I would love to thank the staff for an amazing experience.I brought my wife's vehicle in with transmission issues. A quick diagnostic brought not such good news.Greg was quick to give me options and within minutes, they started working on my wife's vehicle.They understood my wife's need for her vehicle for work, and by the grace of an amazing business she got her vehicle back 1 day later..I give 5 stars to this business and would recommend them to everybody for transmission needs.

Lance and the crew at Bobby's transmission are the best. Lance is a true expert mechanic. He is fair, honest and transparent. You can trust his diagnosis and he happily backs his work.

Bobby's Transmission was Amazing. They not only Rebuilt my Transmission like New, but they Didn't charge me for The Bad Transmission installation done by Roosters Automotive.. Bobby's Transmission made the Proper adjustments and corrections and got my Jeep back on the road really Quick! Greg the Manager was Awesome and understanding as well as the Mechanics that did the rebuild . I will always come back to Bobby's Transmission and will also steer as much business to them as I can. Thanks again guys, you were Amazing!!

We had Bobby's do the transmission in my wifes Tahoe and I can honestly say they went above and beyond!!!! We got excellent customer service and was treated like family!!! I recommend them 100%!!�! We drove from Heyburn to Meridian for my Grandsons graduation.Driving down a side street, on our way to the hotel, we ran a stop sign that was hidden behind a tree (See photo). Fortunately we didn't hit any body, but we bottomed out hard on the excessive dip in the road. The impact was so severe, that it cracked and broke the transmission case. We were able to limp to the hotel, as the last of the transmission fluid leaked out, and the transmission started slipping. My Son let us use his spare vehicle to drive back home to Heyburn. Once we got home, we called Bobby's Transmission and Greg said we'll fix it. So we called and had it towed over there. They found us a low miles transmission and fixed our car, and did it all in less than a week. Car drives good as new. If you're in that area and need transmission work done, don't hesitate. Greg was extremely helpful and took quite a bit of time out of his day to assist me with a long standing issue I've had with my vehicle. His recommendations and and quick test helped steer me right on my project. If Greg is a representation of how they do business, you can be sure they are an excellent shop.

I've just had good luck with Bobby's...fair pricing, great mechanics and awesome people ...like a trip to the beach....let's face it...transmission issues are rarely fun nor quick fixes so drop it off and go to the beach.

Excellent service. I called and was able to have them look at my work vehicle same day. I was in and out very quickly and was able to return to work with my work vehicle the same day. Definitely would recommend these guys. Thank you Lance!

I brought my truck in for a second opinion, and I'm beyond grateful I did. We went from being told we needed a new transmission and manifold to electrical wiring. They are honest and I definitely can't complain about their reasonable prices. We will be using them for our personal and business vehicles from now on. I took my work truck to the local dealership after my transmission was acting funny for a few days. They said I had a "Complete transmission failure" and quoted me $5,300. I wanted a second opinion so I drove it over to Bobby's the same day. They called me a few hours later and had diagnosed the problem. They kept the truck that night and it was ready the next day. The grand total: $220. They took the time to figure out what was wrong and repair it. They didn't try to get as much money out of me as possible like the dealership did. These guys are professional and know their stuff! We'll be using them in the future and I've already told all my friends & family about them. Thanks Bobby's!

We had our TCM (transmission control module) replaced in our Mazda 5 at Bobby's Transmission a few months ago.We went to five other mechanics before them that all gave us inaccurate diagnoses and sky high price to replace it. I did my homework, knew it was the TCM that needed to be replaced and knew the cost to replace it.Bobby's was the first *honest* place we came across. They replaced it without any problems and charged us a very fair, accurate price. Our car has had no issues since. I highly recommend them!

Great price, fast turnaround, friendly staff. $2000 less than both general repair shops in town and about 2 weeks faster turn around. I was going to rent a car for my family trip I had scheduled 2 weeks after my transmission was fixed, but decided to give it a go.... I'm impressed. Took my truck on a 1,600 mile trip up through north Idaho, out to Seattle through boiling hot eastern Washington to Seattle, then back. Truck ran like a champ up hills, off road to hiking trail heads, and in city traffic in Seattle. Not that I want to go back and see them again, but if I do need a transmission repaired in the future, they already earned my repeat business.

I randomly stopped into this shop as I was passing by on Oct. 25th. I was having a problem with my automatic transmission shifter lever being very loose/sloppy on my F-250. I researched this a little and found that many times, the two bolts for the lever under the dashboard can come loose. I tried to find these bolts with no luck. I spoke with Lance (operations manager) and he came out to my truck to look at it. He went under the dash and without looking but more by feel, he declared that yes the bolts were loose. He came out from under the dash with one of the bolts in his hand. He clearly knew exactly what the problem was and where to find them without even looking. He went into his shop and brought out the needed tools to tighten them along with some lock tight to insure they don't come loose again. This took him about 15 minutes. I asked how much I owe him and he said don't worry about it. Needless to say I was a bit surprised at his honesty, integrity, and did not feel that he was out to gouge people as many other shops would do. After reading many other reviews, It seems I am not the only one who has had this excellent experience with this company. The shifter has never worked so well. I now don't have to worry about the lever falling off and leaving me stranded. I will never hesitate to tell my friends and family about this excellent shop I have discovered.Great job Lance! Bobby s Transmission rebuilt the Dana 80 rear differential on my truck on January of 2020. It developed a leak on the pinion seal recently. The work they originally did is clearly out of warranty being we are now almost 16 months later. They replaced the worn out yolk and had it back to me the following day. Much to my surprise the bill was only $165.00. I was prepared for a $500 to $700 dollar bill. Greg didn t charge me for any of the labor or the new fluid. The only charge was for the new yolk. In summary this is a great shop with great customer service. So refreshing to find a business with integrity. 5 stars! They made another customer for life. They were recommended by a mechanic I know. I have been impressed by the quality of their work at a very fair price. Always courteous and helpful. It has been several months since they rebuilt the transmission in my trucks and it runs well. I noticed someone mentioned in another review that they have a loaner van. I didn t know that but I m going to see about a loaner Corvette.

I had some issues with my older Hyundai. I'm not going to lie I was mad at these guys in the beginning. Not going to get into details because what really counts is the service they provided. They went WAY above and beyond to make things right with us and my car is running great! Went in to pick up my car and they REFUSED to let me pay for anything (probably shouldn't be sharing that haha). I wanted to at least pay for the part and they said NO! Who does that? Certainly not a car repair shop, right? Wrong! These guys are amazing! Integrity and loyalty is top notch! All of our vehicles will be going there when we need them fixed. Thank you so much!

I somehow missed writing a review I guess so I will take the opportunity now. I found Bobby by googling Honda Transmission repair. I have a 2015 Odyssey that was having a hard shift between 1st and 2nd. I made appointment for an inspection and the staff were very good and professional when I dropped off the car and when I picked it up. The outcome was that it was a software issue with Honda and the transmission showed no signs of damage or impending failure. Still waiting for Honda to fix the software but these guys did everything they said to the tee, even providing a free inspection. That's right no charge. I trust service shops who do what they say. *UPDATE*My husband left the car in the parking lot at Bobby's Transmission with a note stating what had happened, and he dropped the keys in the key drop, as it was Sunday and the shop would not open until Monday. Well, this afternoon Greg from the shop called, letting us know he had fixed it all, free of charge, and kindly offered to reimburse any towing costs (to which Josh declined). Greg also let us know that our particular vehicle is known for a certain piece breaking, and asked if we could bring the car back in at a later date to replace the part, free of charge. I am beyond impressed with this shop. Their customer service is exceptional. They even pressure washed the vehicle and it is now sparkling! Thank you so much!!!Sincerely,A Happy, Loyal Customer!!!!*Original Post*Three weeks ago we had Bobby's Transmission in Meridian take apart our transmission and replace the hoses, redo the seals, and just make sure everything was in excellent condition. We have driven the vehicle very minimal since then, as we only live one mile from our work.Our first time going out of town (in fact, our first time even on the freeway since then), we only made it half an hour before the hose that was just replaced popped off the transmission, draining all of the transmission fluid.My awesome grandpa dropped everything to pick us up last night, then drove back out to tow the car.Now, here's to hoping Bobby's Transmission is helpful in taking care of this promptly and ensuring the best customer service. I will be sure to update all of you regarding how helpful they are!!

The employee's of this shop have seen my old, old care twice this year. The first time I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and affordably they fixed it. As a single lady with only one vehicle, keeping it running has been a high priority for me. Lance, Greg and the crew at Bobby s have been extremely helpful, always exceeding my expectations in customer service. They have proven their honesty and integrity. Never once have I been made me to feel less for not knowing a lot about automotive problems. Transmissions are just the beginning of what they can help with.

Great Job!!!I took my Son s Jeep to Bobby s after another shop had looked at it and were just throwing parts at it at my expense they could not figure out or duplicate the problem (same old story). I was worried because Bobbys is a transmission shop and transmissions are expensive. For once in my life I found an auto shop that doesn t try to upsell or rip you off. They fixed the issue which wasn t even a transmission issue and did a service that the other shop said was supposedly dealer only. The bill was shocking in an excellent way. Honesty and Integrity seems to be priority with these guys. I pick up the Jeep tomorrow so I ll keep everyone updated on the noise . But for now great job to Bobby s and crew. In my line of work now I know who to take customers cars to.Update..The noise is gone and the car runs great now. Thanks Bobby s.

They fixed my husbands truck which had problems after two different aamco's supposedly fixed it. They did it in just a couple days. It runs so smooth and shifts like a dream. i will definitely bring all my cars here for work. Highly Recommend them and prices are so reasonable.

I just picked up my 2002 Ford F250 Diesel. I cannot begin to tell you what a great difference in the performance of my transmission. I had Bobby's build their bulletproof transmission for tow vehicles like mine, and what a great job they did, everything was flawless. About two years ago Bobby's added a large capacity oil cooler to my trans and that made a huge difference in the trans temperature. When towing my travel trailer up a significant grade when it's 100 degrees outside, my trans would reach up to 220 degrees, which will eventually fry your transmission. Now, on the hottest days it barely reaches 150 degrees. So I highly recommend Bobby's for any transmission needs and they also did my brakes all around and they are also working flawlessly. So thank you Bobby and the great staff that work there, very professional, with a fair price for high quality work.
