Wow, what a great experience!I bought a battery from Advanced Auto Parts in Meridian 3 years ago for my 2016 Chevy Express.I went back to get a new one today and was greeted by Gary. He looked at my past paperwork and fixed me up with a new battery at a great price. He also helped me install it and I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Gary was extremely helpful in getting me into a new battery, with outstanding customer service. In addition to installing it, he pointed out a worn cable that needed to be addressed, that I will tape up when I get back home.I've had two great purchasing experiences at Advanced Auto Parts in Meridian, and I will continue to return for future auto parts needs. Great job Gary and thank you for your assistance today.Rick.

Gary took care of me today. Was having a bad week and needed a new battery on top of it. He actually changed out the battery on my way to work!! Can t say enough how much he turned the day around. Never shopped at Advance before but I will be from now on when I need something. Great service!!!

My windshield wipers were horrible and Bill not only changed them for me but he went above and beyond and fixed my windshield wiper sprayer which was broken then he filled my windshield fluid which was almost empty!!! Bill is the BEST!!!!

The forecast said SNOW ... just as I was planning a trip to Nevada. I was bombarded by well meaning advice from friends that only served to terrify me. I keep having visions of me and the Donner party heading over the mountain pass ...I went into AAP yesterday afternoon with a laundry list (flares, battery cables, windshield wipers, tow rope, safety triangles) and Gary was incredibly helpful at pulling the list together. "Can't be too prepared", said he and he was fantastic at pointing out why some brands are better than others ... I'd rather spend the bit extra $ and get a good product that I can rely on. Gary said, reassuringly, "This is what I put on my wife's car and two years later it's still good ...". I was empowered by his knowledge and felt much safer after he gave me tips for driving in the snow. He even put the new windshield wipers on my Honda replacing the garbage windshield wipers supplied by the car seller that kami-kazied themselves after just six months in a temperate summer climate. Shocking, whatever happened to Quality and Integrity?But I digress ... whatever lack of integrity displayed by the car seller was more than tripled by Gary. If you want good guidance, good suggestions, good humor and common sense, ask for Gary, he's got it all. Thank you, AAP, I appreciate you.

I went by Advanced Auto in Meridian to hopefully get diagnostics run on my vehicle. Luis (I believe that s his name) was fast to help me and run the test. He determined my battery was bad like I suspected. He was able to find the battery and install it within 15 minutes. The price was very fair and service unbeatable. He made my day with his willingness to help and his kindness. I will definitely go back there for any auto parts.

I had to buy a headlight tonight for my van and was dreading the installation. I had to replace the other headlight 2 weeks ago, purchased from O'Reillys which I installed myself with the help of YouTube (watching it 10x) and it took me over 30 minutes. The salesman here at Advance Auto Parts was so friendly and offered free installation if it was easy. It wasn't the easiest but he got my new headlight in and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Made me day! Thank you and I will return!

The staff here are so knowledgeable and friendly! I don't recall the gentleman's name, but when my battery leaked acid all over my engine, he quickly replaced it and got up the acid. We joked about how my battery was the worst he's ever seen, which helped take away some of the stress I was feeling!

Where to start...I walked in and the manager had his mini poodle sitting on the counter top. I explained that I ordered a part from their website, and that it was the wrong part. I brought in my receipt and the wrong order, and asked to exchange it for the correct part. He proceeded to tell me that he can't accept exchanges from online orders, and that I would have to mail the part back to the warehouse to get the exchange I needed, for a part I needed today.All around terrible customer service, and experience in general.It was my first time shopping at Advance Auto, and I will not be back.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went to buy a battery and the guy, Gary, refused to help me put it in and also refused to loan me a wrench to install it myself. Saturday afternoon at 4:30 he had the freaking nerve to tell me to take it to a shop. What shop is open at 4:30 on a Saturday? My brother had to come down and lo and behold Gary managed to loan him a tool to install it. Thanks Gary. You are a stand up guy. Jerk.

They know a thing or two about cars. So if you need help come here and they will get the stuff you need, I always get my parts from here. Good pricing and me being younger they still let me get the stuff I need, cause they know Im actually working on my car. Great staff, great products

I did a preorder online of a couple items but had forgotten transfer case fluid. I told the employee that I needed to grab something else, he shrugged, offered no help, and didnt even bother to get my preordered items off the shelf. He had my stuff in random places, one item he picked up off the floor. I mean, yeah it's just car parts but off the floor? This is a business right? The employee was cold and seemed like he was in a bad mood. He didn't offer a bag or even put my things in the oil pan I had purchased, he just waited for me to get my stuff and eyes me making me very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be getting parts from them. This was just a one time thing to see how the other auto parts stores compare to each other. I think I'll stick to O'Reilly's.

Cannot put into words how awesome Luis was to come out and help me fix things. He definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to help. A great representation of advanced auto and a reminder there are still great humans left in the world

A much better selection of auto parts than other auto parts stores. Especially on line. They even sell some atv/utv parts.Have not dealt with the staff enough to know if they are knowledgeable in auto repair and parts hence the four stars. I will change to five stars if the staff is knowledgeable. I do know that they are friendly though.

Expensive compared to other stores. I needed new windshield wipers for my car and they only had one blade in stock but charged me the same price for the one blade. It was snowing at the time and I needed a new wiper just so see so I had to buy it. Won't be using this store again.

Advance Auto Parts was very helpful with the failed battery I brought in. They ran a thorough test on it to insure it was actually bad and sold me a new one with a three year warranty for $30 less than what O'Reilly was selling their 24 month battery for... Warranty isn't everything, but the battery I previously purchased from O'Reilly failed after only 2 - 1/2 years. It was the 2nd battery from O'Reilly to fail and the one before it lasted just over 3 years. I have never had batteries fail that fast! I wouldn't buy another battery from O'Reilly and would buy from Advance Auto Parts instead.

The company as a whole has inferior quality parts. Installed a power steering pump failed in 2 days. Shop said it was a faulty part. Store refused to return my money. Don't shop at these stores.

I called and asked if they have a certain part, they said "yes" , bought it, and it was the wrong part, asked for my money back..with the receipt, and all they can offer me is a inhouse credit...for a place I NEVER have shopped at before or will again . They are holding my money hostage. Thieves!!!

Called in and talked to Tracy. She was rude and hung up on me because my phone was cutting out. I called back after she hung up and asked if this is how you treat all your customers and she yelled at me saying she couldn't hear me.

This is so local auto parts store that also has a UPS drop off location. I was using the place as a drop-off location for UPS. You do have to have the label on your box because it is not a full service UPS drop off.
