Scott and other team members provided me a wonderful experience. It was the first time I bought a car without my husband. Buying a car was not part of my responsibilities.Scott did not use pressure. He allowed me to think things over. I know that I can talk to Scott about anything that I might have a concern or feel unsure. It was truly a great experience. The dealership hired people who understand the the situation.

I do understand that we were late and it was close to closing time.Yet you allowed your ego and personal feelings to let you miss out on a 33K cash sale because you weren t willing to take an offer to your boss on a vehicle that s been sitting on your lot for 60 days.We were willing to put a non-refundable deposit down on the vehicle, come do the paperwork and pick it up next business day.

Chris & Vince went above and beyond to make my dream happen. I am absolutely in love with my GMC Sierra 2500!!! Can t wait to add the 5th wheel. I have done a lot of trade ins with many dealerships over the years. This was by far the best experience I have had! I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I had not dealt with Steve Schmitt until I saw a truck like I was looking for online and priced accurately. I spoke with Todd on the phone and I was direct about what I was looking for and what terms. He showed me the same courteous over the phone. I came into the store and we were able to get the deal done quickly with the help of Brian from finance. Both guys were great to work with and helped us feel comfortable buying a vehicle from out of town. We will likely give Todd a call for our next vehicle. Thanks Again.

Buyer Beware, I called and inquired about a vehicle that was listed on their website. I asked multiple questions about the vehicle showing serious interest, making an appointment with a salesman for the next day to view it. After driving 2 hours to see the vehicle, the salesman mentioned to me it is now being sold as is. I told him if I knew this I wouldn't have made the trip. He assured me that the lady I spoke with didn't know it was being sold as is. If he knew, and knew my appointment was with him, he should've reached out to me letting me know prior to me making the drive.We went along with the sale and trade in of our previous vehicle which has a rebuilt title. They gave us the absolute bottom dollar for a trade, which I expected due to the title. Looking now at their website, the vehicle is listed for the average KBB retail cost of the vehicle. Which doesn't reflect the rebuilt title reduction of price, and nor do they disclose on their website that it has a rebuilt title. Which is absolutely not fair to a buyer. We've purchased multiple rebuilt titles and every place we've purchased from clearly stated it on their advertisement, as well as adjusted the cost accordingly.So if you are interested in a vehicle with them, call and ask all of these questions up front. However, I am not sure what answer they will give to get you to the dealership... Seems as if they are not honest on their advertising.

If you're looking to sell your car to a dealership, don't go here. They were nice enough, but they definitely offer way below what your car may be worth. I took my car to Jack Schmitt in O'Fallon and got over 3k more for my car than what these guys offered.

Our salesman Todd was awesome. He went over everything about the car in great detail. It was the best experience I've ever had in buying a car. The finance department was to pushy in trying to sell us the other parts. I was kind of annoyed when I told them I didn't want certain things and they continued to question me about why I didn't want them. No means no don't hassle me.

I've been using this dealership since I was in my early 20's, nearly 40 Years! Steve Schmitt is second to none in customer service! Kendra is amazing with her customers and I contact her directly, feeling confident everything is taken care of. My vehicle is picked up and a car dropped off so that I am never out of a car. I go no where else.

Purchased a vehicle on 11/28/23, returned with the vehicle three days later, because the shifter handle came off. Scott came out, slammed the shifter handle on and then slammed it into drive them back into park multiple times without giving it time to go into each gear. Now we re having transmission issues, the car does not want to go in reverse. It has like a death wobble going on in the whole front of the car, including the steering wheel. We purchased the vehicle for my 16-year-old daughter was told the vehicle was safe to drive perfectly that he would give it to his daughter. Has not even been two months. She cannot even drive the vehicle. It is sitting in my driveway.. That was a waste of almost $14,000 after tag title and tax. That man is a joke. He said he ordered new shocks for her back hatch because it falls down on her head. Still have not heard anything about that either. when she hits 25 to 30 miles an hour the transmission jerks really bad. It did it on her way home after we purchased the vehicle. That man should not be a top salesman. He straight up, ripped us off and he knew he did. Kelley Blue Book for the vehicle was $3000-$4000. We paid $10,999 for it.

I used CarGurus to find a vehicle (New 2023 GMC Sierra). I contacted Steve Schmitt and they would not honor the price advertised. They were 3.5k higher. They indicated CarGurus actually sets that price and sometimes they double rebates and post an inaccurate price. They indicated they understood my frustration and had considered a lawsuit against 3rd party advertisers for this. My logic is if you've had this issue before, why not get it corrected or stop using those third party advertisers. I left a similar review for CarGurus on consumer affairs. Very frustrating to come to a decision to buy and the seller esentially changes the price. Honestly the sales manager and sales associate I spoke with were pleasant in the discussion and sympathetic, but again, I'm not paying 3.5k for a smile. Fix this issue please.

This was truly the BEST car buying experience. I came in here alone as a 30 year old woman already nervous and anxious about dealing with car dealers. Scott and everyone else at Steve Schmitt could not have been kinder. They answered my few questions and got me on my way in my new Chevy Bolt EUV extremely quickly. No hassles, no extra fees, no surprises, just an honest car dealership. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will come back anytime. Steve Schmitt is well worth the ~40 minute drive from St. Louis!

Service is good, but they always charge me for tire rotation, which is free since I purchased tires there. Wish their system kept better records.

My tire tpms was bad on one tire when I came in and when you rotated my tires they all quit registering their weight. I was told that that was not correct. The ones that were working should have still be set up would still be working on their new placement. The bad one, yes, would still be out. They just didn't take the time to reset the three that were good and said it would be $100 give or take to change all four of them. That is ridiculous. Not happy.

I always have a great experience here, especially with the service department. Most recently, I got to know Greg in service when I was having an issue w/ my Yukon. I had to take it back a couple of times b/c I made the mistake of taking it to another place for service, and had to return there for the warranty. I returned to Steve Schmitt when the issue was not resolved. Greg was always understanding, and went above and beyond to get me in and never doubted my complaints. Issue was resolved! Thanks again Greg!

If I could give zero stars.I would I have been trying to get in contact with this dealer since friday. I went up to their lot to look at the 2 trucks I was intrested in and could not find them on the lot. I have called only to get voice mail. I have messaged the facebook page and still no reply. I guesss if you dont live or are from Highland they have no intrest in doing bussiness with you. Can't even be bothered to call someone back.

First told and quoted all four tire sensors bad needing replaced until I had them recheck only three were bad. Steve Schmitt shuttle driver side swiped my car resulting in damage
