I just want to say i appreciate the professionalism of the morning manager Chet. Me and my wife came in a few weeks ago for a a oil change and estimate for a couple repairs.We was greeted by a young man named Jarvis at the front but he seemed to have an attitude with us as we asked if you guys was open, but in all we assumed it was just morning anger so we pulled arround back no issue,as he guided us in more anger erupted,so he came to window i smelled a acholic odor coming from him. In which we cant judge no one,so Chet came out and asked how can he help us,so he did the oil change and gave a good price on estimated price.Also gave us a discount for our small trouble and assured us this encounter will not happen again as a elderly couple we want to see our young men succeed in life we are praying for you Jarvis that everthing will be better for you and we are praying for the route 38 family that God continue to bless your company we will be back in few weeks for the front end repairs God bless.

Special people special place doing special things for the public and doing it with integrity route 38 I applaud you keep up the good work! Shout out to the detailer that they have there Tevin doing a great job I recommend them for your detailing needs if you have them.

Went to another shop for an oil change and they forgot to screw in the cover for the bottom of my car so it was scrapping as I was driving. I was en route trying to drive back to the same shop I went to earlier and saw Route 38 on the side of the rode. Happy I stopped in right before they closed. The staff was really friendly and jumped right in to help free of charge. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Should ve gone here for my oil change!

LONG POST ALERT If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! I was having engine issues with my car. I took it to Autozone to have a diagnostic done on it first. I then took my car to a highly recommended mechanic on Mannheim who looked at the printed form from Autozone and told me to go back there and get the sensors listed on the form. Something told me to stop at Route 38 to get a second opinion I m so grateful that I did!! I felt welcomed from the moment I pulled my car in. There was a very intelligent, super kind guy who came to the car and asked what was wrong with it. I said nothing but The Check Engine Light Came On . I wanted to see if he d say something different. He said I hear sounds, leave the car running so I can look under the hood. He looked under the hood and in 2 mins this guy literally told me what my car was doing and why it was doing it!! I was so impressed!! Mind you he didn t even drive the car, he just looked under the hood. I don t know the correct terms but he said your car is making this sound because something is leaking. Your car is shaking a little and stalling when you stop because this part is overcompensating for this part that needs to be replaced which is activating multiple sensors. Turns out my car didn t need any sensors at all. And what could ve been very expensive for me turned out to be very reasonable. I did NOT feel scammed or overcharged as I normally do when leaving a car shop. They even offered me chicken and let me charge my phone! I told them that they have a FOREVER customer. Keep up the great work guys. I ll drop by with you all some chicken and donuts soon. Thanks so much!!

I rarely make reviews but i must say im very impressed with this team of workers.The young man Chat helped me alot with an issue i was having that the dealership wanted$ $4k to fix.He had me in tears when he was able to diagnose and fix the issue in a timely matter,I appreciate this shop you will see me and my family/friends again the near future. I have been there several times. Until the last time good service, reasonable prices, great treatment. Must be new owner. Tried to scam me into buying all kinds of flushes: engine, breaks and more. Don't need them and they may actually harm your car. When I pointed out the manual on my car calls for oil change every 7500 miles and their sticker says 3000 the guy running the place said that was for synthetic oil. I checked manual and it is not. Blatant lie. Very discourteous and confrontational. Not only won't I go back but 3 other family members who live nearby and we're regulars won't either. Why won't they learn honesty, quality and fair prices draw customers. Scamming may get a few extra dollars once but you lose long term.Service: Oil change

Fast/quick service & Great oil change & brake pad price for my avalon. Affordable prices. Open on Sunday. I've had no problems with their service. They've now serviced more than one of my vehicles & I love that they tend to their customers needs. They truly care. Update: they open at 10am now

Make sure they just don't fix your car!.. Make them take it for a test drive ..had some work done and they didn't test check it. Had to go back next day. There is a nice owner,good at his work!! But 1 guy isn't friendly..never says hello or greets the customer.. 1 other I'm not sure if they speak English well...watch n b careful with your auto

I ve visited this shop on several occasions for auto work on both of my vehicles. Rick, the shop owner, is an honest guy. He will not over-charge you or tell you you need work done to your vehicle when you don t need it. His prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them.

I came here yesterday for an oil change since I was due for one. I was then recommended a motor flush because of oil sludge which had never been a problem for my car. On top of that, I was told I needed a radiator flush, an engine cleaning, cabin filter change, and other services I had never heard of and had never been an issue for me. The total would have come out to $400+ when all I came there for was an oil change. I agreed to just the oil change and the motor flush out of fear for the long road trip I had ahead of me, bringing me to a total of $150. My father who has been a mechanic and business owner for 30+ years then looked at my car at home and said my car was in perfect condition. He has never told a customer they needed a motor flush for oil sludge in all his years working. These people are absolute SCAMMERS, do not come here! Dishonest, money-hungry scammers.

I've been going to this place for years now they serviced all the vehicles I have owned. The gentlemen there are pretty nice. I like the fact that they inform you of what additional service is needed for your vehicle instead of completing service without approval. I go in for an oil change and receive get service Good Job Guys....... (Just Add Business Hours online)

Reasonable prices & my go to mechanic for car issues from brakes, oil changes & accident repairs. Been going for years now. Now on my second car since college. My parents also use them. The owner is a very nice man.

Chester will take care of you and your vehicle. I got an oil change and he cleaned my windows, filled my tires and checked my pads and rotors. Good service from an honest guy. I will be back, check him out!.I recomend Rt.38 for your automotive needs. They also do most automotive repairs and maintenance. 11-8-18 another good experience at route38 today. I had pads and rotors put on and they did an outstanding job.Im very pleased and happy with the price and the service and will most definitely return for my automotive repairs and maintenance

I live out of town and am a mechanic, my mother has taken her car here for oil changes several times. I have found the work to be cut rate and on some visits dishonest.1. I did work on the vehicle to replace lower intake gaskets. Part of doing this job is removing the air filter. Upon inspection, the air filter was extremely dirty. After all oil changes, they neglected to offer changing the air filter which hampers performance of the motor and can cause other electronic components to malfunction over time. (Mass air flow sensor).2. After another oil change, they told her sludge was building up in the oil pump. Sludge does not build up in a vehicle that has SYNTHETIC OIL, is being changed at a regular interval and not driven under extreme conditions.It is a disservice to a honest mechanics when unnecessary maintenance and improper maintenance is done to a vehicle due to lack of knowledge of the customer.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Was recommended to get motor cleaned of oil sludge with my oil change.. I asked for what my total bill would be and was told $119.95 with $10.00 discount. Agreed and then was billed $170.40.
