's Explorer, that damaged every aluminum rim on the, thus I'm still searching for reputable mechanic in Rochester area...

GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! I called into McCords earlier this wk due to my car running badly, its shaking horribly. i call here n they set an apt for this morning at 930 to look it over. So i change my morning and drive a half hr in an unsafe vehicle, just for nobody to even be here. But says its open 9-5. The old owner would have never let this go down. Thank you for the unprofessional buisness.

I hate to speak negatively about a small business but A family member took a carTo them with a check engine light on, they toldHer it had several problems and needed an engine replacement when it was just a leaky valve cover gasket $77 dollars later at a more reputable establishment down the street it was fixed. Steer clear of this business ...

My 69 year old mother needed help getting a flat tire changed. She is physically unable to do these things herself. Staff absolutely REFUSED to help her. What a PATHETIC excuse of a business!!!

Dropped our 2010 GMC Terrain off for air conditioning failure. They very quickly found the issue and resolved it actually faster than anticipated! Very good prices! I will recommend them to everyone! Thanks Mccords Auto!

Great place. Honest auto techs and very nice receptionist. They were prompt and thorough with the tasks assigned to them. Pricing a little high but worth it for a job well done and promptly.

Don't no to many people that turns away paying customer this place does!!!! And very rude all I wanted was to get my AC fixed so my 4 kids didn't have to sit in a hot car don't take your vehicle's here

5 stars for the young woman behind the counter. Emily I believe, so helpful and knowledgeable. There is a proud father somewhere! I would hire her if I had an opening or at least raise her pay if she was in my shop.

Heard and have personally had a bad experience at this shop. One of my friends had his fluids changed, and they put power steering fluid in the brakes. Went in for an oil change, and they didn't tighten the oil plug properly.

This place is dirty and the younger front desk lady is rude and ordered her food mid conversation. I walked out, because after my fourth time being their I had enough. They have god stuff all over their establishment yet they treat you horrible. In the end they dont care if they take your money or not. They mix family and business and the customer comes last .
