I was impressed with this place on a Saturday morning.I had never been here before. They opened a few minutes before opening time and there was multiple friendly staff to help out. The bays quickly filled up. The work was professional and fast with a good price.

Wife came to have tires rotated, ended up having issues. Juan and Caleb both very professional and up front. Took care of the problem without hesitation. This kind of customer service is unheard of anymore. Can not thank them enough for listening and caring about our issue and offering a quick resolve! Highly recommend to see the crew here

I went in today and had the best experience! They made sure my car was right before i left. They were honest and very accommodating.I left my keys and to my surprise the manager caleb drove to my house and handed me my keys! Im a customer forever! Thanks guys.

Good experience. Bought 4 brand new tires. Wish the prices were lower or they had promos on the tires if you purchased all 4. Had an appointment, and after checking in, they got right to work. They were busy, but the service was fast. Customer service was good.

I had taken my car in for a rotation and balance. Shortly after the state reopened from the lockdown. As I pulled into the parking lot, there was a tent set up with a young man sitting at a table. He approached at my window very polite. I had an appointment there at 11:15am. He checked his list to make sure I was indeed scheduled for that time. He explained to me that I needed to Park in a spot and someone would be with me shortly. Reminding me to please have my mask on. When another young man came out to double check what I was needing and to examine my tires. It was then that he told me that my tires were too bad they were going bald beyond what was safe and that I would not be able to get the rotation and balance because they weren't safe that I would need four new tires. I didn't know what to do before talking to my spouse. so I told him that I would have to reschedule something at a later date. As I left my spouse called we discussed it and decided that he had given me a really great deal at $180 for four new tires,plus the rotation and balance. I ran to the ATM in the middle of lunch rush hour on the west side. By this time it was 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I called back to see when I could come back in and they told me I could come right then. The same routine with the young man under the tent, I parked in a spot 10 minutes later the gentleman comes and directs me to drive my car into the garage. I got out of the car I went and sat in a chair under a tree that they had spaced apart for people to sit while waiting on their cars. About 20 25 minutes later the same gentleman told me to go inside and there I could pay, I paid and was out of there within 35 minutes. Everything runs smoothly they were on top of everything everyone that was there waiting seem to be pleased with how fast that they were operating. Outstanding service fast and affordable!

Had an appointment for 4:45 arrived at 4:30. First they lost the key to the vehicle then they had to find the key to the vehicle. They finally got the car into change the tires at 5:45. The car would not be done until after 6 o clock And all they could say was sorry. Very poor customer service

What great people here! Came early in the morning because I had a flat time on relatively new tires. I had a nail in the tire I picked up. They got me in and out in great time. Thank you for making my bad day better. You guys rock.

Got there at 4:40 pm checked in was told truck would be done 7-7:30. 7:40 they finally took my truck back to start on it. They literally took everyone ( even the people who came in after me) before mine.!! Finally got mine done about 8:10pm. Everyone who was in line around me was told theirs would be done in about an hour. I had called and had my tires on put on hold earlier today so I knew they would still have them. They said they closed at 6 and it would only take about 20 mins a tire. I had 2 put on.

The last time I went to Discount Tire, 5 years ago, I waited 3 hours to get my tires changed with a 1PM appointment. Yesterday, 11/28/2020, I had a 10AM appointment and my Expedition was in a bay at 10:02 and I was back on the road at 10:40! The entire staff was courteous and polite while dealing with all the COVID-19 protocols. Whoever is running that place now is doing a great job and the tire technicians that serviced my vehicle were great!

Great staff and cooperative to make sure you are placed in the right tires at their best price.UPDATE.FEBRUARY 4, 2021Has to come in twice today. I had scheduled a visit for putting new wheels on my Jeep in the late afternoon but had to bring my "hunting vehicle" in for a flat tire around 10am.No issues and they took care of it lckity split! Just sign my name and out the door.Came back at 430pm for the wheel/tire swap and once again, after they listed to my frazzled apologies for not being prepared and other assorted tales, they performed just what I changed my needs to (based on I COULDNT FIND my other new wheel) and once again after another visit and telling of tales, they had me on my way and opened the door for my return tomorrow.I can't say enough about their crew, current and ones who have departed for other Discount Tire Store locations. They treat you with respect, candidly and supportive.You just can't ask for a better combination...See new photos below on this blustery, frigid day that I just took.

I needed 4 tires so I traveled 1 hour to come here to purchase them. When I arrived they took my info, inspected my car, and I paid for the tires. I was quoted a 5 hour wait time, which is laughable, but they were busy so I didn t argue. After wandering around the area for 5 hours, I come back to an unfinished car. The salesman is holding my hub rings in hand saying they don t fit. He talked to me in a condescending tone, as if I didn t know what hub rings were or how they worked. I told him that they fit because I bought them at a different discount tire, and to just install them. Had he done that, I would ve been out in 5 minutes. Instead, he doubled down that they were the wrong ones. He spent 10 minutes looking the system, only to find out that they re the right ones, like I had said. Then spent another 20 minutes installing hub rings LOL. I think the tech forgot to install them, and the manager lied to cover his back. Another customer could ve walked out of there with their hub rings missing, simply because the techs didn t feel like doing a quality job. The discount tire in normal/bloomington is terrible, so I thought maybe the one further away would have better service. I ve come to find out they re pretty consistent on how bad they are. I used to work for them 3 years ago, and it s sad to see how downhill they ve come in terms of customer service.

It's a very busy place. One employee told me over the phone that I didn't need an appointment for tire rotation. I get there and another employee tells me that I need an appointment or wait for many hours. (I live 40 miles away.) I've received excellent service here in the past. If you're good at what you do, you'll get the business.

I have purchased tires and wheels for multiple vehicles over the years. Always had a good experience until lately. Waiting hours even with an appointment and seeing empty bays has me rethinking where I will purchase tires and wheels in the future. Looking at all the people waiting as if they just ran a marathon. I hope they are listening to the customers because I would like to see it the way it was just a few years ago.

Great place to get your new tires. They have a great selection from multiple brands and at various budget ranges. Bought a set of 4 Michelins back in November of 2019 for my daily sedan and recently had an issue with 2 rear tires possibly caused by another local shop, which I would rather not get into in this review.Anyway, they replaced them under Discount Tire extended warranty with brand spanking new ones at no cost to me. They also balanced prior to releasing the vehicle back to me. Both the service writers and technicians were really easy to work with; they're quote friendly, very accommodating and professional. Due to covid restrictions, they have customers pull the cars in themselves, so they don't even get into your cabin, which was cool with me. I ended up buying another extended warranty, which costs a fraction of the price of new tires. If they ever offer it to you, definitely do take it, if you plan on keeping your car long term (at least 5 years). I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, with no drama or issues from the staff whatsoever.I've noticed some prices went up a bit over time, possibly due to inflation and rising costs of doing business; however, hope these guys are making more too, for how many people they service daily at this super busy branch, conveniently located near by other shopping attractions.

Arrived at 8:40am with no appointment for a simple tire rotation (no balancing as they charge $21 per tire) was told estimated wait time was 10:00-10:15. Once 10:15 rolls around I notice my car hasn t been moved, asked what the hold up was said 4 more people were ahead of me. After stating I need to be at work by 11 they told it would take at least another hour. Tire rotation is a free service so feels like they only cared about paying customers which is understandable. By no means should it take 2+ hours to rotate 4 tires. First and last time being a discount tire customer. I highly recommend having a 2nd ride so you don t have to wait around for what felt like eternity. Now I m late to work

I initially talked to Josh and he was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I had researched tires on your website and had 2 sets picked out. When he did his search we matched on our selections and I made an appointment.I came in on March 1 and everyone I talked to was very polite and helpful. My tires were mounted and I love the new ride. It's weird to be excited about new tires but the difference is amazing.Long time Discount Tire customer from my days in Colorado, still extremely pleased.

In short Discount Tire is not what it used to be; wait times and check ins are a mess and information is not consistent nor relayed correctly across team members. Staff and leadership need to be trained better and management should be readily available for anyone that needs to talk with them.I went to this location over the weekend and the wait was about 5-10 minutes to speak to someone to buy 4 new tires for the low cost of 1200$. I ask about setting up an appointment to save time on install when they come in, the tech told me that's not needed as they have less appointments open now as Discount Tire keeps changing how they do check ins (his words). He said coming in at anytime is just as fast as someone who makes an appointment.I get a call 2 days later telling me my tires are in and that when I'm ready for install just give them a call to check in ( expedites the process). I call today to check in around 11:30AM, get there at 11:50 and wait in line for about 10 minutes as they only have 2 people running the counters. I get in, check in and he takes information again, checks tires ( not sure why since they are being replaced and I showed up on Saturday to take care of all this). He quotes me an hour and since I did advance check in there were only 5 cars in front of me. I came back at 1:15-20PM and waited in line for another 10 minutes ( only 2 people working again) and he tells me there are still 3 cars in front of me and its probably going to be another hour, might be done by 2:30PM. He did apologize for me being quoted the wrong times and the delays. During this time the line had grown to probably 8 more people or more behind me and the phones continued to ring for over 3 minutes striaght ( no one was available to answer) Had I known this was going to be a 3 hour tire change I would not have come in today. I asked for the refund of my tires as I no longer wanted them along with the mangers card. The employee was unable to locate the managers card but gave me a card with a name and the stores number.. I called and it just rang and rang. The employee gets an A+ for handing the situation well but Discount tire Gets a D+ for their training, wait times, check in process. I find it disheartening that they didn't even care to make it right or get a manager/supervisor for me to talk to.

I had a slow leak for awhile and planned on making an appointment in the next week. However I went to air up my tire and noticed the valve was broken and leaking air QUICKLY. I went to discount tire and they were packed, but did not bat an eye when we realized I would be getting all new tires instead of just a new valve. They had 39 cars to do around 5PM and did not sugarcoat it when they said my car wouldn t be ready until 9PM. I went home, periodically checked on that status via the link they sent me and sure enough I got a text saying my car was ready at 8:57PM! They were available for me to pick it up still that late. I can t believe they were still working on everyone s cars. Every worker I came in contact was very kind and helpful throughout the process. Would recommend

Update...truck was not ready until right before they closed. Almost 6 hours when we were told it'd be a few.Husband and I called for 2 hrs this morning before someone actually answered to make sure they had tires for his truck. Everywhere else is saying at least Tuesday, but we couldn't wait as he blew a tire last night and driving on spare. Finally, talk to someone, and they have them, we ask to make an appointment, and we're told to just head in as everyone gets same day service. Here it is almost 4 pm, and we dropped the truck off around noon. The tracker shows they still haven't even started on his truck, and they close in 2 hours. It's a 40-minute drive back there for us, so hopefully, they get it done in time for him to have his truck to go to work tomorrow. Will not be back even though this is where I've bought my last 3 sets of tires for other vehicles. It has gone way downhill with no accountability with how customers are treated. Short staffing is no excuse because if you're that short staffed, you shouldn't be taking in more vehicles than you can work on.

They repaired the $500 tire from my Corvette perfectly and the customer service was fantastic - they are always happy to help. Fast service too! I like how you get updates on your phone throughout the entire process until you pick it up. They do all my tire work on my vehicles and I have never had an issue! Recommended!

Just had 4 new tires put on by Discount Tire on Veteran's Parkway in Springfield. Price was right. Customer service was top notch. Tires are excellent. Car drives smooth as butter now. We are happy customers. We will definitely be returning in the future and recommending to all of our friends and family. A+++

I showed up late, they still fit me in, eta was accurate to within 5 minutes, guys are always fast and polite.Thanks Discount tire for being a safe, clean place my elderly family didnt have anxiety over sitting in waiting room.
