Not a good experience. They told me on the phone that they would check things out before charging me. They never called to tell me how much it would be just to inspect my oil leak. They were very kind and charged me for only a half hour at $65. They charge $130 an hour. Next time they should let their POTENTIAL customers know how much a service will be BEFORE performing it.

These guys rock! I had an issue with my car not only did they fix it, but they found another huge issue and called me to tell me about it. They were able to fix that too in no time! Appreciate the service and friendliness of everyone there!

My truck was sporadically losing power and not able to keep up speed. I'm there to pick up core transmissions, I had mentioned it to one of the employees. They helped diagnose and fix the problem with dirty exhaust filter.

We were in town on vacation this summer. Our car would not start. We were worried it would be a big issue and we were only in town 4 days. Teton valley Auto repair worked us into their schedule quickly and solved what we thought would be a big problem very simply. They also provided a free loaner for a few hours. Have taken my truck in 3 separate times to try and fix a worsening starting issue that occurs a least several times a day. I m not in a position with only having one car to be able to leave it for an undisclosed amount of time so I made an appointment in hopes they would get the time to fix the issue. (Had to wait over a month to get this appt, meanwhile the issue is growing more consistent). In total they have replaced two items neither of which worked and put me out $400. They claim to not be able to recreate the issue despite the fact it happens the majority of the time that the car is started. I ve sent videos of the noise, explained it s patterns, tried to get all the info that I could. Not sure what this repair shop is doing but it s sure not fixing cars think twice before bringing your rig in here.

Teton Valley Auto Repair really saved us. We were vacationing in Teton Valley and had a problem with our car. I took it in and let them know that we needed to leave and drive 850 miles two days later. They accommodated our schedule and made quick work of the repair. Also, they really dug into the issue since it was not super clear and gave us the confidence to go on our trip. They are real professionals and nice people. Highly recommend.

I created a problem with my F-250 diesel that I won t go into... I called Teton Valley Auto Repair, explained the situation and had my vehicle towed to their location. I was initially advised that they were a week out before they could get to it. I was absolutely amazed 2 days later when they under-promised and over-delivered and performed the requisite repair at an extremely reasonable price while at the same time saving me on extended car rental fees. I can not thank them enough and/or recommend them highly enough!

Our Ford Escape had a complete transmission failure in Victor. We were stranded about 12 miles away from where we were staying for the week. A cashier at the ExxonMobil gave us the contact number for Teton Valley Auto Repair and said they would treat us right. And she was absolutely correct!After calling for assistance, they sent Josh, one of their service technicians, to our location. Josh then gave me a ride to their shop to pick up a loaner vehicle to use until we could make arrangements to get a rental car to get us back home. The next day, Jared Bevan, Teton Valley's Service Advisor, called with repair estimates and a time frame when repairs could be made, since their schedule was filled up for approximately 2 weeks out.I would like to recognize Josh. Jared, and Paige Chevez, Teton Valley's Service Writer, for their customer service, kindness, and overall friendliness. They went above and beyond what I have experienced with other auto repair shops. They definitely made this s*#t sandwich somewhat easier to choke down. If you happen to need auto service in the Teton Valley area around Driggs and Victor, Idaho, give this business a call. They will treat you right!!!

A few months ago I had a mechanical issue with my RV steps. I stopped at a few places and ended up here at Teton Valley Auto Repair.Even though they were very busy they took the time to care and help me out. Fixed my problem! My impression is the culture and leadership at this company let s their good employees do what s right for the customer.I m from SC but this approach of helping others and being kind is what I love about Idaho and and the Teton Valley the most.

We were staying at Victor, Idaho, for 2 nights. My Check Engine Light turned on last night. Our Airbnb host recommended us this place and I am glad they did. The mechanic check what the problem was for free. He told us that they had a 1 week delay to get this done and also that 1 person called sick. Although that, I insisted a little bit and they were able to change the spark plugs and the coils that same day. They were honest and demonstrate an outstanding professional skills.

Shout out to Josh at Teton Valley Auto who came to my rescue yesterday when my truck would not start at the Post Office in Victor,ID!!! Thank you so very much! I would have been stranded without this kindness! Can t say enough good things about the folks at this auto repair shop and their responsiveness and standard of care!! Took my truck in to get an oil change and get a quote for a new ac compressor. They told me that my ball joints absolutely needed replacing for safety. They quoted me $1000 for replacing the ball joints and I said ok do it. When I called to pay and come pick it up they the total was $1895. I understand that sometimes more work is required and the final price may be a bit more...but almost double is not ok especially without calling to explain the increase in price and get my ok to go forward.When I raised my concern he said sorry I y all fast and I just have just told you 1000 for the parts before labor . That was not what happened because I asked multiple times what the amount was and he said 1000. I remember that because I only chose to do that because it cost less than the AC repair which was 1200. They ended up taking $300 off the bill but that is still extremely shady. And then when I got the invoice the parts were definitely not $1000 like he tried to say. I know for a fact they quoted me at $1000 and then ended up charging me $500 more.This was my first time using them and that sort of busines practice is not ok.

The staff at Teton Valley Auto Repair are very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. They are very trustworthy and go above and beyond to care for our cars well, without charging an arm and a leg. I highly recommend them!

This past winter, we (myself, wife, and 1-yr old son) were traveling to Driggs when our alternator shut-down, draining all battery power and eventually shutting our vehicle off and stranding us on side road in heavy snow before we could ever reach Tetonia . . I spoke Teton Valley Auto over phone and they were about to close in an hour, but they arranged have a new alternator delivered to their shop for when I arrived, as long as got there before they closed. however, the tow truck was late and got us there while they were closing . . BUT, the staff was aware of us coming and instead of going home rallied a pit crew together and replaced our alternator & charged the battery . . These are great people and a great establishment!!!

Family member took their vehicle there to get the battery tested. After 2 weeks of phone calls trying to get the vehicle back, they finally released it to her. The car was in such bad shape that the window wouldn t even roll up. She took it to a GMC service shop to find out they took out all the fuses and jammed them in backwards, causing numerous problems in the vehicle. So what was suppose to be a simple battery test ended up costing her $1500.00. The owner of the shop flat out refused to make this right with her. After seeing the vehicle in the condition it went in and came out. I wouldn t send my worse enemy to this shop.I m glad to see you will respond to this bad review (even with a very dishonest response) but you would not work it out with the owner of the vehicle when she came into speak with the owner of the shop about it. Again, it was brought in to test the battery, and came out of your shop completely destroyed with a big screw you. The GMC dealer documented the damage that was done, damage that your shop caused. To this day this very expensive vehicle is not running correctly. And since your detailed about how you check the fuses, can you be detailed about why you did not return the owners calls and release the vehicle for multiple weeks? Is this possibly because you messed up the vehicle and didn t know how to fix it?? And allow me to correct you, you tried to charge her, but she told you she wasn t going to pay for the damage you caused. So next time you reply to a review let s be honest, something that your shop clearly needs to start being. And let me clarify that she was great with your oil changes, but for the love of God don t touch anything else.

Very friendly and professional people. Tidy garage too. I was on the road and had no appointment, they got me sorted very quickly and sent back on the road. Their charges were honest too.

Failed to diagnose my bent axle shafts.I took my truck in to have a wobble and brake noise diagnosed. They found that one of the rotors was glazed (true) and the tires were a bit out of balance (also true), but they did not diagnose the underlying bigger problem that the rear axle shafts were warped, which I discovered after having the first two issues fixed. I'll cut them some slack, as it's hard to find a problem when it's masked by other issues, but I sure wish they had caught the problem then.

Great customer service. They bent over backwards to help me find something simple like shotgun shells. If they go to that much trouble for something that small I can't imagine how helpful they would be with something bigger like car repair. High integrity

We can here for help or trunk was stuck closed and we were crossing the boarder.We came on router busiest day and they found the time to help us out. Quick service, very happy with the work

Been in the valley 14 years and know the staff of this long time family owned business. They are reliable, trustworthy and competent. Would not take our vehicles any place else.

They drove out to my vehicle on the Jackson pass to check out the level of damage before I paid to get it towed. They are good guys that care about their customers.

I needed to know when I did a particular repair and I didn't even know the year and it was the only time I've ever been there they looked it up on my phone number or an answering me. I remember great mechanical service aswell.

The guys at valley auto are know what they are doing. I would have given 5 stars but the only thing I didn't like was that they are soooooo busy that you might have to wait a cou1ple of days for them to get to you.
