I am extremely dissatisfied with Turpin's. They have had my car for almost 2 weeks and still can't figure out what's wrong. Started out as spark plugs, ignition coils and serpentine belt and it would be done last Tuesday. I didn't hear anything from them saying it was ready so on Wednesday I called the service department. I was told the mechanic couldn't get it started so it had another issue and I would get a phone call telling me what the issue is. No contact on Thursday so I called Friday and was told it could be a timing chain or blown motor. Still no return phone call after I called this morning and was told after she got done with another customer she would call me back. No call back as of yet and that was over an hour ago. Very poor service department customer service.

Never deal with Turpin, after u buy they don't want anything to do with you. Bought a 2021 Jeep Renegade and its a pure death trap, service dept is the worst I've ever used. Jeep is now at another out of town dealer, will be contacting corprate headquarters and my atty. about Illinois lemon law for a full refund. Again buyer beware

Taking away my 3 stars and giving these guys the five. Originally i had walked away due to the price of the car , i countered ,and told me that was as good as they can do and so i left. But , Mr Chris and Mr Turpin helped me out with reaching a price we were both comfortable at and i must say I'm pleased with not only the car but the service! It's like i was back in my own home town community, friendly folks and excellent customer service. If I'm ever in the market again for another car I'll be sure to look here first and make sure I give my business to Mr Chris before i go anywhere else.

I have purchased two used vehicles at Turpin's over the past 4 years. Both were very good experiences, the sales persons are not pushy and treated my wife and I very fairly. My most recent experience was with Kurt Lassman and I would highly recommend buying from him (no, he didn't ask me to say that). Give him a call, or stop in for your next purchase!

I've taken away my previous 4-star rating. When we bought our new car and van (on the same day), we received very good service. But now that good service is history. We are often treated like idiots by the service department. Recently we had a small coolant leak. We were told there was no leak and that we were imagining an odd odor. Several weeks later we were still smelling the odor. When the service department looked at it again they suddenly discovered a leak and charged us a couple hundred dollars.... on top of the charges from the previous visit. We were made to feel as if it was a mistake on our part. Bottom line, the condescending attitude by the staff is tiresome and offensive.

The water pump failed on my 3500 Cummins, I got it towed here. At first was not happy that they didn't have the parts in stock. But Beth in service was very nice and helpful. And the technician who worked on my truck was a good dude and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and went out of his way to help. They ended up being able to cover everything under factory warranty. Thanks again for your help and effort in getting me back on the road as quick as possible.

Tim Turpin and Turpin motors could not have done a better job selling me my new truck. I came from out of state too, making the sale more difficult, and they still did a fantastic job every step of the process. I would highly recommend Turpin motors to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Nice enough while trying to sell us a vehicle. But afterwords kept blowing us off. Took new car in for an issue 4 times and each time they said there was no problem and the right after my 90 warranty was over the same problem is identifiable and will cost $1500 to fix. Will never buy a car there again.

Do not go here they are deceitful and very rude with poor customer service skills went in with my own financing and make it clear to the sales rep I did not need my credit ran because it was already ran with my creditors gave him the email info to send the bill of sale to and he still ran my credit after he continuesly said he would not that the credit paper was for his own personal records then they say they can't work with me on pricing because they can't go any lower than the asking price of vehicle on a vehicle they have marked up over a $1,000 from what nada guides books it at the very own site they use to price your vehicle and tell you your vehicle is worth less than nada guides value

We enjoyed our buying process from Turpins! Kurt Lassman was our salesperson, and he was so helpful finding the right vehicle for us. We felt no pressure - just genuine care and interest in finding what suited our needs. The owner Tim was helpful in answering questions we had and grateful to us for our business. We will definitely be back to Turpins for our future purchases.

A cross country trip pulling a uhaul trailer and we end up on the side of the highway near Turpin Motors. Their team went so above and beyond in assisting us, including a ride to the airport to get my son to New York since we couldn t get him there soon enough due to the broken down car. These folks were so genuine and kind from the start, and they even called us an hour after we got back on the highway a day later to see if the car was working ok. I probably won t get the pleasure of doing business with them again, but for all of you that live in the area, you are blessed to have these wonderful people in your community. And they knew what they were doing when it came to fixing the car, too!

The Chrysler Service Department at Turpin Motors has consistently provided excellent service for my 90 year old Dad's 2008 PT Cruiser. The PT Cruiser which was purchased at Turpin's, has been an excellent car for my parents' needs and we have received exemplary service when needing maintenance and repairs. We highly recommend Turpin's for knowledgeable, dependable, responsive and friendly service. We are long time customers and are very satisfied. We HIGHLY recommend Turpin Motors.

5 Star Service Department! Tom and his crew really go above and beyond when helping me out! I manage a repair facility in Iowa, about 30 minutes away, and we use them for parts and work only a dealer can do! It's worth the drive!!

Service dept was extremely slow with repairs. Had my vehicle for 6 weeks to do an 8 hour clutch job. Sales and service worked with me on a very expensive repair shortly after buying. But car was in shop longer than I owned it. Ultimately everything was resolved, but to say it was a frustrating hassle would be an understatement.

My Dodge truck had a rear differential problem. They checked and it was covered under warranty 2 other Dodge dealers didn't want to cover it under warranty. They loaned me a car any time I need service work done.

Service manager was rude. Went in to have truck flashed after tow mirror upgrade. All that needed done was to have sales codes updated then flashed to truck. They wouldn't update sales codes before flashing, just tried flashing a couple times then blamed it on not having them install even though there plug and play and anyone could do.

Had recall, was told 3 different things by 3 different people.took car there on Fri.9.00am apointment and now it's Mon. and still not fixed. Dodge side is ok, not the GM side!

I called and scheduled an appointment over a week out so the part would be there in time for my appointment. I called the day before the appointment to make sure the part was there and they told me the part was there but they never scheduled the appointment. Both people I spoke to were very rude and unprofessional. They did not resolve the problem and didn't even attempt to correct the mistake.

This is Geneseo's local Chrysler.Jeep/Chevrolet dealership. It handles all of my service needs. The service-customer lounge is comfortable but basic and small. It does provide free Wi-Fi!

My truck had a problem with the rear axle. Other dealerships never had the parts and never told me it was covered under warrant. Turpin had the parts and told me it was covered under warranty and they gave me a no cost loaner to use.

Friendly fellows, I like small town dealers. Variety of vehicals to choose from. Unfortunately my hubby did not get the deal he was looking for :(
