Larry is the Best! Diagnosed a faulty alternator that others said was good. I ll bring energy alternator here from now on.

MGAE has rebuilt, upgraded or replaced dozens of starters, alternators, plow motors etc for me. For decades they have helped me keep my fleet of trucks and heavy equipment running. I have been using them since they were actually in Morton Grove. They have never let me down. I highly recommend them. They are the best.

Repaired the starter for my 1960 Massey Ferguson tractor. Cost me less than half what a replacement part would cost. It's great to have old-school "fix it" shops around, instead of just buying a new knockoff import part, especially when working on equipment that is older than I am. They really know their stuff, will definitely go back with any sort of starter or alternator problem. Saved me a bunch of money over buying a rebuilt starter. Larry's expertise made me very confident it would work once I reinstalled it and it did (of course). Just be warned that Google Maps thinks you have to get there through the apartments to the west but it's really on Arthur like the address says. Just get to Arthur south of the tracks.

It's my go-to place for rebuilding starters and generators for my antique cars. 2nd generation ownership, Larry grew up in this business that his dad started. He really knows his stuff. Guys like this are hard to find and oh so worth it when you do!

These guys are awesome! Top knowledge! Top service! Down to earth and reasonable. They did two starters and a generator for my 1951 Buick and got me going in short order fashion so I could make it to a car show that I had planned to go to all summer. Without them I would not have made it. They treated me like I was a longtime customer.

Scam Company!!! Bering and 2 brushes cost me with MG Auto Electric $75 plus tax= grand total $82,50 !!! A new alternator with 2 years warranty and free shipping cost $80 on eBay .... and surprisethe alternator fixed by MG, back on the car and doing same noise like before!!!I waste my time and I finish up with the same problem in a change to buy a new alternator what actually cost me less than I paid to MG Auto Electric!!! wake up and buy new alternator, forgot about this place MG AE from Arlington Heights , the company is a scam!!!I ask for warranty and the owner start to scream and told me for refund to give in a change the alternator not only the parts, that was the scam!! he try to get my alternator for free!!!!

They do great works on alternators generators electric motors they were I have antique vehicles and they helped me out all the time they can fix almost anything when it comes to that
