These people seriously overbook themselves and lack communication. I was never told my car wouldn t be ready that same day for diagnostics, which I had scheduled a morning appointment for. I had to call twice for updates and still didn t tell me to not expect my car be ready that day. If I had to choose between these people and a franchise, I d rather go to a franchise. I mean they quoted me even more than the dealership did for the same exact repairs. That should tell you a lot about their prices. The blonde woman in front is the only one that knows what great customer service is. Quite frankly, it seems like all they did was scan the code, so my car should ve been ready the day of if that s true. I took my car elsewhere and saved myself a little over $1K for repairs.

Any time I ve taken my vehicle to shop I was satisfied with service. This most recent time I knew there were probably some major issues. I couldn t have been more happy with the honesty and input I received from Bo, when the shops money is made from doing work he was truthful when advising against the many needed repairs because it would not be worth it to me . While everyone dreads getting taken to cleaners by mechanics, I greatly appreciate the honest feedback. Whatever vehicle I have in the future will be serviced at Dakota K

Bo and his staff are great. You tell him the problem and he will let you know what needs to be done. Provide him the information and he will send a quote to you quick. If you need work done on your vehicle bring it here. Had my daughter s car towed from the city cause Dakota had the best price.

We have been taking our car to Another shop and after 7 times of the car dying in 2 months and the shop wanting more money even though they never fixed the problem I found Dakota K Auto repair. Problem was fixed in 1 day and have had 0 issues since car has run better then ever. Highly recommend using them nice, quick, and hassle free.

I got a new (to me) car and unfortunately my drivers side front window doesn't work. I brought my car into Dakota K, They were able to fix it, It took shorter than i was expecting, Dakota K is and will be the only place i will go to, to get my car serviced. Excellect customer service!

A small piece of my bumper broke off that's needed for the license plate. Dakota K was more than happy to take a look at how they might be able to make a quick fix for me. They added a screw hole at the bottom of the license plate and it was a super easy fix. A broken piece of the bumper could have turned into a much larger problem, but Dakota K gave me a quick fix and didn't even charge me for it. Isaac was great. I will be returning for any future repairs.

This was my second time using Dakota and it was awesome. Clear explanations of what needed to be repaired and fair prices.This time I asked that the maintenance required light be reset but that was missed. Can I stop by one day this week to have that light reset? Thank you!

I bring my vehicles to Dakota K when I need an honest and trustworthy recommendation on service items. They are not pushy about their service and repair recommendations. They document their recommendations well, so I can decide later whether to pursue them. I am satisfied with the quality and service that I receive.

Bo and Steve are very honest and didn t take advantage when I told them my problem with emission test. They knew right away what to do and told me to add some more mileage into my car and if there still some issue then bring it back so they can diagnose it. And I did after driving it. They diagnosed it and bring it to emission test and passed. They only charged me for diagnostic test. This is after 2 tries with the other repair shop and spending so much money with the check engine issue(s) which they have not resolved. I should have brought my car here the first time. Now I know where to bring my car. Dakota is the best. 101% I recommend this auto repair shop to anybody out there who wants to get their car fixed.

I LOVE Dakota K! Their staff is amazing...the quality of their work is awesome. What I value most is their integrity and honest, fair, pricing. I would never take my car anywhere else.

I was helped by Bo at Dakota K. He set me up with a terrific set of new tires, new brakes and took care of several other problems. Dakota K also offered a loaner car which is a really a big deal to many of us. I was a bit surprised when Bo called to tell me my car was ready the next morning, which was about as fast as you could expect. Dakota K treated me great.

Just had my first Oil Change and Lube with my new to me, New Car . Took it to Dakota K Auto Repair as usual and had Outstanding Service .as usual. I like and trust how they check out the whole vehicle and report back.I trust the Crew at Dakota K.

Dissatisfied. I know this shop long time, since 2010. Used to have better experience in the past, they are running down the hill. They overcharge for tires, they are not transparent about all fees upfront, and they do charge for alignment, which other shops don't charge for.

Dakota has been serving my family's cars for years. I 1st came to Dakota when I was told by my dealer I needed some work done at the cost of about $800. I took it to Dakota and they fixed what was needed for under $600. Been coming back ever since.

Called Dekota K in the morning at 9 am for a Air Filter on my wife Chevy Spark. Bo at the Service Desk took us after we showed up late for our appointment. They gave me a ride home with no additional charge. Within a couple hours later, they called, and I was able to pick it up on the same day. They are wonderful at Dekota K. Thanks, Bo

Everyone at Dakota auto is super nice! They were incredibly helpful (especially Gia) and I felt the prices were reasonable and fair. They did a thorough inspection of my car and provide a link to see the condition of your car. Best service ever! This is my first visit at Dakota, due to the check engine light on, it's old problem for years, and I suspect it's oxygen sensor fail but not convinced until I bring it to Dakota. Dropped in early morning, texted back in 2 hrs in a busy day, (they always busy, parking lot always full). Owners in charge of front desk, and they know every technical details when I call back, and told me voltage doesn't change when fuel calls. That totally convinced me. And more surprise is they have it done same day. WOW, I can't believe that fast! Normally it takes a day or two to get parts only. Amazing logistic to a small shop. Not to even mention they offer follow up check up before smoke test, which is what exactly I bring it to repair for.Truly one stop service, look no further!

I just moved in over here and heard about this place through my doctor. My brakes starting grinding like crazy on my way home on Wed. I knew it was too dangerous to keep driving like that so I drove straight to Dakota K just before closing. I was a bit frantic but the woman in front was so nice and let me know that they could definitely take my car but they might not be able to look at it until Friday. To my surprise, they were able to look at it the next day and provided me with a quote. I felt the price was fair given the work they were doing. I got my car back on Friday afternoon! They took very good care of me and my car. They had quoted a price and found they didn't need to replace all the parts quoted and so recalculated at a lower price. I trust them completely. This was our first experience with Dakota K. We've always seen them right next to McDonald's on Dundee Road for a few years now. We were having really bad experiences with our current car repair place. We decided to explore another place for any new repairs. We saw Dakota K received very good reviews on here so we decided to make a change to a new place. Our first experience was wonderful. The parking lot is even nicer and larger than the previous place. We were given constant text updates as well as a full inspection report. We simply choose what to repair from the inspection report. The cost was very, very reasonable as well. We certainly hope for a continued positive experience with Dakota K.Services: General repairs & maintenance, General repairs
