I Scheduled appointment at 6 PM for an oil change yesterday on 3/27 an hour before they were closed. I received a phone call shortly after dropping off my car saying that there is a massive oil leak coming from my car. when I arrived. to see where the oil leak was coming from. The employee cannot find point out exactly where the oil leak was coming from. I noticed the plug that is used to keep the oil inside. The panel was halfway out. They tried to convince me that the screw was what is stripped when it was not how I basically knew is when I took my car up to Valvoline the next day to get a oil change they asked me who did my oil change last and basically let me know that whoever did my attempted to do my oil change last did it incorrectly, and that the plug that is used to keep my oil in the car was halfway out, which could potentially be dangerous I will never come back to this auto center again terrible service! I do not recommend getting a oil change from this Walmart 96th store 1557

Terrible service. They said they could do an oil change and then said they were unable to perform said oil change because of the splash guard (that s fine). The person working on my car left the oil engine cap off and oil got all over my car. Manager who helped me that day is no longer there (only 3 weeks later) as I left for holiday. I was told to asset protection at Walmart would get back to me but that was lip service to kick rocks. Cost me $90 to get the stuff cleaned up and serviced. Avoid at all costs it will cost you more money in the long run.

This is a good place to get a quick and fare priced oil change.

Short story short, I will never ever in the existence of my life on this planet ever buy tires or trust that Walmart auto centers do anything right. I went in for a simple tire change for my blown tire that I just blew on the expressway 200 miles away from home. I went in and asked to get it change out and put it on my van. That was a terrible mistake. First off I was told they had one car ahead of me just getting an oil change. So I proceeded to go shopping with my family to take up the time while I waited. 30 minutes goes by and I m done sitting on the curb waiting and still nothing, they didn t even touch the van. Two hours goes by and they still haven t touched it and have been letting other people get there cars serviced. It took two and half hours while my family was waiting on the curb for them to finish it. To top it all off they didn t replace what destroyed the other tire(the valve stem). So as I was driving home it drained to 25 psi and they almost cost me another $110 tire. I m so disappointed with Walmarts auto centers because this isn t the only instance that something has happened to me. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but was terribly wrong.

The main reason that you would go to Walmart for auto service is the price. Some of the services here are cheaper than other auto centers and in theory you could go to other Walmarts and get your car serviced after you have installs at one Walmart service center. The auto center in Fishers Indiana was an okay experience for me. They took longer than I would have expected and there were times when I was told that they might not be able to finish the work they had started but ultimately they finished.

Stopped in to check on tires that online said only one store had on clearance for $59 each and found out that they did have four of the tires and when they rang it up found out they came up $44 each win win

Got really good price on tires, but everything after that was terrible. Seems to be a complete lack of management. 4 calls went unanswered, they were closed during regular hours. Nobody working the desk. My tire order got messed up. My appointment wasn't honored. Tires were mounted backwards.Service: TiresService: Tires

Went in for a routine oil change very affordable under $30 bucks for a basic. Service was friendly and quick even though they were very busy depending on time expect a wait.

Terrible service. Showed up for my 9:00 appt. Sign said auto center closed even though they were suppose to open at 7. Had to go to customer service to have them paged. They were paged multiple times before someone finally came up. Told me the shop wasn't open and just stared at me. It felt like they just wanted me to leave and come back another time. I refused to back down and they became extremely rude. DO NOT COME HEREService: Tires

Terrible customer service immediately when we walked up to the desk. Girly was extremely rude and would not listen to our requests, talking down to us with an attitude. Needed two new tires, and requested that the two new tires be rotated to the front of the vehicle. When we picked up the car, we noticed the tires were not rotated and the old tires had not been topped off on air. When we asked if the problem could be fixed, Girly said it could not, because the service request had already been complete. She sure was happy to take our full payment amount for the incomplete job, though!Service: Tires

Billy Joe is the best. He listened, understood the issue, and made sure it was taken care of.Walmart should retain, reward, and encourage such problem solving employees.

Arrived early, they service you on a first come first serve basis, took advantage of the pit crew special $22.00 oil change. While they worked on my car my son and I shopped. Prompt, friendly service.

The internet stated that it was open, but they weren't. I had my car towed there to fix a flat.I had to call the store and auto center over 10x to get answer. I had to call the tow truck back and find another Walmart. Josh in Fisher helped me out. They only had one tech on duty that day.Several other customers assumed that it was open as well.

On my commute home my car was acting really strange. I ended up at this Walmart thirty minutes before they closed in desperate need of an answer to make sure my car would be okay to drive the rest of this week. I was told by one of the rude employees that there was no way he was going to look at my car last minute. The manager, Butch, ended up stepping in and told me what exactly was wrong was my car in less than 10 minutes making me feel better. He was in no rush, took his time to explain the problem with my car, and treated me like a friend. The only reason why I am writing this review is because of how kind and selfless Butch was to all of the customers who came in last minute while his other employee stood back. I couldn t be more thankful for his service today.

Website said the car battery was in stock, but it wasn't actually there. I think this is a bigger issue with the website.

Out of the world - alternate universe level pathetic customer service experience. Believe there is no service at all. The way they interact with customer, it seems we are serving them by bringing our vehicle and the way they engage (if they did at all) is mind numbing. Will never visit this store at 96th street, Indianapolis ever again for any auto care service.

They get 1 star because there wasn't an option to give 0. Ordered tires online from site to store pickup. The tires were supposed to be ready 3-4 days ago for pickup. The store has had them but they can't seem to process the order (which has now taken longer to "process" thank to actually ship).I. Called. Them. To tell them I would be in to get my tires since I could see from the tracking info they've had them a few days now. They told me they weren't there yet. (Really? Lying?) I told them the tires WERE there because I got a shipping confirmation the other day. They said I could not pick them up until I got an email from them saying they were ready.... THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE READY BY 2-3 DAYS AGO AT THE VERY LEAST. This is a waste of time. I was hesitant to order from Walmart and now I wish I wouldnt have. It would have been worth a little extra money to get the tires from somewhere else. They won't be getting any more of my business.

Always call before trying to go get service. Every time I've tried to visit this location for an oil change, their posted hours on Google say they're open and I drove by two signs saying they were open only to have the employee at the desk tell me they were closed and they're not open consistently. I visited at different times of day and on different days of the week, and I have no idea when they actually might be open.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this auto center. An employee named Jeff was extremely rude and condescending to me. He also told me they open at 7am and to get to the store as early as possible to drop off my car, I arrived at 8:30 and they were closed and a woman pulled up next to me saying they don t open until 10am due to lack of employees . You d think Jeff would let me know that when I asked. NEVER EVER will I use this auto center.

I'm from out of town, went to get 2 new tires, waited about an hour and a half, not as bad as some reviews here. When I went to go pay they refused to accept my card, didn't even get to swipe it, said it was the policy. Then instead of waiting for me to either go to customer service or get a different payment method, they took off the tires and put the old ones back on that had been bald to the metal, against my will. Then the cashier started swearing at me for, "wasting their time", which is ironic considering they wasted mine, what type of store is this. Sadly I'm a Walmart associate, and if this is how they treat co-workers, imagine how they treat complete strangers. These people put a dangerous car back on the road, that it how reckless and careless these mechanics are, just amazing. For those who don't know, you can also pay for your auto service at the customer service desk if the auto care center doesn't like your payment.Note: I did get video of them taking off the tires and also having the cashier swear at me, in the video the manager gives me permission to record, but as soon as he walked away, the cashier started swearing at me again and telling me I had no permission. I wasnt even recording him so, I don't know why you'd be so defensive unless you knew you were doing something wrong and didn't want proof. Honestly just sad.

This has been absolutely the worst experience for me, to the point that I will never come back to Wal-Mart Auto care and will never refer someone again.I went in with 3 popped tires hoping to get the changed as quickly as possible. They did not know what size tire and asked me to Google it and call back. I did, then a different man answered the second time. I asked if they had the tire I needed and he was more than elated to tell me they did not and he could not help me. So he told me to go online and order the size tire through Wal-Mart pick up. Apparently, they have the wrong sizes listed online because when they finally came in, they were the wrong size. I had to call them to find out, no one called me, and then they say I need a new rim on top of that. So I talked to Amber who was very helpful and sorry to hear of my unpleasant experience thus far. After waiting another 5 days for my order to come in, I had to call them, again, to find out the status of my car. I now needed 3 more rims, which you would think they would have checked after seeing the first rim. So I had to wait again for my rims to come in, again. So finally I get a call that my car is ready. I was charged for road hazard I had not asked for and charged for the balancing of a tire which should be inclusive of the tire change. All in all, I was very upset that I spent nearly a grand on 2 weeks of labor that should have been a couple days. I will never be spending a dime at Wal-Mart auto again and I hope no one is as displeased as I am

This is a very bad location. I went in at 730 am no other customers. I had tire work the clerk handed the keys threw the slot to mechanics and no exaggeration they stood and continued to just stand around and talk. When I asked about when they would start working on it. They both laughed in my face and said "we might get to it" I guess that sums up the way they do business. BUT THERE ARE NOT HURTING FOR BUSINESS. so I dont know maybe people do care more about price than service NOT ME

DAMAGED MY CAR BODY DOING TIRES.Against my better judgement, but because the location is so close, I took my car to Walmart on 96th 1/26/18 to have two tires replaced on the back of my car. I had read the reviews, but most of the complaints were about how long it takes for service and I was dropping it off. I mean how hard is it to replace two tires? Got my car back that evening. On Sunday morning I woke up and one of the rear tires that I had just purchased was flat so I took my car back over (all of this during much ice and snow might I add) and I was told their top tech checked it and re-sealed but they couldn't find anything wrong. On Tuesday I woke up on a flat again and drove it over. This time they told me the valve stem was bad and they replaced it. I didn't really want a tire that needed repaired as I purchased a new tire, but I left with my car. I noticed there was scraping and rubbing whenever i went over any raised surfaces. Upon my return home these photos show what I found. Mind you there was scraping and damage to the front bumper already but it wasn't hanging on the front driver side like in the photos. Also the silver part of the grill was intact one piece. Not any longer. Also there is an actual tear/smashing of the bumper on the driver side that is pulled out now. The whole thing is completely compromised now where previously it was only scraped and intact. I waited a few days to let my anger subside and went over, spoke manager Larry. He looked at it and said to the mechanic guy "what were they even doing in the front of the car when the tires she bought were in the back?" I requested that they check cameras as I had been there 3 times in the past week and they would see it wasn't dragging and pulled out the first two times I came to Walmart. I gave him all my information and he told me they would contact me. I contacted them a couple weeks later and he apologized all over himself for not contacting me prior. Evidently their internal investigation produced nothing. But I was welcome to come in and fill out more paperwork for their insurance company. I filled out the paperwork 2/26 and am awaiting another call back. Hopefully they do the right thing!Interesting it says I have uploaded the photos but they don't show.....I am in sales and it is rather disconcerting that they don't even reply or try to make right these reviews.UPDATE Presently I seem to be in an endless loop of calls/voicemails with Scott from the insurance company. I have requested twice now in my voicemail that when he leaves me a message that he tells me what time I can actually reach him when I call back. But it has only been 9 business days.

They do not take back bad batteries. The battery died after 3 months. Had it tested at a 3rd party and it fails a load test. Walmart refuses to do a load test and say the battery is fine. They will not replace it or give a refund honoring the warranty! Now they have the battery, but cannot find it. What a rip off! Good luck doing business with this place.

One of the better visits. Didn t have to wait anymore than an hour for my vehicle to be completed. That was for a Sunday. But, I don t know about the rest of the week.
