Tommy at the front desk is the man. Pretty cool guy, so great customer service and great prices. He applied a coupon for my work and I didn't give it to him yet. (I did have the same coupon)

First time coming here was today for an oil change in my truck. Mike and Tommy were great! They are very customer focused and trustworthy. I'll be coming back in the future as maintenance needs come up.

They have been my go-to mechanic. I've experienced honesty and generosity when it would've been very easy to make an extra dollar. Recently I had an oil leak. They diagnosed that it was a pinhole in the oil filter. Rather than replacing something unnecessary, with integrity they replaced the filter AND they did not even charge me! I was blown away!!!!

These guys are awesome! I ve brought my cars there for years and they re honest as the day is long and always find ways to save me money (my last issue ended up being a fluid level issue and they just took care of it). For over 15 years they ve been great and I highly recommend. I almost never wrote reviews but they deserve it.

To anyone that views this review, check out the Carx in Allisonville (Fishers). Ask for Tommy Cunningham he did a great job, along with his colleagues on my vehicle. He went above and beyond. He was assertive, respectful, & to the point. Thanks again Tommy 5

I NEVER write reviews on google, but I have to make an exception for this.I came in with 2 broken bolts from changing my spark plugs out, and Mike was more than willing to drill them out for me despite being the only technician in the building and having to work the front desk simultaneously. He even factored in the time he took running back and forth in the labor charge and only charged me $54 for the repair. That s less than half of what i was expecting to have to pay.Would highly recommend this branch to anyone needing a repair done, I m not usually a fan of big name repair shops but these guys are definitely in your best interest.

I never write reviews, ever, but this place was too good not to.One note of warning, if you don't make an appointment, you want to be there in the first half hour they're open, 7:30-8am.In about 90 minutes, the team here was able to:-change my oil-replace a brake light (which I didn't know I needed until they pointed it out to me)-patch up holes in my windshield wiper fluid tank (which I thought would require replacing the whole part, but they could do it with a good layer of tape)All for less than $80 with the coupon for oil changes that they always have running. I'll be coming back next time I need an oil change, or any other maintenance on my car. Maybe I'll come back to have them handle the rust it's starting to get, just to experience their service again!

Took my car in to Midas asking for a water pump replacement, so they hand pressure tested it and confirmed what I already knew and charged me $66 to do so. Then they quoted me $974 with me supplying the new water pump from autozone. So I went down the road to CarX and got it done with a military/veterans discount which included a better water pump supplied by them for total of only $470; that's a $609 difference in labor costs etc.! Although being a former military helicopter mechanic sure I could do it myself if I bought the tools. Moral of the story is always get a second opinion/quote, and be careful who your friends refer you to get work done. Also midas didn't correctly reconnect my air intake so the traction control was affected negatively causing the car to jolt when put into gear; no biggie I can fix that.

I was passing through Indianapolis from Bloomington, I had an oxygen sensor that I could not get off. I called them last minute five hours before they closed hoping that they would be able to help. Bill was extremely friendly and willing to help.They were able to squeeze me in and have that part replaced in a few hours. I already had the new part, I just needed it installed. I expected a three-figure bill, and I expected it to take a lot longer than it did. To my surprise, they only charged me $54. They did an absolutely fantastic job, and the mechanic Shawn even came out when I picked up my car and explained to me what happened. Very friendly guys, very reasonably priced.While I was checking out, there was a woman in front of me who had a splash guard that had fallen off. That is a very simple fix, and in the auto industry more so than other fields, time is money. It s a simple fix and it really should cost at least some money. However, Bill told the woman to give him about 15 minutes and he ll re-attach it for free. That s without knowing if it would need any parts to re-attach it.In my pictures below, you can see how I absolutely murdered this sensor trying to get it out. I drive an 05 Durango just for reference, and the sensor was the Bank 1 Sensor 2. I also have the picture of the completed work. The grey discoloration on the pipe is the thread lock, the new sensor came with an excessive amount already spread on the threads so it oozed out as the sensor was screwed in.As the old saying goes, you do a good job and 10 people hear about it. You do a bad job and 100 people hear about it. I hope that more than 10 people see this review! Tip of the cap to Bill and the entire Car-X crew at the Fishers location! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Car-X on Allisonville Road in Fishers!

Mike gave me a great deal in price and service for replacing a leaky exhaust flex pipe joint and pipe in the middle of the exhaust system on my 2006 Toyota Sienna. The work was done that day.

It's hard to find a car shop you can trust. I've been coming here for about 20 years. They have always been very dependable and trustworthy. I love you guys. Small town shop in the city. Awesome!

The service I received on my car was a new battery replaced , new rear rotors and rear brake pads replaced.I was pleased with the service and price. I went in for brake service on Friday 6/16. I had arguably the best experience I have ever had with a car repair. Steve noticed the car seats in the back of my car and wanted to make sure I had the best service for my family. Tommy and Mike treated me like family, chatting with me while I waited and providing the best customer service along with excellent quality of work and understanding. I didn't feel like I was just a brake job to them, but an actual person. Going forward, they will get all of my business including brakes for my other car (when needed), oil changes, any anything else I need. Thank you guys! You don't know how much I appreciate you!!!

My catalytic converter was unfortunately stolen last night. After I discovered what happened I called Car X and the manager Mike Booher answered. Mike and his team got me right in and they were able to repair my car the same day. He took his time answering my questions and made sure my car was taken care of the right way. I would recommend this place to anyone with a car needing maintenance, whether it be routine or an emergency. Thanks again to Mike and his team! Much appreciated.

Tommy to the rescue! We ve taken cars here for years and they have always done us right. They are straight forward even if it takes money from their pocket. My niece was stranded across Allisonville today and Tommy came right over immediately and got it running for us to get it home. This is our 4th interaction with Car X and every single time has been awesome.

Always great customer service! The techs and front desk staff have taken care of me for 15+ years; I recommend them to friends and family. If you sign up for their rewards program they send emails for coupons, and offer additional discounts using their rewards key-tag card. I usually donate non-perishable food items to local food pantries to get a $10.00 off oil change discount.Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I called Car-X on a Tuesday afternoon because my car died at work. I spoke with Mike who asked a few questions about the problem and I told him I would have my car towed to their shop. Mike gave me a realistic time frame to diagnose the issue and I got a call the next morning with the issue and estimate. I was back on the road that same afternoon. I m very impressed with the superior customer service I received and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I had an issue with my car after visiting another car shop to get my ac system fixed, my vehicle kept dying when I was idling. I called Car x and they said they might not be able to get to it that day, but would atleast have done by the next day. It only took them two hours to diagnose the issue and replace my solenoid. Car is running great! Very reasonably priced! Quick, efficient, and kind. Thank you Mike and Steve!

Tech Calvin changed the timing belt on my Ford Escape. He said he'd have it done by 3 and he did. It feels like it runs better and more quiet than before. Very professional and highly recommend him and CarX for your auto repair needs.

They are always super nice and always tell you everything that s wrong. They can be a little expensive, especially for a college student but they usually will knockdown the price if you ask or use their coupons. Regardless I m happy to pay the price knowing my car is okay and safe to drive. They also make it super convenient to drop off your car if you are busy. I drive out of my way to make sure I take my car to car-x because I know I m going to get a good serviced!Services: Tires, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Set up an appointment to drop off my car at noon for a brake job. Handed over the keys with no expectation to have my car back same day. Joey Chamberlain called me a couple hours later and informed me that I really didn't need pads, but the rear rotors needed to be replaced and quoted me a fair price for the work. I asked him to go ahead and replace the pads since I'm turning the car over to my teen son. Joey called back in three hours and told me my car was done and good to go.I appreciate the timely and straightforward communication, fair price, and the evidence that this is a well-run business in the form of thank you letters from customers posted in the waiting area.Pretty sure I'm going to CarX first for future auto repair / inspection work, I recommend this business.Service: Brakes
