We brought our vehicle in with an issue that another tire and auto shop in the area couldn't figure out. Decatur auto and tire had us running better than ever the next day for a very reasonable price. I'll be recommending them to anyone needing auto service.

Worked to get me in and get me taken care of late in the day and had me back on the road within 20 minutes at a very reasonable price. Will be going there for any other need.

I had an obvious exhaust leak on my 2013 Ram. Checked with various exhaust shops to see who could look at it and was repeatedly told that it was most likely exhaust manifold bolts broken. Exhaust shops won't touch those and the dealerships want a huge amount for the work. I was pointed towards Decatur Auto and Tire by Danny's Muffler. I made arrangements to drop the truck off for a week while I was out of town and get it back when I returned. My work plans fell apart and I was stuck at home for the week with no ride. Calling Decatur Auto, I asked when they were planning on getting the truck in. Originally they planned on doing it Thursday which was fine since they had planned their work week based on my original info. Much to my surprise, they called me early Wednesday morning to tell me they had gotten my truck done already and it was good to go. I got the truck that morning and the leak was fixed. I'd asked for a worst case scenario quote which they gave me. The final bill came in under that amount quite nicely. I will definitely remember these guys. Great customer service and going the extra mile to help a customer out for a fair price and a job well done! What's not to like?

Very polite, straightforward, seem like they really care. Prompt service and reasonable prices, too. I don't live near Decatur but if my car ever breaks down again anywhere close to Decatur, I'll be going back here for sure.

Took my car there to get front brakes checked. Twice. They insisted it was a rear sway bar problem. Spent over $700 getting stuff they pointed out after recently purchasing a used vehicle. Brakes weren't on the list. I specifically told them I believe it is my front brakes and/or rotors. They insisted it was not. Took it somewhere else, got called within 2 hrs saying I needed new FRONT brakes and rotors. Place is a joke and chooses who to take care of. Liars straight to your face. I suggest somewhere else unless you personally know them. I'll pray for the company that they start doing good business with everyone and quit trying to rip people off.

Took my f250 to these guys for a bunch of work, 4 new tires, brake job (pads and rotors) and a tuneup. They did a fantastic job and the best price I could find anywhere around. Highly recommend them and shop owner Shawn is a great guy, easy to deal with and friendly. Will be taking all three of my vehicles there from now on.

Brought in my BMW 5 series for a squealing belt. Found out it was a pulley bearing and they got me all sorted out. Really loved the personalized touch and going the extra mile to fix the problem in a short amount of time. Car runs like brand new now and have referred a few of my friends over there that have also had excellent service. The owner Shawn is a great guy and they have the nicest auto mechanics in the Decatur Illinois area. They really take pride in their work and know how to treat their customers!

First took my boat here for some minor engine work. I am particular with my boat everything was done faster than I expected and the work was clean. Also took my motorcycle for a new headlight, oil change, fluid flush, and a new set of tires. Another great service visit with nice mechanics who care about their work and do not gouge you with huge hourly rates like the big auto repair shops and auto dealers.

Excellent auto repair shop in Decatur Illinois. I was traveling through town and had some ac and engine problems. Stopped in here after seeing reviews online and they were able to isolate the problem and fixed it for $20! Amazing work, amazing mechanics who are honest and friendly. Not a bug "brand name" auto mechanic in Decatur, IL but I would recommend this to place to anyone. Thank you Decatur Auto & Tire repair. I love you guys! :)

I went there to have them replace my brakes and shocks. They broke a bolt off my calipers and wanted me to pay for it! Told me there was nothing they could do about it since the bolt was broken and the car couldn't be put back together. I won't waste my time there again.

I started having some cabin noise in my Jeep a few months ago. I had taken it in to another facility and was told it had to do with the parking brake. They made an adjustment but the noise still persisted. The noise got increasingly louder so I made an appointment with Decatur Auto and Tire. They got me right in and fixed the bad wheel bearings. No more noise.

I was totally taken back thay had my truck for over an hour i thought i had a bad brake problem turns out not to be .They up front and honest and not a rip-off.Ill be coming back.you can bet it
