The service was great considering what a busy night they had. The desk staff was friendly and provided extra pillows and clean lines for the sofa bed.Clean bathroom, clean room. The mattress was way too soft, but was tolerable. The location was easy to get to and was within driving distance to everything we needed.I would stay here again.

The service was great and very accommodating. The price was good. The breakfast was good. My issues are the bed being as hard as the floor. Bring an air mattress or just sleep on the floor. It's the same. I'm still trying to get my spine back to normal and my arms to wake up. The toilet was tiny and didn't always flush. It looked like a toy toilet in a kindergarten. I felt like I was going to break it. The walls of the room were so thin I could hear the guy next to us planning out his week in detail over the phone. He's got a lot to do and I wish him the best. Some poor soul below us snored so loud I could hear it through the floor. I thought briefly about tracking him down to check on him because it was rough. Luckily, at some point he either rolled over or died in his sleep because it got quieter. I am not impressed and I'm adding this to my list of hotels to never return to.

Appears to be the newest motel at this exit along I-70. The exterior looked great. Checkin was easy and helpful with a smile. Rooms are so-so. Noticed the plumbing fixtures were cheap like they were consumer grade. This place was evidently stocked with used furniture. Couch upholstery was spotty with hole in the hassock. All in all, an ok night of rest if you're just in-and-out and not too picky. Breakfast didn't start until 7:00 AM, after we departed.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Nasty dirty place. They refused to give my money back after 10 mins of being there. To start off there was a guy who was drunk and had a seizure and was cussing after he hit the floor and ended up checking in (a regular apparently) room was right next to the front desk and the workers went into his room while we were waiting. Rooms are nasty and don t care about the customer. My daughter ended up having an anxiety attack during the process. I wish I had gotten more pictures because the walls looked like they had never been cleaned. There was a handprint on the headboard and some kind of fluid on the bottom of bed. we didn t make it to the bathroom because we immediately walked out and went back down stairs to check out. Please do not stay here especially if you don t want to catch something or bring something home with you. On top of it all the housekeeping people were all cracked out and high, it was very obvious.Edit update: they replied with a complete lie. I knew we couldn t check in early and waited until 3 pm to check in and never once was mad so why they replied and said that vs what really happened tells all. So again do not stay here not only are they dirty and steal they also lie. I pray for this company and people because they definitely are doing wrong to others. They definitely could use some Jesus in their life s

On my second night, I encountered bed bugs in my room. I woke up at 1:00am, with itchy welts on my face, neck, hands and arm; after a few minutes of tearing apart the bed and pillows, I found a live bed bug, which I photographed and captured under a cup. I called the front desk, the agent said she would be to my room soon. I packed up all my things and met her in the hall, she went into the room with me, but didn't document anything, or even look at the captured bug, I said I didn't want to spend any more time in the room, but asked if she needed to take pictures , she responded "I don't get near those nasty little things", so we headed downstairs. She offered a room on the first floor, I took it, since it was now about 1:30am. I asked if there was laundry onsite as I needed to act fast and start remedying this unfortunate event, she pointed out the location of the machines, I asked for soap, she provided liquid detergent in a cup, and since she didn't offer the $4.00 in quarters to do a load of laundry, I gave her $4.00 for quarters. I also asked for Lysol spray but was told they don't have any, she did provide disinfecting wipes. I stayed up the next few hours washing all my items and showering. After getting only a few restless hours of sleep, at 8:15am, with my belongings now in garbage bags, I went to the front desk. I told the man my name and original room number, asked if he was aware of my 'experience' (choosing to be tactful and not broadcast to the other guests in the lobby that there are bed bugs in the hotel) and what I was to expect now, he confirmed that he knew but seemed dumbfounded as to what to say next just staring at me, so I asked if he was the manger, he said no, so then asked to speak to the manager, he said they're not in yet, we went back and forth with me trying to figure out when the manager would be available, because of his mumbling of sounds and words that I mostly wasn't able to make out, I finally got to the conclusion that the manager usually comes in between 8:30 and 9am, I could only wait until 8:45, at that time I told the man I could no longer wait and I expect a call from the manager as soon as possible and also to let them know I expect a full refund at minimum, as the inconvenience of this situation has been extremely problematic to my trip, he confirmed my phone number and email, which he struggled to recite to me. At 1:00pm, I had still not heard from anyone, so I called and spoke with the same man, I asked if the manager was available, he replied that one night had been refunded by the GM, I explained that I would still like to speak with them as that was not a satisfactory solution, he said they were 'busy', I said to have them call me as soon as possible. Two days later I still have not heard from anyone, my card has been charged for the 3 nights, I stayed 2, I currently see a refund pending for one night. I received no apology or any indication of empathy from the two employees I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with or the property's GM. There clearly is no plan in place for handling these situations, which there should be as this is not an uncommon occurrence for hotels. On top of the added expense of buying new clothes, changing plans with family that I came to visit, finding a new place to stay, time spent juggling items into bags to avoid the risk of spreading bugs, I have days ahead of me dealing with this, the bites on my face and neck are embarrassing, having to leave all of my luggage bagged up after I'm home, the itching and welts of the bites on my neck that will likely last one to two weeks, all while the hotel staff has chosen to barely acknowledge my experience, couldn't even give me a few minutes for a phone call, now I have to spend time fighting to get my money refunded or call my bank to decline the charges. My expectation is that the hotel wouldn't want any of their guests to pay for this experience, would show some sympathy and at least refund me since there is literally no other way to help. Shame on this hotel and it's employees.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel for a business trip with the entire family. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee machine! Average but good hot meal for continental breakfast. We left early each morning and came in late each night. My only complaint was the AC/heat didn't have a fan always on option as we sleep with a fan. The fan in the bathroom sufficed but we had to prop the door closed with a towel as the light/fan switch was one and the mirror across the door bounced the light all over the room. It was a lovely hotel and we choose best western regularly because we like their beds even if it was a little overpriced for our needs. Our major need is always a good night's sleep.Food & drinks: Loved the coffee machine!

These people WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!When I made my reservation I declared that we had a REGESTERED, LICENSED SRVICE DOG WITH US."NO problem" they said. When we checked in, I declared that we had a REGESTERED, LICENSED SRVICE DOG WITH US."NO problem" they said.I signed and initialed the "room rate agreement" for $99.25Two days later, when I checked my credit card bill they had charged me $127.00!!When I called the desk attendant to ask her to check on it, she asked, "Well, didn't you have a pet?" I explained to her that I declared our registered, licensed service dog to both the reservations agent, and the desk clerk when we checked in.(Notice in their reply below, they lie again, saying we "did not mention we had a pet!!" These folks are unbelievable!!)I also explained to her that Indiana law states:Indiana law and the ADA prohibit public accommodations from charging a special admission feeor requiring you to pay any other extra cost to have your service animal with you."Well I'll pass this on to the billing manager." she said.I requested a phone call from the "business manager" which never came. Two days later I happened to be back in the same area, which happens to be my hometown.I had to threaten to bring a Clay Co. Sheriff's deputy and arrest someone for theft in order to get my refund! This is one of the many hotels owned and managed by non-American trespassers who only care about money and ripping people off!If you have any American pride or values whatsoever, I ask you not to give your patronage to this dishonest business. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

They young lady in th evening was amazing! She was very helpful! Are TV wasn't working neither did our phone. She was able to fix the TV. But didn't know why our phone wasn't working. Which was OK because we have cell phones. The rooms looked OK. Bed wasn't that comfortable. The air conditioner took all night to get cold. The bathroom was gross. For being renovated there should have been no reason why the bathtub was as dirty as it was. It was gross. It is the only hotel I've ever seen where the tub was dirty, you could see all the dirt as if someone went and rolled in dirt and then took a bath for 2hrs. They didn't wipe down the bedside tables. You can tell where someone put a drink on it. When we went downstairs to eat breakfast at 9:30, they told us breakfast ended at 9am!? I've stayed in other Best Western's and the breakfast was open till 10:30... who the hell ends Breakfast at 9? The housekeeper that helped us back into our room was really nice tho! But this hotel needs to step their game! Your Business act like one! Very disappointed that I feel I got ripped off. The room should have been half the price I paid for it!

Rooms are pretty clean. Checked in on Thursday and stayed til Tuesday. Ac wasn't working. We kept asking for them to fix it or switch rooms. "Maintenance man" went up a few times and just hit the reset switch, which did nothing. They just shut the thermostat off and handed us a dirty fan. It took 3 days in an 80-degree room and numerous complaints for them to switch the rooms so that we had air. Housekeepers were all nice enough, but the fake maintenance guy and front desk staff are extremely lacking. I'd say the company should make it right, but I'm sure they will just say some nonsense about sorry your stayed fell short of expectations. And give us a chance again or some junk. Anything but hey, let us make this right.

Would have given it 4 stars but the pool was still closed as of 6/15 and staff couldn't give a reason as to why. Not the end of the world, but extremely disappointing. Rooms were clean, no signs of bugs that I saw under the mattress or bedding. Breakfast was better than some I've had, but still a typical hotel breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms: Clean to my standards. Checked for bugs under mattress and bedding and saw nothing.Food & drinks: I've had worse continental breakfasts. Nothing to get excited about, but not bad.

I don't think this is a plus motel .The bed was like sleeping on a box spring with no mattress or a piece of plywood with a 2-in foam pad would have been better, this place is kind of stuck in the same time it was probably built. 16-in TV lol had to have the front desk gentlemen to come up And fix the TV ,so it would even operate. This place needs an update,They did the lobby to fake out the people to make them feel like it was a modern. The young man at the front desk in the evening of September 26th was (awesome)

Hotel was overall nice. The young girl checking me and was very nice and accommodating. I was disappointed when I got to the room and it was about 30. Freezing cold. Took forever to warm up. Seems like they can afford to at least make it a comfortable temperature when you first get here. Also for such a nice place and such a healthy price you think they can afford nicer mattresses. I ve slept on way more couple mattresses and way lower priced hotels. No bedbug cover just a hard spring mattress. Not a very good nights rest.Rooms: The mattress was very hard. My back is killing me.

Convenient location and decent parking for a last minute Friday night stop. However, walls are paper thin and pictures rattle when a nearby door slams. Bed was firm but not really supportive for me. Pillows look fluffy but have no real support, as is common. Expect to hear toilets flushing and draining down the sewage lines in the wall if you re on the first or second floor. Staff didn t offer points or acknowledge our rewards status which isn t a big deal but was noteworthy.Families with babies be warned: you have to pay $25 to use their pack-n-play, which I ve never experienced anywhere! Doesn t matter if you re a Diamond Select member or not. I declined as I had another option but for that price, it had better have all the attachments for a changing table too!

The room was dirty, smelled like wet dog. The mattress was horrible. I have allergies to dogs and dust, there was an inch thick dust on headboard. Requested a new room, was asked why, my husband explained about my allergies and the bed was like sleeping on rocks, was told they were booked. We had driven 12 hours and was exhausted but we checked in at 8 pm and checked out at 12am. Went to another hotel.

My husband and I came here for a conference and were staying in this hotel, which is lovely from the outside and lovely inside, but after just one night here we have already had issues. They don't do housekeeping at all, you have to go pick up your own towels and bring them your trash and get trashbags yourself, which is not very nice when youre staying in a hotel but could be forgiven if the staff werent completely rude. I literally stood in front of one of the attendants for 10 minutes waiting for him to finish a task, he finished 2 separate tasks with zero intention of even acknowledging I was there so I had to get his attention even though we were right in front of each other, and all I was doing was asking for towels and trash bags, he gave me towels then walked into the other room and just stood there waiting for me to leave. I did not get my trashbags. They're understocked on everything and don't seem to have the staff they need to support this hotel. Their guest laundry and fitness room are currently "under renovation" so keep that in mind if you come here.Rooms: The rooms are pretty, but since there is no housekeeping they get dirty pretty fastNearby activities: There isn't much in the area, but the town is very cute with some little shops that are fun to walk throughSafety: They leave their fire doors propped open despite it going against fire code.Food & drinks: They have very minimal selection and seem to be out of almost everything

Don't ever stay here, these people steal your money and then there's zero communication from the management team about getting your money back. I will never stay at another best western ever! Save your self a headache and stay somewhere else. I stayed here in July and the triple charged both my bank account and my credit card. I got all the money back and then almost a month later the decided to charge my credit card another $1000. Don't ever stay here! This is in response to the owners response.... I agree you guys refunded us, however a month later I was charged $1066.33 on my credit card and get zero response from anybody I talk to other than the manager that was working on this is not here. She won't be here til Sunday. So now I have a charge just sitting on my card for no reason a month later. If that's not stealing, I dont know what is. I will never stay at another Best Western, especially yours. I will keep telling people about the HORRIBLE customer service. After I get my refund, this time, im closing the account so you can't steal from me again.

Limited big truck parking. I asked the staff if there was truck parking. I was in a 26' Uhual with a tow dolly that can not be backed up due to the double swivel. I made sure to say it twice that I could not back the truck up, and they assured me both times there would be no problem. After pulling to the truck lot, there was no way to avoid backing up. Needless to say, after 1 hour of maneuvering, detaching, and re-loading cars, I did not stay at this hotel.

Hotel experience EXCELLENT!My only complaint was about other guest not respecting the NO SMOKING POLICY. Not only did I get woken up at 2 am for the fire alarm going off because of a smoker. I also woke up at 4am to my room filled with smoke because of a smoker. I lost both of my lungs in 2016.. not to smoking. If your a smoker please go outside EVEN IF it's 19F and snowing. It's YOUR HABIT and not anyone else's.Thank you hotel staff for the EXCELLENT STAY!

Stopped here on my way from MI to OK. Positives: The rooms were clean, and the service was great. Negatives: the beds were super hard but I was exhausted so it didn't matter much and like many other hotels the insulation between rooms was lacking so I could hear my neighbor's baby screaming half the night. Breakfast was the usual, but it was hot and ready when I came down a few minutes past 7am.Would I stay here again? Maybe... depends on how exhausted I am due to the beds being like a brick. The only bed I've slept on that was worse than this one was in Ethiopia, where the bed was literally a slab of wood with foam and sheets on top.
