A star is a very generous rating for this location. Very unreliable service, taking more than 3 days and counting to fix a serpentine belt with a water pump issue as we left the vehicle there on Sunday and STILL haven t gotten it back. Very little to zero communication as to why it s taking so long. Being charged labor twice for each part being installed instead of one charge as a whole. My girlfriend has had to wait in a hotel and pay for each day waiting because she was supposed to move to Michigan. Please take your car issues elsewhere other than here unless you love to wait with poor customer service

These guys completely wasted my time.I had an appointment at 5 pm for a wheel alignment. I get there at 4:50 pm . Guy takes my keys and everything I sit and wait and 10 min pass by and he comes and tells me his tech is leaving erlarly like if it was my problem. And suggested to leave my truck. Which was not an option for me . That's why I made appointment..So as you can imagine I was pissed.Tried to go elsewhere but since it was late I couldn't find anyone to do it at that time..Also they can't follow simple directions.. I specifically told them it's a diesel truck so you can't just start it of the bat you got to open the ignition to let the glow plug heat up.. they completely ignored this note because my check engine light was on once I got it back.. and it's a direct result of them not starting it correctly. I'm truly disappointed in these guys and will never be back at this location it's used to be a good location but I'm avoiding this location from now on..I told corporate what they did and they contacted the " Manager" to make things right.Well needless to say he was completely useless as well did not make up for my lost time

Staff members Chris and Johnny were very helpful and informative regarding the service(s) performed and recommended for my vehicle. Thanks to them, I may have found a new service home for my vehicles.

I have been trying to get my headlight all day and no one could help. I called the Firestone in Franklin park and when I say Johnny and the staff were great, I meant that..highly recommended. Great job to the hiring team.

Technically stole my car and took it for a joy ride.Somehow you managed to drop my MPG by over 2mpg on a 10 minute test drive!!! Thanks for treating my car with such disrespect.Zero education or knowledge. It s gonna be a while of a wait He s gonna run uhhhh some tests and check stuff Those are some examples of the technical terms used by the staff while the whole shop ate pizza the Test Driver probably took my car to pick up.Very UNSATISFIEDWILL NEVERE BE back

Spent over $3k to have them replace my timing chain on my Lincoln MKZ. Their technician needs to be fired or I need a complete refund. The results of their work in the picture below.

i am reading all the negative comments still my unbiased review is that this firestone shop did a very good job from customer service to technical service to discounts all was up to the point disclosure i did a repair of upward of 2100$ so go check out the shop yourself and then you decide if its good or bad don't get wasted by negative comments

Horrible for alignments, waited 2 days for an alignment and when i picked up, it's not even aligned right, wheel is crooked and upon inspection at anither shop, the nut on the tie rods were not even tightened, making the car a hazard to drive

This place is careless and completely inconsiderate. They will tell you that getting your tires replaced will take an hour, but it ll really take five hours and not bother to let you know. Oh, and after taking five hours for a very simple job - guess what, they won t even do it right! Two of my tires were rotated in the wrong direction. No idea how this place can pride itself on being a respectable tire shop. Respect your customers, their time, and their safety by doing the job correctly and efficiently.

I took my car for tires balance they didn't do it right and my car still vibrating and l had to change another shop to resolve the problem. I wasted my time and my money .

They did well but waiting time for 2 tire swap with advanced appointment was 2 hours. Better bring good book or a movie with you and forget about visit without appointment because you may wait entire day

WORST TIRE SHOP IN CHICAGO. Don t bother pre-purchasing tires & making an appointments DAYS in advance so that you don t waste your time getting something simple like a tire change done. They ll tell you it ll take an hour and you ll end up waiting 6 despite doing everything you can on your part to make it easy for them. Ridiculous. Manager, Tony Flores, had nothing to say; really phenomenal customer service. The tech, Chris, also put two of my tires on backwards, they re directional tires . & he took the car for a joy ride overall nightmare. Still waiting for a resolution.. contacted area manager.. no response. Bridgestone/Firestone is a joke all around.

Hours seem odd. Don't always match what is posted. I went today (Wednesday) and it was closed at 5:45pm which seemed like an odd time to close for a somewhat major car mechanic franchise. But they do work with you when you call in a pinch so that is great. Could be that they were just short staffed. Anyhow, best to leave the car overnight and they can take care of it when they can if you have the flexibility in your schedule.

After spending $1,300 worth of work on my vehicle, my car was damaged by a tech at this facility. After going back and forth with corporate after store manager admitted they have no cameras ANYWHERE and could not be responsible for damages I had to email corporate. This happened in October!! Long story short after months of getting the run around claims denied my claim because according to them, there is no proof they did it. Even after submitting pictures of what my car looked like before and after I received it. I am now having to take them to court for repairs. STAY AWAY IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED!!! They will not fix repairsServices: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Reviews are true about them overcharging if you don t know about cars. They tried charging my girl 700$ once to change a wiper motor and linkage. Part cost 140, i changed it in 20 min and I m not a mechanic.

There are 2 occasions that I come to do alignment service for my cars, the first time I brought my ford f250 to alignment with the right steering wheel and they gave me the truck with the alignment finished but with the crooked steering wheel. Second time today March 31, 2023 I brought a 2020 jeep to the wheel alightment and the same with the right steering wheel and they gave it to me with the wrong steering wheel turned upside down and I brought it back again to wait longer for them to fix it again very bad service on these two occasions definitely not I bring my cars here again not recommended

I had a flat tire on new years day. Long story short, my original choice of shop wasn't open. Firestone wasn't my first choice that day, but I think they changed my mind. Great tires at a great price, and though they were short on help, got me out quickly. I'll definitely be back again.

Took way too long (like 2 hours) for a simple tire mounting and balancing. Cost 75% more than the independent shop where I last got the exact same service done ($129 vs. $75) in 20 minutes.Edit: And my mom went in for an oil change and came out with a $300 bill. I asked why she got an alignment on her 30k mile car and she said she didn't know, thought it was an emergency. And they charged $60 for a $25 air filter and a service fee to change her wiper blades (ANY store will do it for free in seconds). Way to take advantage of the elderly.

Took my car in for an emergency oil change at 6:30pm - Israel helped and took me in with no problem even though they were closing soon. During the inspection they found my headlight was out. He asked me if I wanted the service and order the part knowing they would have to stay after 7pm. They took their time and made me feel extremely welcome! I left the facility almost at 8pm with my oil change and a headlight. I appreciate the help to all the staff

Terrible customer service made an appointment at 12 and they ignored my car until 4 hours later. I ve never ever waited 5 hours to get tires put on. What a joke shop. Will never be coming back.Service: TiresService: Tires
