Do not bye from this place. They have mechanics running key components constantly. Mine was the oil-sending unit. So it kept dumping oil in my intake. Clogged my catalytic converter so I had to cut it off. Good thing cause had I not this morning when I was driving it it dumped 3 quarts of oil out of my manifold. It would have dumped it right in that cat that's over 1000 degrees. Possibly causing it to catch on fire. I had my 2 sons with me. And we all could have gotten seriously injured or worse. They had 3 major sensors running constantly off my AC compressor. So it was always going whatever it was. 1 oil sending unit. 2. My AC compressor ran into my fuse box hooked into a relay with no toggle switch. So that's 2 for hazards. And 3 one running to my transfer Case so I was in 4 wheel hi at all times. And they don't think doing illegal things that could cost the driver and the passengers their lives. It's no big deal. So basically they acted like I had no clue. And I do. And then I asked to talk to the salesman to ask him why he didn't get it fixed correctly. They also told me they put a new transmission in it. But I didn't have first gear ever. So that is another lie. Horrible place to do business and a danger to people and their families doing nonsense like that that could potentially cost somebody and/or others their lives. Oh yeah person before me bought it 2 years before me. Had 98,209 on the odometer. 2 years later when I bought it it read 98,302. Something to the change of 70-something miles in 2 years. I bought it on November 22...previous person on December 15, 2020. It now reads 102 and some change I drove it from November 4 months to March and I just keep finding illegal mechanic practices in it. Also, they sold it to the previous buyer for 1000 and some change cheaper than my mother who is 65. So they like to take advantage of people they know they don't know what to look for. I'd avoid it at all costs. And I will be calling BBB and I'm also hiring a lawyer because me and my boys could have died in that death trap. And they are so rude. Unprofessional. I was calm till he called me an idiot about the oil-sending sensor. Does. I was told it does nothing. Then it wouldn't be there. I will be seeing you in court BABCOCK MOTORS INC! Enjoy ripping all the people off you can. Cause I am going to get your dealers' license revoked. And bankrupt you. You have no clue about the people I know. A simple your right that shouldn't have been done to your mother like that and we will talk to the salesman and the mechanic. And that's all I wanted to hear. But you are crooks and crooks care about no one but themselves. Enjoy the rest of your time open.

Easiest transaction ever! Customer service was bar none! Jim was communicative, honest and so helpful! Would definitely recommend Jim and Babcock Motors. They were worth the 3+ hour drive!

Jill in the sevice dept. has gone above and beyond for me. 1st they fixed my FIL's car and then when their wheelchair van broke down (which we have to have to get my MIL to doctor's appointments) they got it in the next day and even though they couldn't get the part (not a GM vehicle) they found a temporary work around which allowed us to use the van until we could get it fixed. This is just one example. Definitely recommend!!!

Very good experience. Had some service and repairs performed on one of our vehicles. Staff was friendly and honest. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Didn't try to upsell us on other issues. Will return for future work.

Very disappointed. We were on a vacation and traveled from Northern Indiana. On our last day of vacation our GMC started having issues. It was running and moving but would not accelerate. We had it towed here to be fixed. Picked it up the next day and paid $625. Took off and started noticing I was still have acceleration issues. The problem was obviously not fixed. We stopped at a gas station and the truck wouldn t start. We are currently stranded once again and have a mechanic friend who actually knows what they are doing traveling 3 hours to help us. We were ROBBED of $625 for absolutely nothing. You were supposed to diagnose and fix the issue and you didn t no matter how you try to spin it. You shouldn t just wing it and hope it works you should actually figure out what s wrong with it . $625 down the drain. DO NOT USE THEM FOR REPAIRS. We said from the get go (we are going to get robbed) we knew it. Shame on you.

I was sold a jeep with a warranty only to find out the next day that I don t fit the criteria for that warranty. 4 dry rotted tires, massive oil leak, front passenger wheel barring, it dies when idling, a/c stops working, and hood won t latch. Lots of issues for only having it for less than a month. Problems that I knew NOTHING about prior to the purchase of the jeep. Problems that didn t seem to exist when I purchased it. I am a single woman and I feel that they took advantage of that. So I asked for them to fix it. They finally get me scheduled only to find out that the water pump needed replaced...??? Where did that come from? So they fix the water pump and pay for half the price of my used tires. I drive it home and it over heats on me. So I contact them again, and they send someone to pick up the jeep, they said I could ride back with him for a rental. But they don t ask the address. they assumed my driver s license was my correct address. Unfortunately that s my mom s address so I wasn t there. I call them wondering where the guy is and they said I have to get it there myself if I wanted it to be looked at. And they would not be able to provide me with a rental. So it s my fault that they messed up and now I ve been waiting for them to be free so I can schedule a time. That happened 3 weeks ago. I paid $6000 cash for something that I can t even use. I highly doubt I would ever encourage anyone to buy from Babcock motors in

My parents have always gone here to get vehicles, but today I went to look for my first car to purchase thru financing and they were amazing! I felt no pressure and I was given options that fit into my budget and was able to test drive multiple cars and when I let them know which one I wanted to go with they broke down all the possible financing options and when the paperwork side was still going to take another week or so, they made sure to let me know that I had the car and they would set it aside for me till I could come back down since I live like 2hrs away. Just a great experience and I felt really good about my decision to go to Babcock motors! Great people great environment and no pressure!!

Seemed like a good dealership but they refuse to stand behind the vehicles they sell. I just went with my friend to buy a used Jeep and its broke down a couple times in the first month. I understand it's a used vehicle but they sold her a warranty when she purchased it but then said the vehicle wasnt in the warranty parameters and she couldn't get it...and now refuse to fix the vehicle in the first month since she bought it.

I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with 80k miles in May 2018, by October it failed an oil consumption test (burning 2 quarts of oil in between oil changes) and engine replaced. Less than a month later, in November, the transmission went out completely, requiring it to be towed in. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty, but the vehicle totalled up $4,434 in repairs in less than 6 months of ownership, with almost $600 of that out of my own pocket, not to mention the $1,000 for the warranty. It's been in the shop for a combined month and the "loaner" vehicles are a joke - one having a check engine light on and over 200k miles on it. Very unreliable for commuting to work.It is now February 2019, it has failed another oil change (burning oil in between changes), no leak, and I have to again have it in for an oil consumption test. The transmission is not fixed, still stuttering and not shifting and I believe there is powertrain issues.I spoke with the salesman, Steve, who said they could give me "up to" $10,300 on the vehicle for trade in, when I purchased it for $12,500 less than 9 months ago and barely put 10k miles on it. I was given some BS about depreciation for every 5k miles... interesting to know that they depreciate it's value $2,200, although it has almost $5,000 in "new" parts.This place is a joke and considering they will not stand by their vehicles and sales, I will be pursuing other actions to remedy this situation. Advise to stay away.

Enjoyed this place so much I went 3.days in a row.to visit ., The best car dealership I've dealt with for sometime. Great experience , The gentlemen from North Carolina , Randy , he was a great help , they were having a 4 day sale ,event , the key I got in flyer didn't fit a new vehicle nor did I win any of the cash drawings but I was handed a key by Randy that fit a Ford f-150 4�4 that came home with me , no I didn't win it but I like it , Babcock Motors liked me liking it !! I would recommend checking them before you buy. They were all great , of course they probably won't forget the hard headed lady for a few weeks lol. I got hugs from Mr Bob himself and 3 other salesmen the 3rd day of my visit as I was leaving with my new truck. I say thank you Babcock Motors at Orleans ,In

Every time I ve been there the salesman was extremely rude and pushy. Extremely overpriced and not willing to work with in my 25k budget (looking for a 8 year old used truck) shouldn t have been hard. I highly recommend John jones in salem

Honestly bought a car here and they told me that they replaced the breaks and the battery on it before buying it which I thought was a great deal. Payed $3500 for a car that sits in the shop in bloomington more than I drive it and I bought it in February. 3 sensors went out of it, along with the alternator, THE BATTERY THEY DIDN'T CHANGE (hasn't been changed since 2008), breaks that AGAIN WERE NOT CHANGED, the starter, tires, and bad roters. All going out in a short amount of time and they told me about no complications. And when I called them to talk about it, they pushed off getting me in to look at it and acted like they did not care for me much. Never going back again.

Good dealership but they need to offer warranties on everything they sell or stand behind it. My cousin bought a vehicle and purchased a warranty but then said she couldn't get it and now the car is broke down.
