I have called all over the valley to find a part for my 99 Ranger pickup, I just spoke with the gentleman there who is one of the few who is willing to work on my problwem and help find a solution.must be one of the best places to do business in the valleybest, Rodger 4/15/24

K@R are awesome. They work on my limos and they do a great job and at a fair price. Its the only place Ive found that can work on my limos. They ve serviced my A/C units air bags and anything that comes up. They get me in and out fast.

I'm not going anywhere else!READ ALL OF THIS REVIEW:I was strongly referred to K&R. I've taken my GMC Duramax to them twice. Ken is the owner and he has TWO diesel mechanics.K&R did the repairs in a quick and expedient manner. They made future recommendations and DID NOT "throw parts" at my truck!-----------------------NOW, HERE'S THE KICKER. READ ON.-----------------------Everyone and I mean everyone! Gives K&R 5 Stars. So, when I arrived for my first visit. I was expecting to see shinny floors. A glass entry with a receptionist. Maybe a waiting room with comfortable chairs and complimentary coffee ... You know.Not even close. Just the opposite. Don't be surprised if you have to step over auto parts to get to the old school wooden counter. Oh, and Ken does keep free candy, in a bowl, on the counter??? Also, I didn't see a bunch of vehicles parked all over waiting to be serviced?This is a small, family run business. The owner Ken knows how to run a business and keep his overhead low. Rest assured they will have your vehicle in/out ASAP and at the lowest, reasonable cost to you. I really trust these guys. If you're a female. Go to K&R. I shouldn't have to explain to you why.I couldn't figure out why these guys don't have MORE reviews? The few reviews I saw were ALL 5 Star. Then it dawned on me.K&R will be like your favorite fishing spot or that hunting spot you don't even take your best friend to. But don't do that!Spread the word, like I am. K&R is a solid local business. We need more honest businesses like K&R in our community and shame on us if we don't support them. Or we can watch them dwindle away.Thanks for reading the whole review. I'm done now.

We have been using K and R for 9-10 years and have always and consistently been very happy with the repair results and the excellent service we have received from Ken and the staff. The prices are reasonable and I wish I would have found an honest and reliable mechanic shop like K and R sooner. I was so tired of getting treated badly and being overcharged at other repair shops/Dealership service centers. I learned about K&R by a word of mouth referral from a coworker. She said she doesn't trust her car with anyone else. I recently had a terrible experience with Peterson Chrysler Buick service center. Unfortunately my saga with them is not over because (as I suspected) they did a poor job with the transmission replacement they did on my vehicle causing issues with the steering rack/steering column. I'll be taking my vehicle back to them to fix the mess they created... after that though. I'll ONLY be going to K&R. It's hard to find a repair shop that is professional, HONEST, knowledgeable and even kind. Ken did not charge me for looking at my vehicle and determining the shoddy work done. Truly a great company. I will be telling all my friends and family that this place should be their new repair shop.Thanks K&R for being the gold standard of what an auto repair shop SHOULD be! Cannot say enough good things.

K&R was literally my saving grace! I took my car into Christian brothers and sons and they wanted to charge me $900 for an oil pan change! K&R immediately let me know that they would take a look at it anytime, and tell me what they can see. He was amazing on the phone, and I was able to book my appointment within the week. They even let me take it in on Friday and they parked it outside for me on Saturday when they were closed so I could pick it up. They went above and beyond for me and after going to three different mechanics this was the best price I got! These guys know what they re talking about, don t rip you off, and do a hell of a job! I highly recommend!!!!!

I took my car here to get the ac and engine fixed, and it was in there shop for 2 weeks. Ken told me that it would take up to 4 business days to get it repaired. 2 WEEKS!!!! Once I got it back, the transmission was broken! Let alone the fact that they ordered parts to fix a completely different thing without asking. I took it to a different place to fix the transmission, but now I have my car back the ac is still broken!!!!!!! I am so upset and frustrated.

My 2012 Jeep Wrangler was leaking oil pretty bad and I was told by numerous mechanics that it was my rear main seal. Turns out it was something completely different after someone who knows what they are doing looks.I just had moved to the area from SE Idaho where you know who is a trustworthy mechanic and who is not, so I was skeptical especially sense I am a single young lady. I looked on google and came across K & R and saw that they had 5 stars so I decided to go with them. There is a reason why they have 5 stars.I cannot remember names, but both of the gentlemen there were extremely kind and transparent with literally everything. They saved the parts that the previous mechanic had screwed up to show me then took me into the shop and explained everything into great detail for me. I waited to write this review, it is now 6 months later and the Wrangler is no longer leaking oil (I know, crazy for a Jeep).I am so grateful that there is a mechanic shop like this in Meridian! I highly recommend K & R because they are honest, transparent, kind, and they actually fix things the right way the first time!P.S. they told me to bring it back if it was still leaking and they would get me in the same day...Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

I'm very pleased with k&r Auto. Had an unexpected issue with my alternator and battery, and after calling all around town, k&r provided me with the best quote (they were as much as 40% cheaper than the highest bid!). Customer service wise, they were absolutely fantastic! Very chipper, and did exactly what they said they would in a timely fashion. Could not be happier, and will certainly use them again if I have car issues again.

Just moved to the area and had a major problem with our Durango. Not knowing anyone in the area, we took a chance with K&R. Ken took us on short notice and got us back on the road within a week. Here's an update on my previous comment below.. it was my serpentine belt the guy there was looking at, and he only looked at it while it was running and not off and he was showing me it to. And he said it was fine nothing wrong. But he did suggest me to use the oil for higher mileage when I get my oil changes.good thing my car survived and the belt didn't break on me, I heard about d.a.d.s garage and took it there and they told me it's the serpentine belt and it's cracked along with the tensioner that needed replacement to. I took a look at it myself along with watching YouTube videos about it. I don't trust k&r and I still wouldn't trust jiffy lube. I have heard of them not changing someones oil and there truck broke down. It could've been the oil, but don't know. it's always good to find a trusted expert!

Honest Mechanic! We took our Subaru into K&R because we thought the clutch was bad. Instead of replacing it, Ken did an adjustment and it works great. We had front brakes and oil change done at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back when I need a mechanic!

I called at 11am and they were able to get me in before lunch to check a vehicle I am interested in purchasing from a private seller. Got the car checked out in 30 minutes, went over the details of the inspection and made a fair and factual suggestion. Prices are fair and on a cost effective level. I have been looking for a reliable mechanic and the gentlemen at K&R Automotive are my new go-to place.

I just moved to the area. I took a car in to be looked at for brake noise. The shop was very honest and told me that the brakes didn't need replaced for a long while. I'm very impressed. Will definitely be going back when I need future repairs. Thanks K&R!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

There's a reason these guys have only 5 star reviews and it's because they do excellent work give honest advice and only do what you ask. Ken was super helpful and gave me advice as well as told me a few things I should consider for the future. Plus the price was more than fair for the work he did. I will always recommend them in the future.

Ken has been really amazing so far. As a mechanic and a human being. Even helped me out 10-15 min after he closed shop!! Thankfully he was still there workin away helping others out!!

Could have charged me for a mystery problem when he couldn't find it. Truck ran just fine for him. He charged me $20 to check it out. I will go back again if i ever have a problem, if he isn't to busy. Nice guy.
