I came in after intermittent no starts. I wanted to check battery to be sure. The owner I think, put his tester on my battery for like 0.1 seconds and says it s bad . So I had him replace it. And it still didn t start on the first try. He says oh the computer just needs to catch up . Long story short, after I get home I figure out it was just the key fob. It seemed like he was tired and cranky and didn t care. Bad business in my opinion. Very untrustworthy

I'm sooo grateful for them for finding out my alternator was bad and fixing it for a reasonable price! Everywhere else I took my car to couldn't figure out the problem when I kept having problems with my batteries. I often had to keep jumping it. Now, I don't have that issue anymore thanks to them. Thanks Rexx!!!!

I take my vehicles here every time there's an issue with my electrical system and they always get me in and out within a few minutes. The starter went bad in my boat a few years ago and I took it in and they had it rebuilt within 2 hours. Haven't had a problem since.

Horrible owner was very rude and the battery that was purchased didn t last 2 years wouldn t listen to customer at all so not recommend this one Lincoln Il store is very good

I have had the pleasure of dealing with this establishment on several occasions, and when I had an issue or concern they were on top of it. Today was one of the coldest days I ve experienced in Decatur and they were top notch with their service as usual. Thanks Rexx, you are much appreciated.

Fast, friendly and professional. I never even consider going anywhere else. Never had any negative issues with anything here. The staff from the receptionist to the installers are wonderful and the best price in town for quality products.

I ve been to rexx previously and my experience was short, firm, & straight to the point. I recently experienced rexx because my vehicle wouldn t start. After a jump and a new starter being installed. It was suggested the motor was locked up. I took my car to the Hyundai dealership and they were able to replace the Motor. I appreciate the patience and understanding at Rexx both gentlemen were beyond helpful and took good care of me. No complaints from me.

They always confirm the integrity of my electrical system and verify the battery is shot before recommending replacement. Service is great, and prices are reasonable. There is a reason they have been rated the best place in town for batteries.

I've never went anywhere else for car battery problems because Rexx has always been awesome and I like to support local businesses... I went in yesterday on my lunch break to see how much a battery would be for my car and I'm not sure if the guy was having a bad day or what but he walked into the counter area, didn't look at me, didn't say hi, etc. He asked what I needed... sighed loudly, told me a price and proceeded to tell me that the labor charge would be more. I said ok and told him that my husband would be in later to pay for the battery and that I wouldn't need them to install it. I received another loud sigh and was told 'k'. Never once did he look at me.. I was extremely put off by the rudeness because I'd never experienced that before at Rexx. It was extremely poor customer service!

My first time experience I ve driven by this place for decades, but never had the need.Had the need when my battery died and wouldn t start after it was ran for a while. Pulled in and explained the situation and got into a bay immediately. Was informed it was the starter and was told I could leave it and if I had a ride. I didn t and was told it would be a few hours, I had my tablet so I said okay.In those two hours I noticed all ages, races and social classes come and go with problems as petty as fob batteries to needing new car batteries. All were treated in an efficient pleasant manner and each customer was pleased with the price and service.I left w a rebuilt starter (done in house,) new battery (my choice) and a clean conscience for $260 less than a refurb ac delco starter from the box stores..Thank you Rexx battery

For my auto, they cleaned the cable contacts, and replaced the battery for under $100, and finished in less than 10 minutes from when i entered. Their shop is very clean and organized and customer service is great! I will use them again for my other autos.

These guys saved me $400!!!!!F&F quoted me $700 for an alternator replacement.Neal quoted me $600, but couldn t get me in for 6 days.Rexx took my Jeep in at 9am and finished by 1pm for $277.They were VERY friendly and professional...I will use them every time I can!

They were really knowledgeable fast efficient I had my Chevy Impala towed there they only charged me 15 bucks to put in the battery and $87 for the battery and was done in like 20 minutes highly recommended to anyone with issues with batteries or alternators etc I give him five stars will be returning for any further car problems thanks guys

I give this place a 12 out of 10. They fix my car with the price can't anbe beet anyware. Thanks Rexx Battery for your nice and helpful staff to the price that can't be beet. I am from St Louis and I have never had someone to work on my car with the personality, kind hearted and respect from your employees at an auto place. Thank you again. You are wonderful.

I had excellent customer service from the guys at Rexx. I had what I thought was a battery issue, got a new battery and brought it home.. replaced it. The next day my car didnt start after work but after second try of starting, it started. So I went back to rexx and explained the situation so they said it could be the solenoid. So they kept my car and the next day got the solenoid and went to put the starter back together. When they were putting back together they noticed it was the brush holder was cracked. They immediately called me and provided options of what I could do. I went with getting a new starter. So the next day they got it in and provided it to me at their cost because of the length of time it took to get it fixed and the manager said if I had any more problems they couldn't fix there, he would personally make phone calls to help me get it taken care of elsewhere and also advise others of what they have done to attempt to fix the problem. I just think it was awesome customer service. So far I have had no issues.They were also the cheapest in town for a battery. Highly recommended.

Well I took my battery in and ask him To check it and he did but didn't say anything about it. So didn't know if the battery was bad or just needed charged.. They did carry the heavy battery into the building for me and then took the new one to the car for me. They also suggested testing the alternator but by the time I got it installed back into my vehicle it was to late and they were closed. Then the next day found out it was actually the alternator. Lol. Thank you. I appreciated the help. Most places see a female and don't offer any help or suggestion but they did. Again thank you.

If you need a battery this is the place to go. I pulled in, they checked my battery and then replaced it in about 20 minutes. They were very polite to and friendly to talk with. Thank you.
